I originally was supposed to get a truck from APR in Enid, OK. Reserved it 10/30/20. Got down to three days before pickup & was told truck was gone. I had to drive to Stillwater to pick up. Something NOT factored into packing & moving plans. I thought I was getting the number of pads my mover recommended, but did not. He tried to get APR to comp me the extra pads due to the runaround I had to go through, but no. Extra trip on moving day, & extra money out the door. They were helpful and straightened out a problem - but SOMEHOW we were charged for $150 worth of boxes online. I NEVER even looked at boxes when making the online reservation. WAS NOT HAPPY about how this had even happened. So the 3 stars are for the unknown box charge!!!JOHN B.

I have rented from Bobby for over 9 years. He has always gone above what normal people do as far as service. He is knowledgeable about many things and will come to your aid anytime. He will come in all types or weather conditions and make sure you are secure before you leave his shop. I will only rent from him. I have read some of the comments and I say if you are not satisfied with Bobby Dee then you must be the problem. He know what he is talking about and respects people in every way. I might recommend this site to someone but need to give new staff appropriate training so they can take care of customers when they bring in equipment. Waited for refund on boxes brought back said that would happen later that afternoon employee stated he didn't need any further information he had our contract but credit never refunded. You can't just throw a new employee out to the wolves and just let whatever happen. Don't feel like it was his fault at all should have had proper training.MELISSA C.

U-haul was installed without a d-ring which caused it to disconnect on the highway, creating a serious life safety hazard. Zac Ingram, the salesperson, repeatedly hit on Morgan Vance and Madison Vance, the two girls who picked up the trailer. In fact, Zac asked Morgan for her phone number (not for rental purposes), and told her she would be great with his kids. He proceeded to tell them his wife was in prison so there wouldn't be any interference. Last, I was told over the phone before renting that if I picked up the trailer any time on Friday, I could return it any time on Sunday and would not be upcharged, but Morgan's credit card was upcharged on Sunday.Morgan V.

Facility is in a fairly convenient location to OSU. It is on a hill so I didn't worry about my storage flooding, but also with that, you have to be careful taking the turns in a big truck. Sometimes the lot is empty and easy to maneuver, sometime it's full of trucks making it a tight squeeze. It is not gated, but I felt it was secure. Someone is always there if you need something. Move in was easy. Move out was not bad, but make sure you follow up and get a confirmation right away. Would definitely use this facility again, if the need arises.Andrew P. | Overall Experience

I was able to rent this storage unit over the phone for my daughter just before school closed for COVID. They sent all the needed information via e-mail and when we arrived the lock was in the unit and we were able to move in despite the office being closed. When we moved out everyone was kind and helpful. I like that the unit was temperature controlled and the cameras made me feel safe and secure leaving our stuff there. I put in a reservation for a 15 foot U-Haul trailer to use, and then a day later they told me that they did not have one available but I could get a bigger one at the same price. I made the reservation for 10 a.m. and I did not get my truck until 1 p.m. and they said sorry for the inconvenience. Overall I am not satisfied at all because I had to end up paying extra money for a bigger trailer with the gasMelissa Y.

The staff is rude. They are uneducated.. i was verbally harassed by melissa who received my truck and wrongfully acused and charged of damage to the truck that had nothing to do with my rental. I am currently in dispute with the charges and feel like my dignity was violated by the employees of this location . I was being discriminated because of my latin descent and appearance.luiz D.
Customer service was incredible! Bobby Dee is the best, I know he is in another location but the link received doesn't allow me to rate him in his location. He made the impossible to get us a bigger truck recommended to tow a heavy car. Although we were needing it the same day, he started doing some calls until he got it. He was supposed to close at 6pm but he waited for us until we finished everything. We had to move our things from one truck to another and he waited patiently. Without his recommendations we wouldn't be able to move all the things we wanted including the car. He taught us how to load the car and how to drive it safe. Excellent customer service!Tania R.

The employee was nice and trying to be helpful, but there was a computer problem that would not let us complete the check out. I was there over 1 hour....and that was after completing the online check in. I would encourage Uhaul to study the rental car companies for best practices. I can walk away from a rental car counter in 10 minutes with a $50,000 car, but it generally takes 3 times that long for a $10,000 trailer.John K.

Overall I would never recommend U-Haul to anyone. The price was quoted incorrectly, there were extra fees and charges, the inability to deliver to my home as previously reserved and my original contract due to their not being trucks and or delivery people available in the entire state of Oklahoma. The person working at the U-Haul place was slow and effective and did not know at all what he was doing which caused a huge delay. Hands down worst thing ever will never use again.Max S.

I originally had reservation at bobby dees motor sports but since the credit card machine was down I was not able to get a truck there so I transferred my reservation. Bobby really wanted cash and was very pushy toward his customer to give them cash and asked me to go the nearby ATM if I wanted to rent that truck I reserved. He was not very patient. I called an hour ahead of my reservation time to let him know that I will be late to pick up my truck but he should have mentioned on the phone that the credit card machines were down instead of telling me when I arrived at his store to pick it up. I finally decided to transfer my reservation to the location above I was able to get a truck with no hassle. U haul should help Bobby Dee renovate his store to be more inviting and friendly. Currently his shop looks like a junk yard, I am sure he wouldn't mind a renovation with the help of U-haul since he is been working for them for over 25 years nowAbhay G.
I walked around the store for about 15 minutes and no one was there to help me. I even called the store and no one answered. I was trying to return my truck. I eventually went online and did it myself but I had no clue where to park it of anything like that. When picking up the truck, the dolly we had reserved was not put in the truck. This was not found until we were in place to move. Did not have time to go back and try to get it. Had to call the number on the U-Haul agreement and wait 5 to 10 minutes to talk to someone about refunding this. After the conversation still I'm not sure win and if it will be refunded.Jeff C.

The location was fantastic and customer service was good as well. The truck was terrible, something was wrong with the gas gauge and the ride was extremely rough. I called and spoke with 1800uhaul multiple times, sent to a location on Skyland Blvd in Tuscaloosa, AL to see if I could get a new truck. 2 days before I picked the truck I got a call and asked to change my location and pick up day. I try to be very accommodating to others but I think your company should pay attention to customers when they are traveling longer distances and make sure that they get newer or nicer trucks. I also made my reservation online in advance, there should have been at the pick up location that I requested. I was going to let all of this go but I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this rental.Jami T.

You need to Clean the vehicle before a new customer gets into it. I got into a truck that had food and crumbs everywhere and pet hair filled cup holders and doors. With Covid-19 going around it made me feel susceptible to it because you never know the person that left that truck dirty did not have the virus. I asked the employee there at the time if they're suppose to clean them after every use and he said â€œyes, but we don't always get to it in time.â€ I would be cautious of this sort of thing. Make sure you bring sanitizing wipes and gloves with you just in case.Kalie A.

Over all a good experience with a storage unit. Only had a problem with the policy regarding payment/ prorating of unit if moved out early. The property had a couple issues. We had difficulty leaving the unit entry area because of some concrete damage caused our car to bottom out if not very carefully driven over. 4 star rating due to the few minor issues. Staff was always friendly and helpful and knowledgable when inquiring about policies and procedures.
