The vehicle I rented was different than I expected. I thought the cargo van was a sprinter style vehicle but, it was a GMC Maxi-van. When we tried to fit a Queen size bed in, it wouldn't fit. Also, when I returned the vehicle, the charge was $100 higher than expected and when I call the following day to question it, the person that took my call said he would look into and and I am still waiting for a reply.MICHAELJAMES K.

The original walker place was where I rented the truck. They didn't have it when I got there. I had to go back to the original location out if my way to get it. Then they had the nerve to call me the next day. I rented the truck at 545pm. At 1035am the next day they call asking me to return the truck early or right away. I told them no. I have it till 545pm. No matter witch one I go to they never have or seem to have anyone except the managers , permanent. Their alway teaching and I'm waiting . Is it low wages or are they not up to it ??? Was rented out a unit with a non operating door - door was to be repaired and I was to be contacted when completed - I called a week later and I had to leave a message because it wasn't apparent that the door was repaired - the following weekend I was contacted to be advised that I could move into another unit (not an end unit which I requested) I advised I would wait for another end unit to become available, as the one I had been booked under was rented to someone else now, I was then notified my monthly payment was coming due - I canceled. Worst Uhaul experience by far at this location. If I ever rent a uhaul again and this location is where the system has me rent from I will cancel my reservation and use another company.Ryan M.
Not only did I have a ton of billing issues, when their lock seized I had to figure it out myself but don't dare damage their door... then I get my lock off and empty my unit dropped 3 boxes in their already messy garbage area and I get charged 50.00. I get the bill it says it is for storage not trash removal so pretty sure employees pocketed that money... overall terrible experience. While the Walker location staff did an excellent job, I doubt I will ever use UHaul again. After 15 years of renting, I learned a big lesson. I booked 6 wks ago for a covered trailer and had a firm reservation. When I went to p/up the trailer I was told they didn't have one. I was sent to another location on Tecumseh E for a promised trailer, they told me they had none, I was sent to Walker and was told that they could only give me a huge trailer which at my age I could not safely pull. I had two confirmations that my original reservation was firm and that I could get the trailer size I wanted, and ended up with a open trailer to drive to Guelph in pouring rain. The attitude of staff at both Dougal and Tecumseh E was sorry about your luck. They even suggested that I had just made the reservation that morning. Again, after 15 years of renting here, I will think twice before I ever rent here again. In speaking with others I was told it happens all the time and that staff just blow you off. The manager was rude from the first minute that I walked in the door, speaking over top of the associate that I was dealing with and giving short answers. The truck was filthy (windows, steering wheel, console). I had to wipe everything down. I was then double charged for the rental because I returned 10 minutes before closing time. When I was asked how long I would need the truck for, I responded that I would be back before closing time. I originally thought the location closed at 6 pm, when I asked the sales associate what time the location was open until, she told me 8 pm. I told her 'that would work'. When I returned I was told that some one had tried to rent the truck in the last hour of business and that I caused them to miss out on a rental opportunity. Not happy at all with this experience. I have dealt with U Haul for many years on many occasions without any complaints. I will not be returning to this 5025 walker road location.JASONF S.

Staff ALWAYS hanging on the golf cart and watching you instead of being available inside. The new hires are great but the girl (I believe manager) that's always been there is the worst. Our bill was more than $50 over what we settled on, which honestly, that's fine even if we don't understand why the extra charges, but when we received a call the next day to tell us we owed money, the woman who left the message, threatened us with putting it though to a collections agency! Pretty disappointed to discover there were hornets inside the cabin coming from either somewhere in the dashboard, or behind the seats. I discovered them driving down the 401 from Windsor to the GTA and had to kill 3 of them while driving, luckily I wasn't stung. Had this been a person with a bee allergy, it could have had grave consequences for themselves and other drivers on the highway. I don't necessarily blame the staff at the location because I understand these trucks move around everywhere and I could not see a nest near the seats or under the dash after a quick check at a rest stop, but this truck was a hazard plain and simple because of what was obviously a hornets nest somewhere in the vehicle.DANIEL N.

This storage facility was really good at first, but then I could not get into the building where the storage locker was. My code was cancelled and despite many new cards, I had to call someone and wait for them to unlock the building. This went on for weeks until I was done and it was still not fixed. The mattress and box spring were both wrapped in plastic and sealed to prevent this from happening. Furniture was ruined because of the layers of grime and dust. I have moved more times than I would like, majority of the times, I've used uhaul. I have had some horrible experiences in the pastðŸ˜¢ but I'd have to say this experience, was by far the best! I will never use another location again, as this one has far exceeded my expectations. The staff here was ABSOLUTELY, the best I've ever dealt withðŸ˜‰ and I am so thankful they were so good to me.
