My Uhual/Ubox experience was AMAZING! I'm so glad I chose to go with them over pods. One container was enough for all of my stuff, it came with more then enough furniture pads, I moved from out-of-state (16-17 hours / 1,088 miles) and it took exactly 13 days for my container to arrive. It actually came about a week earlier then my guaranteed arrival date! Non of my things including 2 large tvs were damaged. The customer service was also wonderful. They stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. I highly recommend uhual/ubox over pods, pack-rat, or any other moving company. Definitely will save money, time and stress with uhual/ubox GUARANTEED 100%!!!! It went so well I keep telling my husband we should start a YouTube channel to share our experience and review/recommend uhual/ubox (which we definitely will be doing) Thank you uhual/ubox for your services!

PLEASE TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS TO BRING SCREWDRIVERS. Our unit was screwed shut when it arrived which we were not informed of or prepared for. The driver nor our building had tools for us to use. Luckily I had a pocket knife on hand but otherwise we would have had a serious issue.

The storage prices were a little expensive. However, my overall Uhaul experience was excellent! I really appreciated having moving trucks and pulling trucks available within the storage. In addition, having the option to leave gently used items in an area for someone else to utilize. The staff was always very helpful. Thank you!

The team is very quick to dismiss questions. I asked what storage unit would be best for a full size couch and clothing and a few boxes and was told "step to the right and make your decision" I asked if there was a common unit for someone moving a few items and was told from someone differently. "You know your items" and nothing more. I just wanted a general answer of what is common and was dismissed with short answers with rude delivery of message. The facility is great the people are very disrespectful and disappointing

The line create a wait time, but the customer service was awesome enough to want to want to go to this location ---- every time ---- even if it's out of the way. Site is great and had no issues with them. I did find the arrival portion of the "self-checkout" option a bit annoying because once I found the truck in the lot, took photos, etc., I had to go to the front desk/office anyway to get the keys. Which sort of defeated the purpose of self-checkout and made the process slightly longer than if I had just checked out with a person to begin with. I had assumed the keys would be in a nearby lockbox, some sort of RFID triggered by my cell phone to open the door and keys inside, or similar. But not a huge deal.

This location provided very good service - friendly customer service, clean trailer ready on time, good hook-up service. But there were two issues with my rental. I placed my rental order online and ordered a 2" starter kit, when I arrived they said they don't carry that item and the system should not have let me order it. Luckily I was at a Menards before and was concerned they would tell me that (I have seen other stories like this) so I bought one in case which saved the day. Second I ordered 2 dozen moving pads and received 2 bags. Later I discovered the bags each held 6 pads so I was short a dozen. I had to dispute this charge ($10 rental and $84 for not returning a dozen) which was quickly resolved. I had no idea how many I needed and luckily the one dozen was just right.

I had no cell service there to check in Return of Trailer via phone :/ As far as well maintained, trailer was clean but there was some bad issue with the hitch causing severe play stress and concern. Trailer was eventually replaced with exchange.

Our storage unit ended up being very easy to get to, and there were carts that helped us get everything efficiently! Only small snag was that the first space we selected was actually a really strange shape (not rectangular) with a support column making an 18" x 18" space in the unit unusable. But switching out of that unit was very easy!

Supposedly climate controlled on my floor, but it was always super hot - in the 90s at least! (July-August) Even at night, after sunset and it was cool outside. Being there for very long, especially lifting heavy items, was leading to heat exhaustion. Clean, but not well maintained. (Still under construction so there were no lights in my area until the day I moved out, and construction materials every where.) Elevator does not align with floor on my level, so getting carts in/out, especially full/weighted, was nearly impossible at times and items often fell in the attempt to get in/out of the elevator. Carts are badly designed with a weird center wheel that is larger than the others which also made operating them difficult. One cart was even missing a front wheel. Two TV shows film there all the time and have a set in the building (seriously, they do), so access was a constant problem. The street was almost always blocked off by the police, day and night. Even when the police weren't there, all of the crew's big trailers and trucks were. Plus the people and their equipment were usually blocking most of the doors to the loading docks. It took me a week to find a time that worked for me that I could also drive into the loading dock to load my stuff. By then, I didn't have time left so instead of multiple trips in my vehicle, I had to rent a van to move it all in one trip. Also that day, one of the elevators was unavailable, plus the film crew had so much going on (and of course it was my floor they were filming on) that I was constantly waiting for the only elevator the cart could fit in. What took me less than an hour to unload at my destination took nearly 4 hours, in extreme heat, to load at the facility because of the film crew. At first the TV shows filming there was cool, but then it became a major problem for me when it was all the time. Finally, the customer service is horrible! When I moved in, I was driving in from out of state (7 hours), so arrived late in the day. The woman that checked me in said she temporarily gave me 24 hour access so I could get unloaded - I had to drive back the same night (that's a whole other issue relating to multiple Uhaul locations in another state). But come 10pm, when I was only half way done unloading (I was doing so alone, so it took a while) I was suddenly locked out of the elevators! My unit was still wide open and I couldn't even get up there to close it! Clearly the woman didn't actually do what she said she was going to do. Staff follow through is a real issue at this location. I then spent nearly an hour on hold to reach a human being, who then had to try to reach the location manager at home, which took forever (understandably he was asleep at that hour), who then gave me access from home. I was able to finish unloading, but being 2 hours behind and exhausted, I ended up having to stop at a rest stop and sleep in my vehicle on the way back. I was also late getting back home to the people waiting to help me with the next load so I could be out of my apartment by my move out time. (Multiple trips was due to problems at multiple Uhaul locations in that state.) BTW, you can't call any location directly, which is idiotic. When I moved out, I physically gave the key card to someone in the office who said she was going to close the account. The following week I was billed for the next month's rent. I had sit on hold for over 30 minutes to get this corrected, but even then they had to send a message to the facility and have them call me back, which took several hours. It was finally corrected, but it shouldn't have happened at all. Also, the van I rented that last day from this facility, there was an extra $15 charge I also had to have corrected - they are incompetent or something! I've been using Uhaul facilities and vehicles for 20 years (4 states) for all of my storage and moving needs, but this last move was the worst, most complicated, most exhausting and stressful, because of Uhaul as a whole company. I've moved to other continents 4 times, dealing with embassies and visas and shipping necessary belongings by freight ship) and none of those were even remotely as stressful and anxiety riddled as this last move has been. About 85% of the problems I had were related to Uhaul locations and phone service. I know this feedback form is for just the one location and the storage space, but it is difficult to unravel all of these Uhaul pieces from this move.
