First of all, the code given to me to open the lock was inaccurate and spent about 1 hour trying to open it thinking there was some sort of special way to get it open. The only way I was able to open it was when a in person worker opened the location. They were the ones that informed me that I had been provided the wrong word for the lock. On top of that, when the worker opened the truck they asked me if I had rented a dolly, and I did, but the dolly wasn't in the truck. So even if I had been able to open the lock on my own, I wouldn't of had had a dolly to work with. The worker did offer it to me and I took it. While we were trying to open the lock on our own we called costumer service; which took more than 20 minutes. But the bad thing wasn't the waiting, but the fact that the person helping us hung up on us and never reached back at us even though they asked for our phone number. Although they were able to work with me by apologizing and offering some extra time, it was still a very terrible and frustrating experience. On top of that, when I got in the truck the windshield was very dirty and the inside smelled very strange, in a bad way, the "check engine" light was on and the dashboard panel was cracked. I've used Uhaul for 8 years, and this is the very first time I've had any sort of issues with my experience, even from this location which I've used a few times in the past.FRANCISCO H.

Had issues with the A/C contacted u haul via phone and was told that they would check it out when I returned the unit, the motor cover in the cab wasn't latched down took a while to figure out why it was so damn hot inside the cab. still the A/C worked when it wanted to, U haul made no effort to adjust the price owed to compensate for the inconvenience, I also feel that the vehicle should be full of fuel when it is picked up, Not told it has 1/4 tank of fuel and it needs to be returned with this amount, well I should be paid for the extra fuel that was left in the tank at the same rate that I would have been charged if I hadn't returned it with the same amount as I had received it, and by the way Uhaul try entertaining the idea of offering up a discount to military/ veterans and seniors that could be very helpful as well, I'm sure it wouldn't tear a hole in your pocket...Michael H.

I had a reservation for 2weeks and I went to that location and there was no trailer so i went to a 2nd location and they were closed a lady from Uhaul reserved a trailer at another location and i go there and they were closed so again I called Uhaul and i was frustrated i told him that I needed a trailer ASAP he was very short with me and sent me to the location on SW MILITAREY Dr where I picked up a trailer. I spent a whole day driving around using my gas and time for a trailer that I had already reserved so I am not happy about this experience!!!!!LILLIAN H.

The gentleman we felt dealt with was new, friendly, and polite. His register was malfunctioning, his coworkers were didn't show him how to address the issues. Seemed as though it was a bother to assist him and us. Process took 45 minutes, in between issues and other customers. The truck was dirty. The return was well executed, once again the new guy was polite, explained everything about the charges. He'll be good once he gets the hang of web everything.BELINDA G.

Picked up my rental around 8am there was only 2 employees and they were busy.. Having more employees to help with workload would be ideal.. My rental was way behind other rentals so he gave me another rental truck which was parked near office. It was just returned not really cleaned with a 1/4 of a tank of gas in it .. In order to get the key I had to open a lock, which was a bit difficult to open. This was somewhat frustrating because even though I had the right combination it wouldn't open. After a few more tries it did open. Wish there were some more detailed instructions about how to open it.Francisco H.

I made a reservation for a 6x12 for one day and confirmed it days before I needed it. when I arrived, I was told my reservation was â€œnot in the systemâ€ and that they didn't have any 6x12s so I'd have to drive across town to get one. I settled for a 5x8( which required me to move in 2 trips), and the man at the desk attempted to charge me for a 6x12. After calling him out and paying, I waited outside to get hooked up because no one mentioned I had just paid for a trailer to the worker outside. Moving was the best part of this experience as I had to wait again to drop it off as the worker later that day was chatting with a customer. Finally when it was my turn, he told me to â€œwait a secondâ€ and ran inside. The 5x8 trailer is fairly light so after some time I started to pull it off myself. As I'm doing so, the man comes out and says he needs to check me out so I checked out and left. Worst U-haul experience I've ever had and I've used them for decades but I will be buying a personal trailer to save myself the hassle in the future.MAXWELL J.

I booked a truck for 8:30 and confirmed when I got there there was no truck. I called the 800 number, was placed on hole 12minutes then was hung up on, called back and was placed on hold for another 11minutes and hung up on again called again and was placed on hold for 27minutes before talking to someone. It`s not right for me to have to pay for 18 additional miles not to mention because of the over an hour delay by UHAUL had to change my moving plans which in turn cost me more money as I missed my appt window. I had movers waiting for me and was being charged. I was sent to another location 9 miles away and when I got the truck It was unbearably loud and smelled of exhaust when driving. I spoke with management and it was quite clear my concerns were of no interest. This was the worst UHAUL experience yet. In the future I will recommend to all my friends, family and customers not to choose UHAUL but rather PENSKI BUDGET or HERTZ .TYREE R.

My reservation was for 12:00 and I arrived at about 12:30. I checked in successfully via the app, and then it told me to go inside and show the associate the confirmation on my phone and get my key. The associate, a young woman, told me "no" and made me wait. When she did help me, she told me I was late and I needed to be on time. After she finished scolding me like an elementary school child, she said my reservation had been cancelled. It took her supervisor to come in and take care of things. He was able to take care of it in less than a minute and I was on my way. They need to work on customer service, and if the app checks me in successfully, it should be seamless from there. And uhaul needs to be more flexible with their reservation times.Michael T.
The AC kept turning off. No airflow was coming out. It was very hot. The truck smelled like smoke as soon as I got in. The ash tray had cigarette ashes in it. I shook my head at this because I could see the "No Smoking" sticker right on the steering column. The customer service was great as this location.CYNTHIA R.
