I would have rated Excellent except for a smoked cigarette butt laying on the front seat. Cab smelled of cigarette smoke too. Otherwise I had a good experience with renting a truckJEANNE K.

Some of the younger employees are not as engaged and customer-service oriented as I feel they should be. When I arrived to pickup the trailer and walked into the store, although there were no other customers I was not greeted but rather the young man behind the counter just stared at me as I approached him and only spoke after I greeted him. My rental order included furniture pads but they were not given to me. I had to return to the store to get them later. When I returned the trailer, again although there were no other customers, instead of someone coming out to unhitch the trailer I had to walk into the store. The 2 young men claimed they hadn't seen me pull in. Also the chain for the hitch was hanging lots and not arranged so that it would not drag on the ground and create sparks. Going forward I will make sure I supervise the hitching instead of assuming it will be done right. I am usually very satisfied with the service at this location but was a bit disappointed this time around.DENIECE M.

The truck I rented had a warning light that came on for a tire sensor. Also the key would not turn, you had to wiggle the steering wheel in order to crank the ignition. It seems that these are really small things to repair.KAWEEMAH M.

On the positive side the truck was available at the time I needed it, and it didn't break down. Otherwise it was never verbalized to me all the additional fees, such a clean fee, enviornmental fee, renewal fee, etc. I was told if I brought it back after hours that I could access the link provided to return the truck without a charge, otherwise $20.00. I attempted several times to open the link and answer the questions and mileage, but each time it told me that it could NOT locate me, although I was in the Uhaul parking lot. This went on for over 30 minutes. I gave up on that and called the local help #, and she could not help and transferred to another #, and I was put on hold for at least 10 minutes in the parking lot, and out of utter frustration put the key through the door and left, still on hold and drove home another 15 minutes and was still on holdwhen I finally gave up. Of course I was charged the $20.00 on the final bill. Also, I was NOT provided a dolly as promised which made moving difficult. iN CONCLUSION BE ASSURED i WILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN, AND WILL RELATE THIS STORY TO WHOEVER I CAN. MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD.DAVID P.

Improve the ease of overnight check in with and devices. I spent at least 20 minutes trying to return my vehicle using my phone but was never able to. Thankfully my wife was there to pick me up so I used her iPhone and was able to go through the return process with ease. This has nothing to do with my rating of the location overall or the staff. Definetly the best moving trucks Ive ever driven. Easy to handle and manuever.The cabin was a little dirty when I picked it up but nothing too bad even though I checked off clean up above.The dolly is tied to its docking station with small weak zip ties and they broke while driving the truck a small dresser slide and pushed on it and they broke you need better way to secure your dolly. I have my own however Uhaul may try and charge customers if this happen accusing customer of using dolly when they didnt.The contactless is definetly way to go as its always been my experience that if you only have 1 or 2 customers in front of you in the store your wait will be an hour to 1.5 hours . Its a very slow process. But still hands down U haul has the best trucks. The bill has some 39.99 charge I didnt see originally hiden in bill ,also sign out front store says free mobile drop off they charged me 14.00. Thank you James ColgateJames C.

My reservation was cancelled, by uhaul, and rescheduled. My in-laws flew into town to drive the truck and then had to stay for 2 extra days while waiting for a truck. Communication from uhaul was extremely poor. Text messages said one thing and emails would say another. This was the worst rental experience I've ever had. The woman from support that I spoke with on the phone fully admitted uhaul was taking more reservations than they could actually honor with the trucks the company has on hand. The staff at this location was less than helpful, but I can only assume from the long line of angry customers with cancelled reservations, that the staff is helpless to actually do anything about it. My scheduled appointment was at 10:30 AM for a cargo van and I was made to wait for 40 minutes before they could talk to me. Poor customer service. Inconsistencies with information given to me from employees. Problems (2) with vehicle. RIght tire was low. Had to continue adding air, AND I only driver 24 miles on this trip. Steering wheel kept locking to point it would not crank when key was put into transmission. I had to jiggle key in ignition fir one hour, and still did not crank. We originally had our pickup for Loganville ga and it was switched to Snellville without us knowing. So this change cost us more miles making our rental more expensive. That's not right when we had a confirmed rental in Loganville. I think that uhaul should have comped the extra miles. I'll go with a different company next time.JOHN C.

Nothing major wrong and were easy to miss. The fan control knob on the A/C was missing. Not a big deal as it was hot outside and the fan was on high. A biggie for me was one of the rails inside the box was coming lose. Not good for securing the load. This is a great location and has improved over the years. This is the best crew yet. We rented the truck for 1 day only. I returned it at 7:30 am Called to pay and no answer for 3 hours. When they finally answered they had already pushed the card. He said it declined. So I paid over the phone with another card. He kept making mistakes. I called to check my card and he charged me for 2 days and my other card did go through also. So I was charged 3x's for just a 1 day rental. It caused problems w On other transactions I had in process. I feel I should be refunded everything for the inconvenience on other transactions. Instead of a 10x10 that I reserved I was given two separate 5x5 that a matter was doesn’t fit in. We were given two 5X5 spaces as there were no 10x10’s available when we turned in our truck. We were told we could consolidate both units into one and at that time would only pay for one unit the following month. However when we informed the employee we wanted to pay for the following month for the one unit we were told by the employee and his manager that we could not do that and would have to either move to another unit or pay for both. We were given two different prices and No One, including the manager even bothered to apologize for the misinformation their employee gave to us. My reservation couldn't be found on the computer until I showed the reservation I had on my phone. The young man was truly helpful but as I heard him talking to his manager to help him with working the system the manager was rude. When he asked if I can get the free month she adamantly said no and I still had to pay extra for the additional storage. With all the aggravation the least the manager for this location could have done was work with us better to help instead of sounding irritated with her employee for contacting her and not honoring the first month free promotion online.
