According to my experience, the phone service should be more up to date to where the answering system should be the last option. There should be a actual person that works at that particular store answering the phones at all times for customers instead of being sent to an answering system.

Also the customer service person at the desk (a male) was a little rude. I understand under staffed and there is a way to say anything. He should be trained better in customer service. Clarence M.I was mislead totally. The rep told me that they ran out of Dollie's in store even though I reserved that and a truck days before. He then said that it's one on my truck and that he'll just charge me for it when I returned the truck. I accepted that deal and went on my way. When I returned to pick up truck ( location was closed) and I went home to move my things and when I opened the truck there was no dollie. So now I had to move everything by hand which wasn't the plan. To add insult to injury, I was moving during the night and parked the truck overnight to continue my move in the morning. I attempted to lock the truck and the stationary lock from U-Haul is broken… How does that happen to a customer who thinks when they reserve the truck that everything that was stated to be included it would be functioning. I had to go and purchase my own lock to make sure my items don't get stolen. No check and balances were don't to prevent this from happening and I'm sure it's taken place as I type this message. Something needs to be done about this because as a business this is unacceptable and false advertisement as well. Do better U-Haul, go check on your stores no matter what neighborhood their in. You placed them in that area for a reason, so treat it with the same dignity you do the others.

Sheila C.Customer service was horrible. They originally told me that they didn't have a truck for me and that I needed to go to another location. There were two pick up trucks on the premises, one hooked up to a trailer and the other had items on it and needed to be cleaned. I then suggested that they unhook the trailer and give me that truck. Which the agent refused until the manager came and I asked about the $50 rebate for not having the truck when I was guaranteed it. Then the manager suggested to clean off the truck and unhook the trailer. This causes me to be delayed almost 45 mins.
Kimberly T.one tire on my trailer was low on air and worn out. I didn't see it and assumed it was inspected before rental but was not. I had a flat the day I started my trip so I was delayed. Since I had a reservation at a hotel that I couldn't change w/o a charge, I had to drive at night in a storm and got there at 3am, very tired. And it was a 2 hr wait at p/u. Not enough workers. I was 2nd in line when it opened, luckily, or it would of taken longer as line was out the door

Camille M.Well I think for one you should have more than two people working the windows you would call it and also there should be dollies in all the trucks it's possible because I did order a dolly and it was not in the truck and it was supposed to be in there and they didn't have any at the store third I think especially when you take the time to listen to what a person is saying before you answer them that will work out well too I did not have a bad experience but I know and some people as you know they're trying to say something they were more like cut off and told something else but I think the best thing is to take the time and listen to a person before you respond and also I think everybody that did help me I did not have a problem they were courteous I just think that you should make sure all the equipment is there or what have you is provided that it should be able to be there how did a dolly or what have you whatever is asked it should be able to be there if possible and also if we're talking about a debit card credit card or what have you please make sure everybody knows that and everybody's is on one Accord because it was a customer there saying that they were told that they had to have a debit credit card or what have you but anyhow just make sure everybody's on 104 with the same information and if they don't know the information they can find out by asking their boss or what have you the information that way if I don't know the information give me one second I'll be back and I will get the information for you that would be better then they didn't tell me that I was supposed to have this or that I'm just saying as a customer again I had a pleasant time with everybody and they were helpful as everybody working together as a team and on one Accord y'all will be fine

When we returned the keys in the drop box slot we left a note stating that there was a hole in the roof prior to our rental and someone should check it out as the droplets from the rain ruined two boxes. Today I was charged a damage fee for this same hole. A hold that. i didnt even do. Mind you the only think we loaded the truck with were uhaul supplied boxes. No furniture. And nothing stacked to the ceiling. This location truly needs to be SHUT DOWN!!!!

Captain D.Knowingly gave me a rental truck with malfunctioning air tire valve in right rear tire, tire had a slow leak. (Before leaving the location the attendant told me he put air in all tires. The right rear tire was the only tire missing an air valve cap, when you touch the valve or try to put a cap on, lots of air comes out. If you put your ear to the valve without touching it, you can hear air slowly coming out.) Had to call roadside assistance which delayed my long distance move by 2.5 hours. This on top off several last minute cancellations & changes to my reservation regarding the truck size, auto tow, & tow dolley, when I made the reservation a month in advance online. I will be writing a letter to corporate.

I waited over an hour just to get the truck and that is unacceptable. When I returned the truck, I again waited 45 minutes in line despite asking if I needed to do this. There were no clear or visible rules on what the process is. They desperately need help at this location. People were getting frustrated, argumentative with the Uhaul staff, complaining and cursing at other customers due to the long wait. This was not a good experience despite your customer service employees working hard.

Sam O.I had booked the rental over a month in advance and had a print out of my confirmation. The franchise owners informed me that U-Haul national had cancelled out the reservation without informing me. The local owners were able to re-establish the rental, but getting a picture of both sides of my drivers license connected with the contract took many tries, by two co-owners, and took about 45 minutes. So it took about an hour to pick up my truck. Other than that things went well.
