The lady that helped me at the counter was FANTASTIC! As was the gentleman that helped load up the trailers. Unfortunately there is someone that doesn't know how to park their rentals and required me to drag the trailer out of the mud to use it. I had no choice as I needed it that day. TAKE AND MAINTAIN INVENTORY! If you know someone made a reservation well in advance of the pick up day and reserved dollies in the afternoon, don't allow other people to purchase them as add-ons. The representative literally told us they have all the other dollies away earlier. Then "magically" found one. As we are walking out to get it, someone else grabbed it!!! Another representative literally just sold THE MAGICALLY FOUND DOLLY to the guy right next to us. Utterly ridiculous and poor management and poor customer service in my opinion.Timothy H.

We returned our trailer rental in the morning of Friday, Dec 24th, around 10 AM, to Uhaul Storage on Ogeechee Rd, Savannah. The black man unhooked it and told us he would check us out, send us an email receipt, and we could leave. We never got an email until I received the one stating you charged us $29.96 for an extra day. You people did this to us when we rented the truck on Dec 7th and charged us $20 for returning it after hours, which we did not do. I called Uhaul and my credit card company and you refunded it. Well, you dang well better refund this charge and I promise you this, we will NEVER rent from you again.DEBORAH S.

I did the online check in, at 9am when my uhaul rental was scheduled for pick up however I still had to wait in line for an hour and a half for my truck. Meaning I was not able to start unpacking my storage unit at the facility until 10:30 which is absolutely unacceptable when there is an option to schedule a pick up at a specific time. What if I had hired movers? I would have had to pay them for 1.5 hours of time they would not be working which is a waste of my time and money. It is absolutely absurd. In Addition when I went to drive the truck at night (in the dark) I discovered that the dashboard lights did not work so none of the gauges, including the speedometer and gas gauges, did not light up. Meaning I had no idea when I would run out of gas or how fast I was going which is so incredibly unsafe and very illegal. Overall I am incredibly dissatisfied with uhaul and would never recommend them to anyone I know who is moving.Zara B.
Truck needed a battery jump the day we were leaving. Called for assistance: we waited 5 HOURS for a simple battery jump! We could have been at our destination already! Was promised extra day that didn't show up in our agreement. I gave up and called AAA, who only took 30 min to arrive and we were on our way! Worst experience I have EVER had with U-Haul, I have had to move myself Many times over the last 16 years in the military and this was the by far the worst. Truck was filthy, and smelled horrible. I found vape cartridges and had to clean what I HOPE was mud off of the driver door handle, inside of the driver door, steering wheel and gear Column. I was told that I would get a free month of storage for ALL of everything in my 26ft box truck. Yet when I got to my destination that was not the case, I had to go to another uhaul location and only to be told they couldn't accommodate me either. After driving 12 hrs and going to 2 different uhaul locations I was told I had to drive to another location they had an opening but I would have to pay, but it would t fit all of the stuff in my 26ft. In the end, I had to drive to 2 different Public Storage locations in the area to find a unit for my stuff and pay almost $300 for a unit. This is unacceptable.DAVID G.

I rented a pickup truck. I didn't know how to let the gate down. After you push the buttown, I didn't know you needed to stop back from it. I called to inquire, in which they told me to push the button but didn't tell me to stop away from it in order for it to function properly. Please remind them to be very specific to the next customer. Maybe invest in a few more vehicles, I wanted to re-rent the truck I used but it wasn't available. Otherwise all was well. Regarding the staff: Da’rian (he works with the trucks) and his trainee, helped us from the moment we walked in, and they were courteous and very willing to work us. They were way more helpful than the clerks whose job is was to handle storage facilities. The two clerks, a young lady and man, were slow and disconnected from us. At one point, I had no idea the young man was speaking to me because he and the young lady were laughing and joking like there was some kind of inside joke we weren’t privy to. It was uncomfortable for me as a patron. Finally, he asked me directly to give him a code. I had no idea he wanted this from me because he was just saying “four digit number” without directly addressing me. The two clerks weren’t outright rude, but their demeanor and the looks they gave each other made it seem like we were the focus of a joke. Again, it was really uncomfortable for my husband and me and not how customers should be made to feel after spending nearly $200 in their facility. Additionally, when they learned that I had rented a 5x5x7 locker, they immediately tried to upsell me on a larger locker, which is fine, I wanted the next size up, but there were none available. And the only storage locker, besides the one we were renting, was way too big for what we needed. When we asked to see our locker, we’re were told again it was small, like a linen closet or a pantry. Again, I realize upselling is a part of the sales process, but they had nothing else to offer me that was suitable for my needs. I asked if there was a waiting list for the larger size, and instead of speaking to me, she told Da’rian, “I don’t think they do that.” Now, after all the upselling the young lady was trying to do, she wouldn’t ask if there was a waiting list for a larger locker. Again, she didn’t directly engage me—the customer—and at that point we had been there about 45 minutes, so I didn’t have anymore time to waste hunting down that answer. Also, we had purchased 10 boxes, but no one came out to the floor to assist us. My husband had to cut the plastic straps himself, and we literally could’ve taken as many boxes as we wanted since nobody was paying attention to us or assisting us with this part of our purchase. We just took our 10 boxes and left—we addressed them by thanking them and saying goodbye, but we didn’t receive any salutation from the staff.Matthew T. | First Impressions
