The check in process took over 30 minutes, even after I checked in online. The staff at the location are unfamiliar with the computer system. I have had the same experience both times I've rented from this location.

This has been by far my worst experience with Uhaul. I will NEVER use Uhaul again. They charged me for another months rent upon checking out WITHOUT authorization to use my card. I will be taking this up with my bank and Uhaul. This was the tip of the iceberg for my complaints with the facility.

The truck has some serious transmission issues. The brakes needed to be replaced. There wasn't any window cleaner or it just didn't work. Not really sure. I have rented from this location before but I have never had a truck in this bad of shape.

I reserved my truck & appliance dolly on a Tuesday for that following Saturday for me to pick up. They didn't have the truck I ordered NOR the appliance dolly. So they rented me a truck that had NO RAMP and they had NO appliance dolly. I reserved these items 4 days in advance. They had a man that was in line before me demand for a truck with a ramp to use for 2 hours... I believe they gave my truck reservation to that person due to the person got the truck and the dolly that I had reserved. I WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND UHAUL to any of my friends, family and will be posting this on my social media pages as this has been the worst experience I've ever received with uhaul. You have definitely lost a loyal customer.

The truck that i rented was in need some mechanical maintenance. The tpms light was on for practically the entire trip. The brakes weren't the greatest and the fan belt will be in need of replacement soon. Overall the truck just looks like it needs to be sold at auction. 130k miles have not been too kind.

Fix your online reservation system. When people reserve online, they expect to get the exact truck on the exact day at the exact location. Moving is stressful enough without being told that your reservation that was made a week ahead of time is not available for 100+ miles away. We had to settle for a very small truck in a smaller time frame in an inconvenient location. Fix it or don't allow online reservations that don't mean anything!!

We requested 2 furniture movers and the employee said "sorry we don't have any,but you can buy them from us". So you have them for sake but not for rent. Then they tried to over charge me for gas when the truck only traveled 11 miles.

Your online check out system is awful. It kicked me out 6 times while trying to show a photo of the odometer, thus causing me to be charged. I tried to call to get assistance but the wait was 60 minutes. I'm moving, I don't have time for this. Please stop taking advantage of people. It seems intentional on your end.

The inside staff is very rude, while I was working with a new person that was already being helped by another team member, Walter had to keep chiming in which was rude. I reserved dollys but when I went to pick up there wasn't any for me. I was told I would be charge the full amount and the money would not come out of my account until I return the truck however the money came out and I had to call for the refund. Also it was noted I didn't put enough gas in the truck but I did as I only went 25 miles in the truck so I am not for sure how I didn't have enough gas. If I use U haul again and that is a big if then I will make sure to take pictures before and after. To rent a 10' truck and drive it 25 miles it cost me 83 dollars which is crazy in my opinion.

Have rented cargo vans for years at this location & other U Haul locations using a debit card and this one time told it had to be credit card - didn't have one so they gave us a 17 foot truck with 183,000 that went 0-60 mph in about 3 minutes & I had to lift my wife into the truck because it had no steps

Improvement in cleaning the vehicles is suggested. When I opened the U-Haul, in the rear, I had to let the truck air out for about 2 hours because of a strong unknown order that smelled of gasoline, propane, or varnish.

The guy that waited on me was an a-hole. Very rude. Terrible customer service. Couldn't get his name because his badge was turned around. But he had a beard and missing several teeth. He acted like I was bothering him and I was the only person in the office at the time.

Uhaul was never cleaned. Very bad pear and cigarette smell. Ash gray had cigarette butts and ashes, windows were filthy, seats dirty, ceiling dirty, just everything absolutely gross. I would not recommend due to how nasty the uhaul was. It was so bad I felt I needed a shower after driving it 15 min home from pick up. Auto transport was scheduled for pick up at east oak st in Louisville KY location called to confirm pick up and there wasn't a auto transport returned yet. Called the next day and it still wasn't back. This is after numerous calls and failed answered and return calls. Finally the 800 number found one and got it to the Jeffersonville location and I could pick it up. This caused a delay in my travels and forced me to make a 16 hour drive in one shot straight through.

Staff was very unfriendly and frankly indifferent about anyone being there. The trailer was dirty and the pads were thrown in the trailer unfolded. They have the equipment but the last two times I went there both people were just short of rude, and offered no additional help. This last time was the manager! Will never go back! Would strongly suggest a mystery shop by corporate!

It was disconcerting & panic-inducing to arrive today, 07/01, to pick up the truck I had rented on Wednesday, 06/29, only to be informed that the store's records showed I rented a truck for 06/29. It was my oversight to not check the reservation date, but the Customer Rep and I discussed the need for the vehicle today, not the day the reservation was made. Fortunately, another truck was offered and though it was much larger than what I needed, I was able to get my job done.

We did not receive a dollie to move our boxes with. Also the seatbelt on the passenger side was strapped around the seat and we could not get it undone. Our passenger had to sit in the middle seat or else they would not have a seatbelt.

Maybe make CHECK-IN a little easier with a PRE-CHECK in page. Some Check-IN question could be answered online, before arriving for normal check-in. Otherwise everything went well!

Our storage building was broken into and no one from the facility contacted us to tell us. We went by one night to get something out of storage and found out our lock had been changed. It was after office hours so we had to come back the next day to find out why and to get in. That's when they told us they had some break-ins. They acted like it was no big deal and when we questioned them on why they didn't contact us they didn't say anything. Several things were stolen from our building. And if we filed a police report I'm sure we would never see these things again because we have no idea how long ago this happened because no one from the facility contacted us. We are very disappointed in our experience.

Unit was pretty dirty when I got it, Some of your staff in Clarksville, Indiana really need attitude adjustments. I needed a truck from that facility 2 different times and could not get one and the attitude I got was ridiculous I had to get a truck from Penske to unload my U-haul storage unit.

I had mice in my storage unit which got into all my storage boxes. I've had to disinfect and clean a huge number of boxes that had priceless items stored within them. This infestation occurred early on and there was obviously a large number of mice. I mentioned the mice to the staff.l, but all they said is they would set traps outside the unit and that was it. The price for my unit was rather high for storage. I missed one payment on time one time and paid it within days of missing. They sent me at least 5 letters in the mail about the same issue. One late notice should suffice or in the 21st century, a text would be more sensible.

I am amazed to be asked to rate my experience, both because the location is aware of the disastrous outcome of my stay and the total indifference to the situation exhibited at the time. The unit I rented, 264, was broken into and items taken. The replacement value of the stolen items, $450-500, far exceeds the difference I would have paid at a more reliable storage facility. No effort was made to inform me of the theft, nor any offer made to review the video record that is supposedly kept. When I discovered the break-in the staff acknowledged it but could not tell me exactly when it occurred, despite ubiquitous signage about "24-hour monitoring" and "no access without authorization". I don't expect any response or further action, given the lack of response when the theft was relatively fresh, but I will certainly not recommend or endorse this location.

Had over $13,000 worth of sneakers stolen from my unit. My lock wasn't tampered with. The walls in the unit don't even come up all the way to the ceiling, so people can go over the wall from unit to unit without even having to enter through the front. Absolutely ridiculous. I WILL NOT EVER recommend this location to anyone.

Several times during my rental interval, the gate was broken on the open position. Durinq the business day, the gate was left open. The unit had debris on the floor when I moved in and more debris, a mud dauber's nest, and numerous spider webs as the doors Were not wind proof, and the latching often stuck. My rent increased once in that interval with No improvements visible.

I had items stolen out of my storage unit. I went to tell the people in the office and they told me it has been happening lately and all I can do is call the police to file a police report. No customer service at all, not an I'm sorry that happened or anything. Every time, I went to my storage unit there was always trash just laying outside of it for weeks. I am aware that they didn't know it was going to happen but of course, all of the cameras were facing the other way. I am very disappointed and will never use UHaul again.

Overall good experience. However, there was no electricity to the outlet or light outside of our storage unit and the employee said that they didn't run electric to those outlets and won't ever do it.
