No issues with location as they were helpful! My problem is with the ubox experience in general. I don't think I will ever use this service again. Very hard to get help from phone or online support. The car hauler does not work for golf carts as they are only 31 inches wide inside tire.sidney T.
The employees were very kind and helpful. However, I was originally given a truck that was repossessed and FULL of trash. The employee I worked with was great and helped me get a new truck, but because of that mistake it took over an hour to pick up the truck, when I was supposed to have contactless pick up. They were also VERY understaffed and there was a huge line of people waiting for over an hour. I heard one employee on the phone begging people to come in on their days off because it was so busy and they were struggling. When returning the truck I was also given the wrong truck information and was almost charged $19,000 for the incorrect milage! Luckily the man helping me took care of this - but if I hadn't returned the truck early and dropped it off like I'd planned, I would have been charged $19,000. These mistakes wouldn't happen if there was adequate staffing.ASHLEY F.

Mr. Page upon the return of the vehicle and Mr. Paterson who strived to rectify the the beginning rental experience were the best parts of this place. I understand this pandemic has individuals on edge and companies lacking workers, but customer service is paramount at all times in your industry. The young lady with short locs, who refused to give me her name after being rude, after miscommunication between the store and headquarters needs to return to customer service 101. She's most definitely lacking in that area! The vehicle had a horrid stench, as well as pest infestation. I rent from this location often for my business and I will say this was by far one of the worst experiences. The unit was in need of maintenance. The cable on the back door had broken strands. The alignment was also off. The unit had a pull to the right. Revisit the refusal to use the Department of Driver Service temporary driver's license. As a driver we do not have control of the length of time it takes to get the actual card.Lorne G.

The woman who was at the counter at 5:00pm was unkept, rude, and abusive. She was not wearing a name tag. She seemed to not understand the computer system and worked at a very slow pace. Mr. Patterson, the other person at the counter was professional and competent. When I asked for the name of the woman that I am complaining about, no one would supply it. Staff needs to know how to address a customer upon arriving on property. Seven people all over the place and only one greeted me. No friendly at all. First trailer had some homeless people items in the back of it. Wasted too much time changing it out. Manager didn't offer an apology nor a discount for the trailer not being ready. I spent too much time on your lot just to rent a trailer. Tried to make a reservation days before but the Manager informed me that I didn't have to make a reservation; we have plenty trailers to rent. We had to rent a truck and auto transport because our hitch part wasn't in. It was impossible to close out my units using the online system. I got auto responses that it was being handled but yet nothing happened. I often could not get through to the local office and corporate office didn't have control over what needed to be done. I was billed late fees both times and it took me several hours to handle closing my accounts. Regarding the staff: Da'rian (he works with the trucks) and his trainee, helped us from the moment we walked in, and they were courteous and very willing to work us. They were way more helpful than the clerks whose job is was to handle storage facilities. The two clerks, a young lady and man, were slow and disconnected from us. At one point, I had no idea the young man was speaking to me because he and the young lady were laughing and joking like there was some kind of inside joke we weren't privy to. It was uncomfortable for me as a patron. Finally, he asked me directly to give him a code. I had no idea he wanted this from me because he was just saying "four digit number" without directly addressing me. The two clerks weren't outright rude, but their demeanor and the looks they gave each other made it seem like we were the focus of a joke. Again, it was really uncomfortable for my husband and me and not how customers should be made to feel after spending nearly $200 in their facility. Additionally, when they learned that I had rented a 5x5x7 locker, they immediately tried to upsell me on a larger locker, which is fine, I wanted the next size up, but there were none available. And the only storage locker, besides the one we were renting, was way too big for what we needed. When we asked to see our locker, we're were told again it was small, like a linen closet or a pantry. Again, I realize upselling is a part of the sales process, but they had nothing else to offer me that was suitable for my needs. I asked if there was a waiting list for the larger size, and instead of speaking to me, she told Da'rian, "I don't think they do that." Now, after all the upselling the young lady was trying to do, she wouldn't ask if there was a waiting list for a larger locker. Again, she didn't directly engage me-the customer-and at that point we had been there about 45 minutes, so I didn't have anymore time to waste hunting down that answer. Also, we had purchased 10 boxes, but no one came out to the floor to assist us. My husband had to cut the plastic straps himself, and we literally could've taken as many boxes as we wanted since nobody was paying attention to us or assisting us with this part of our purchase. We just took our 10 boxes and left-we addressed them by thanking them and saying goodbye, but we didn't receive any salutation from the staff.Matthew T. | First Impressions

I had a reservation for my storage unit as well as drop off location for the truck rental, I called to confirm my order by calling gouhaul.com and was setup with a 1 bedroom unit when I clearly requested a unit for a 2 bedroom home with living room furniture and appliances , I was also told that I couldn't use the location as my drop off location, only for my storage unit.when the location is in fact a drop off spot.
