The online check-in is a waste of time yes. It says to avoid contact and going into the store to do the online check in. However I had to still go in the store and they had to do everything in the store because he said that that's just how it is so why even do the online check-in it's doesn't avoid anything but just causes double the workPamela O.

The van had something wrong with a tire/wheel. It was very frightening to be on the highway and have the tire light come on and the tire suddenly start vibrating hard like it had a big bubble on it or some thing. Then it would stop after a minute or so. This happened maybe 10 times, and each time was scary.GAROLYN S.

I would not recommend UHaul or use them again. I was sent about 6 miles away from my original location. Which was inconvenient and time consuming. I estimated my mileage based on the original location. I was not told or given a option to increase my estimated mileage. My last reservation experience was not good either. I was directed to another location within 3 hours of my pickup, via phone call. All charges were not explained. The young lady today was rude when I said it didn't know about extra mileage. I'm going to post my experience on social media if I don't get a phone call.KEVIN P.

Terrible Experience. We booked our truck early with a reservation. We wanted the biggest truck because we were moving out of town. The day of we set up the truck with the woman at the front desk, we let her know the miles, and that we would be returning the truck to a different location. We paid that day and bought some other supplies and were on our way. We moved the 1st of October. The next day I received a phone call asking if and when we were returning the truck. When I informed him that we would be dropping it off here soon at this Wichita location. He was instantly enraged and went on to accuse me of stealing the truck and saying I was going to have to pay extra for all these fees, he was so rude. We then went to return the truck and the lady was confused at the contract because it was in fact for an in-town visit. We were confused because we just set it up with the original U-Haul telling them exactly where we were going. We were extremely dissatisfied with the experience, but that wasn't the worst part. A couple days U-Haul had charged my account $750 right out of my bank account. I didn't authorize this charge and I certainly wasn't notified before hand. On top of that I was charged $900 in total plus $85 in gas when I returned it. this caused so much disarray in my life and they were not willing to help at all. Will never use this moving service and will never recommend to anyone. Just wanted to save the next sucker 1000 to move to a new home.ROLAND H.

Reliable as always. I made a reservation late Thursday night. I showed up at 6:55 on Friday, grabbed the trailer I wanted, and left with an appliance hauler and 6 blankets at 7:15. Returned everything at 5:30 that night for a 1 day rental. Everything perfect. I have rented here before for several days and did a trailer return alone at 2:00 am in the morning using the app. Again, everything worked perfectly. When I read the ratings, these are people who wanted more than a trailer rental. They always want to cry about something. I am a satisfied customer and will definitely be back. Asked for a appliance dolly and furniture pads, paid for them and did not receive them. Desk personal had very little experience working the front desk and had to constantly ask the other worker for help while they were with another customer. We were refunded the money for the dolly and pads, but it was an inconvenience not to have them to help move.Kaitlyn E.

The phone reps were very helpful. The truck was dirty as indicated in my pickup pics, the app did not accept my code for check in, they lost my charger even though I called to say I left it, and I was charged for gas after I returned it with gas appropriately. Not a good turn of events.SHAREDA R.
Have the equipment available that is rented. The salesperson (Marge) and Zack (at store in person) confirmed the hauler was at the location. It wasn't. Teach them how to understand inventory levels. The car hauler I got from U-Haul location was not in good shape. The gent working there, who was extremely helpful, had a difficult time with the car hsuler. The component to attach it to the truck had broken upon arrival in Cuhahoga Falls.Michael F.

Booked truck 2 weeks in advance at u-haul location close to home. Received a call day before pick up informing me I needed to pick up my truck 20 miles away from desired location. Once at new location at set time had to search through lot to find truck was not up front ready to go. Once found in the back of the lot found that the truck was blocked in by another vehicle and still had a car trailer attached to it. Went into location and employee was helpful pulled around front and removed trailer.Ryan R.

When a came back to pick up the auto transport the Uhaul watched my uncle climb out the window of my car after he got it on the transport. It wasn't until we got almot to our destination when my uncle realized that the car door would open fully. My most recent experience wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. The truck wasn't dirty, but not clean. There was a small dirt clod in the back and the windows and mirrors were dirty. Not so much so that I had to stop and clean them but enough so that I wished they'd been cleaner. The back up camera worked approx 50% of the time. I told the guy who checked me in about it and presume it will be fixed but fixing it now doesn't help me given I'm done with it. I can understand how it could have been missed though since it did work approx 50% of the time. The electronic checkout process was clunky. I had to re-enter a bunch of information into the app when I arrived despite having "checked out" electronically hours before picking it up. Also there was a vehicle pulled up within maybe 10" of the lockbox making it difficult to get to it to get the key out. Why can a vehicle get that close to the lockbox? Should there not be something to prevent a vehicle from blocking it? All in all the truck performed the necessary duties of a truck but the above prevents me from giving this rental a 5 star, or even a 4 star rating. Just average.JEFFREY B.

Checking out the Trailer went very smooth. Returning the trailer was smooth also. But the man that had me back the trailer in and unhooked it for me did not enter it that it was returned, it happens. When I was called about it and told them that it was returned. They checked and let me know it was there. A very simple oversite, part of may have been I opted for a e-receipt. But overall this location is great, every time I have used them.curtis L.
Contactless pick up didn't go that well. Mileage was wrong and had to be updated. Dolly was not in the truck and wasn't included in the check out so we didn't check for it. Check in went even worse. While attempting to to complete all steps on my phone an employee is in the truck and tells me that is only for when they are closed.
