Don't give a truck with a tire light on and actually stay open until 5 so when you are due to return the truck at 5 you can take it back. The rude employee literally stood inside behind the locked glass door at 4:55 and shouted "We're closed!" at me and the other people there trying to return our trucks. I had to download and use the app to return it and the app kept crashing so I had to restart from the beginning every time and take pictures over again every time. Incredibly frustrating. Unacceptable experience and based on this experience I wouldn't ever want to use Uhaul again even though I've been a repeat customer over the years.Jennifer G.

Leaving the city, the lights of the uhaul turned off, we called road assistance and wait for an hour and a half for nothing, the next day in the other city, other uhaul store couldn't change us the trailer or resolved the problem. Then when I brought back the trailer nobody was in the store in Savannah and charged me for an extra day, I called again customer service and they told me someone from uhaul will call me and fix the issue but not, nobody call me they just charged me. I used uhaul before, but the service in this occasion for this trailer and then the extra charged were not something expected.JOSHUA W.

I dropped off two trucks and waited for around 10 minutes and nobody even acknowledged my presence. I went in and was told to flag down someone outside and yet there was nobody to be found. I went back inside where i was made to feel like i was interrupting personal conversations and was told i could leave. I got a bill for two additional transactions totaling around 200 dollars shortly after. I called multiple times to inquire about the charges only to be on hold for over 20 minutes each time. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card for both transactions as my invoice did not really explain the charges and there is nobody who wants to answer the phone at this locationjorge C.
I had reserved a 8' pickup truck for mobile pickup but there was none available when I arrived. The associate who helped me was wonderful, and she did an amazing job making sure I was still able to get something else (I wish I got her name) but she really worked hard to help make things work for me despite this location being extremely busy. She got me set up with a big 10' truck instead and it got the job done.Larissa G.

Nobody was helpful at this location. The lady at the counter was super rude. We couldn't locate the key drop-off. Nobody was helping us find it. we just kept going around asking for help. Key Dropbox was nothing like shown on the Uhaul video. We didn't know where to leave dolly and blankets, we kept asking for those too, nobody was even talking properly. Regarding the staff: Da'rian (he works with the trucks) and his trainee, helped us from the moment we walked in, and they were courteous and very willing to work us. They were way more helpful than the clerks whose job is was to handle storage facilities. The two clerks, a young lady and man, were slow and disconnected from us. At one point, I had no idea the young man was speaking to me because he and the young lady were laughing and joking like there was some kind of inside joke we weren't privy to. It was uncomfortable for me as a patron. Finally, he asked me directly to give him a code. I had no idea he wanted this from me because he was just saying "four digit number" without directly addressing me. The two clerks weren't outright rude, but their demeanor and the looks they gave each other made it seem like we were the focus of a joke. Again, it was really uncomfortable for my husband and me and not how customers should be made to feel after spending nearly $200 in their facility. Additionally, when they learned that I had rented a 5x5x7 locker, they immediately tried to upsell me on a larger locker, which is fine, I wanted the next size up, but there were none available. And the only storage locker, besides the one we were renting, was way too big for what we needed. When we asked to see our locker, we're were told again it was small, like a linen closet or a pantry. Again, I realize upselling is a part of the sales process, but they had nothing else to offer me that was suitable for my needs. I asked if there was a waiting list for the larger size, and instead of speaking to me, she told Da'rian, "I don't think they do that." Now, after all the upselling the young lady was trying to do, she wouldn't ask if there was a waiting list for a larger locker. Again, she didn't directly engage me-the customer-and at that point we had been there about 45 minutes, so I didn't have anymore time to waste hunting down that answer. Also, we had purchased 10 boxes, but no one came out to the floor to assist us. My husband had to cut the plastic straps himself, and we literally could've taken as many boxes as we wanted since nobody was paying attention to us or assisting us with this part of our purchase. We just took our 10 boxes and left-we addressed them by thanking them and saying goodbye, but we didn't receive any salutation from the staff.Matthew T. | First Impressions

My rental time was 9 a.m. when they opened and I got there at 8:50. I was second in line and still didn't get my rental until 9:35. We rented a 10 ft truck and I had a family member coming along with me. The passenger seat belt was broken on the truck and the employees tried to tell us that we just had to take this truck because all of the other trucks were â€œreservedâ€. We had to argue with the employees about getting a new truck. We had lots of attitude after that. The second truck they gave us, the seat retractor (handle that moves the seat forward and back) was broken and the check engine light was on. When I came back to return the truck I'm the afternoon I waited 15 minutes for an employee to show up and come inside behind the desk to help us and the other people waiting in line. Improve your website and phone reservations. I called twice to make a reservation. Twice my request was incorrect. Once they had me picking up the truck in NC when I live in GA. I had a reservation for my storage unit as well as drop off location for the truck rental, I called to confirm my order by calling gouhaul.com and was setup with a 1 bedroom unit when I clearly requested a unit for a 2 bedroom home with living room furniture and appliances , I was also told that I couldn't use the location as my drop off location, only for my storage unit.when the location is in fact a drop off spot. The employees want to do a good job. But, I rented a space that I never was able to use because their was another vehicle parked in that space. I always had to park in a space other than the one I rented. The code to raise the gate seldom worked. Infact most of the time the gate was just left open during business hours because it didn't work. When I went inside to get help there was always a long wait to get any help so I usually just gave up and left. You have a nice facility. You have good employees that want to do a good job.
