I have a complaint. I was told that my 26ft truck can be pulled into the storage on the part that was assigned as I proceed to do so I hit the top part..so why did that happened because they failed to tell me that it's broken & now I can't pull in. This is after I go & ask why was I told to pull in knowing their pull in space is broken. I don't not like being misinformed. The damage was not much because I was backing up slow...But just imagine if I wasn't. Because of this information was very important...so yes im dissatisfied with this particular part of my move..The other part was compensated. This was 1 of my worst moving. The experience was awful, but the staff did make up for it at the end. However, the truck we rented did not have any fuel but the agent did give us a credit for the inconvenience. The worst part was the condition of the truck. We opened the back and it had items left by the former renter. There was trash, soup cans, clothes, shoes, a dresser and a grill. Luckily, we didn't need the entire truck, so we just moved everything out of the way. I called to report it within 30 minutes of picking up the truck. I was told an agent from the location would call me, but I never heard from anyone. We took pictures. Once we returned the truck, I showed the pictures to the agent and they refunded our entire invoice. I have always had a truck inspected upon returning it, but I guess this one wasn't. As mentioned, they did the right thing in refunding our charges.Burton C.
This was much easier checking in. Thee last uhaul rental in Wetumpka Us Hwy 231 I had problems and was unable to check in. Checked out after 11 and check in a free minute after one. I call for assistance and no one answered the phone. I had to pay full day price plus an extra $20 for a two hour rental. Very disappointedMarian W.
on the Indiana side it was great, everything ran smoothly. On the Alabama side it was awful. No communication, the lack of staff was a big problem. However, I realize it is not the companies fault, no is able to get staff. I would have liked a lot more updates.Darlene H.

Poor experience began on Mobile Hwy which latter created an issue at this location. Same is true with the final truck rent. This location claimed there was no one way rent truck for me as far as Salma only to learn leaving the location and 30 minutes prior to closing there was one on Mobile Hwy. After renting and dropping off, what was informed was learning to not be the end result. U-Haul nor it's staff in that error does not seem to keep or honor their word even when after holding the phone extensively to make reservations and constantly hear the call is being recorded, does U-Haul see that Customer satisfaction is priority. I'm a very unhappy customer due to my experience and as soon as I empty my last two units, I plan to never do business here again via truck and units.Felecia S. | Overall Experience

Stood there 20 minutes before I got my truck, they didn't have my appliance dolly that was paid for in advance. Had to go to another location 6 miles away to get it, and my TV box that was paid for in advance I had to go to a third location to get that. Took me almost 2 hours to get my stuff that was reserved and paid for in advance.Chad D.

Lady at the front desk was so rude. I asked her to show me the unit and she refused. She only showed me on the wall but refused to take me to the actual unit. Was not friendly at all. They over charger me saying I went 60 miles when I know for a fact I went on 40 miles. Then when I got the truck it was on the line before a half and I filled they tank up with way more gas that was in there when I received it and they still charged me $97.00 and some cents. The uhaul reservation system MUST be addressed. I reserved a moving truck only to be told two hours prior to pickup the the time and location had changed by 4 hours! Then, After telling me a truck would be available at a local shop, upon my arrival I was told they never have trucks there! I then had to drive all over town begging Uhaul stores to help me find a truck so that I could meet the movers. Ultimately, the reservation system need to properly reflect local inventory at the time of online reservation. It may also require local shop owners to provide an accurate inventory to dispatch/system. Also, allowing a hair salon to rent uhaul trucks is bad for your business. Their focus is hair, not truck, and the customer is the one who suffers. Please feel free to contact me to discuss this further. The experience I have had with Uhaul has been horrible. It started when I received a call the day before my move when I was told my truck was not going to be available in the city I had reserved it in. I had to travel to another city to pick up a truck. When I got to the other city to get the truck, the one I chose was not available so I had to use another one that I did not really need. The gas tank was 3/4 full and when I went to refuel it was very difficult to only fill it to 3/4 mark so I overfilled it. I let the person at the store know this and he assured me that I would be reimbursed for the overage. When I got my final receipt it did not show a refund for the overfilled gas. I was told that Uhaul does not refund for overfilled gas. This was a significant amount since these trucks have such large tanks. I'll never recommend your company.Thomas H.

My reservation was for a 15 foot truck and a car dolly. They had neither, I confirmed my reservation friday for pick up on sunday. Went to location on saturday to check ,after driving from Ma. was told no 15 , no dolly was directed to go down the st to the other uhaul to get dolly.Came in on sunday to get dolly ,after loading 20 footer. My dolly reservation had been cancelled .Worked through that but was charged $200, my original dolly fee was $122. So the bigger truck increased my gas bill 30% (on a 1500 mile trip) and $80 bucks for the dolly. What are you going to do about that???????Marc M.

Howie, Justin and Joe were awesome. Even though this was a secondary location, the experience was pleasant. There was a problem with the system as Howie tried to finalize the rental while I initially tried to pick it up, but he patiently called on his manager and they were able to get me on the road. When I returned the rental, Joe was very efficient and completed the transaction without a problem. I would definitely rent from them again. I reserved a vehicle at the Eastern Blvd location only to get the run around. I arrived at 9:30am with the truck I selected unavailable. I was offered a van or 26' but opted to wait until another vehicle is free. I was told by Houston that I would be notified when another 10' truck would be free. I received no call and when I came back I was told NONE were left. I was then offered by staff the same price for a 10' for a 15' available at E. South Blvd. Only to be told I could not have it for that price at that location upon arrival. I am still livid about my experience with Uhaul. A 9:30am move turned into a 12:30pm move.Renee I.
The only complaint I have is that I had reservation for 10 am, and had to wait in line because of another customer having to be waited on and they didn't have a reservation. Therefore, taking time away from my two hour slot I was renting truck for. The time slot was for 10-12 and I didn't leave the uhaul lot until 10:30.. I got back in time, but had to rush. I had to get a tow truck to tow the Uhaul because it rained the day before and the back tire was so slick and bald that it got stuck on one time which was the rear driver side . Tried to call for rode side assistance and Uhaul never answered and the online thing never responded the tow truck guy said the tires were definitely bad and too slick still have not gotten a response from Uhaul so that's 100 gone down the drainKatrina J.

Location was abandoned for some time, and Uhaul has only recently moved in. Uhaul facility was soft open, and needed much interior and exterior maintenance. If visiting Facility, show patience and courtesy to Uhaul and employees; they are currently in the process of converting an abandoned facility into a functioning, reliable storage facility.
