It took money out of 2 cards and then I had to be refunded money then the next day it took another day of service out of my card again ans had to go all the way back to get my money. Short staff only one person working ans I hate the phone numbers for each store don't go to the store it goes to a call center.Mary R.

After being hooked up no one checked to make sure trailer lights were working. They were not. They did change plug and fixed. When returning waited in space for 15 minutes before anyone came out. Never acknowledged me. So I opted to check back in on line! A simple someone will be with you shortly goes a long way!!JOHN G.

Stating the the uhaul must be returned to the same pickup location so that a 400 dollar fee won't have to be paid would have been good to know in advance. Thankfully there was a nice lady at the register who helped me if i could rate purely based on her kindness you would get 5 stars.Ivy P.

Unwelcoming customer service. Made customer feel like a burden or interruption. Opted not to purchase some moving supplies as a result. The location was easily accessible. The reservation and check-out/check-in process was fast. The rental van was in fine shape. Would Customer recommend this location? Maybe.Logan B.
It wasn't clean but the 9' rental truck work perfect. The ladies at 4001 Southeast 14th street did a wonderful job assisting my needs. They were very busy and handled themselves with such professionalism. Very impressed by it. And the call center reps was a HUGE help for my moving needs. It was very easy to extend the rental truck. I arrived at my appointment time and was told they didnt have a truck for me. After over an hour of digging found out that the manager rented out my one way truck to someone local. They provided no help, no guidance, no options. I was still standing at the desk and the woman behind the counter started asking the people behind me what she could do to help them. Completely rude and not helpful at all. I had to drive back home, change the weekend plans, change the additional help assisting us for moving my daughter and called scheduling managers to find another truck for the weekend. I ended up getting the truck i was SUPPOSED to have the following morning. The staff in the office complained the entire time i was there the first day and were upset that there was so many people in line at the door the next morning. Worst experience I have ever had. Will NEVER use Uhaul again and will tell this story to everyone I know.Andrea S.
Location was understaffed and the representative was rude. She tried to make me use a 17 foot truck when I ordered a 20 even though there we're multiple in the parking lot. It was only after another customer in line said he was returning a 20 foot that she gave me what I reserved 2 weeks ago. She even told me to try and have it back before I reserved ot for because it would make things easier on the company. Next time I'll use Penske!Hunter M.

We received excellent customer service when checking in to pick up our rental. Returning our rental was a different story. Person who waited on us grabbed keys mumbled something and just walked off. Extremely rude and we left questioning if we would be back.JOSEPH B.
My card was charged for a extra day! When I dropped off the truck and contract and 7:15pm. Yes it was after hours but instead of calling me and asking they just went ahead and charged my card for an extra day. I will never ever use u haul again. I put 30 dollars of gas in it and the attended seen that it was over more then what it needed to be for the gas and I was still charged for the extra mileage. I will never ever recommend uhaul to anyone. No communication at all and they feel free to charge whatever they want!Kelly K.

1. Do a drug test before hiring, and randomly during employment. These women seem high. Moving to fast, don't know what they doing. Messed up my rental, the last 2 times. Still calling 3 days after I returned the truck telling me I'm late in returning it. Need to watch the camera, to see I returned it. And the woman who called last Alyssa, is rude! Told me to shut up, and calm down. I told her son talk like that. You all are accusing me of stealing a truck, basically. I have a reason to be upset. U need a supervisor, not Kathy Brown, or Alyssa. Employees were wonderful, welcoming, and kind. However, my truck rental was not such a great experience. Truck had a difficult time accelerating while driving. Once the truck was loaded up, we attempted to start the truck and it would not. Called roadside assistance, and they came in a timely manner. Jumped the truck, but was informed by attendant that the truck should not be turned off until drop off. He also informed me that this particular vehicle had been maintenanced for same issue 13 times in the last 6 months. Returned the truck to Uhaul location, and clerks were very friendly and did not charge me for gas because I was unable to fill the truck upon my return. It was also noted that this truck was scheduled to be out again shortly after my drop off time.Bailey G.
arrived to pick up trailer to be told our light reciever did not work, came back home, tested it, it was fine, drove all the way back down and had them recheck and the trailer lights weren't working wasting an hour of our time driving back and forth. got a different trailer-they didn't change the invoice, went to return it and the serial numbers didn't match and became an issue once again when the lady in des moines assured us that it wouldn't be an issue in Kansas.Jeremy K.

Items for improvement: I called the day before my appointment wanting to confirm that the part was in and ready for my arrival. Upon calling, I waited over 15 minutes on hold then gave up. I never some to anyone and wondered what to expect when I arrived. I think it would be great customer service if someone would call a day or two in advance to confirm the appointment. Upon arrival, I advised that I had an appointment to install a hitch. The person behind the desk asked for my key and said they would call when done. It would have been nice for a confirmation of what work was to be done*. No paperwork was looked at or offered. Upon returning to pick up my vehicle, I was handed my key. Again, no paperwork, no confirmation of what work was done. I asked about the wiring and was told it was completed. After further questioning, they finally took me to my vehicle to show me where the wires were and *where the ball joint was laying in my trunk... Something i didn't purchase and didn't get charged for. If anyone had checked my order, they would have seen I didn't but the ball joint... But gave it to me anyway. I see it in your best interest to consider offering a better customer service approach which would at minimal benefit you drink giving away parts that customers didn't purchase.Jose B.

The truck had some tire alignment issues. The had some mud dirt around the tires and exhaust area. The tire treads in the rear are almost gone. The truck needs maintainance before handing to the next customer. On the way it could do with some maintenance.Nana B.

First, I said MANY times I needed a trailer with a ramp. So when 2 reps started trying I knew there was going to be an issue. I came to pick up the trailer,$32, and the only trailer of the size I ordered had no ramp. Established that a smaller motorcycle trailer could work and rented that, even having the rep tell me it'd be half the cost. After initial frustration I left then looked at invoice only to find she charged me $49. Had it for an hour an a half then returned telling her the extra cost. She looked at it told me it was going to be $16 then it was $22 but ended up being $27 after everything. She stated I bought the insurance which in fact I initially refused insurance but being frustrated and completely disappointed with how things are ran there I just left. HORRIBLY mismanaged and to much confusion, no one really knowing what's going on there. When I dealt with the 2 in the beginning it was one of those reps that said it was the new employees fault which it wasn't, she actually tried to get me the right trailer. It was, I'm assuming a supervisor or possibly a manager, that gave the new rep wrong information which lead to this mess. This is just horrible that this ,lead?, person would throw fault on a new employee rather than taking ownership and trying to correct the issue but evidently uhaul doesn't care......?BRIAN D.
