fuel in truck was very low, The remote check-out process was a little hard to follow - I started the experience from the website selecting to check in vehicle. Did not have (or I missed where) to record mileage and fuel level. So was unsure if I was going to be charged the manual check-in fee. the fee was not charged so all is good.Jerome H.

This location is trying to charge me $357.62 to wash the trailer they also charged me 7 extra days and coverage of $210 when the trailer was returned before the due date. They charged my credit card without my consent and I will be reporting a fraudulent charge to the credit card company. Bad enough the trailer was stolen because of no ability to lock it to the hitch with all my items and now I get a $629.36 charge which should be covered by the insurance I purchased. I will never recommend U haul to anybody.Peter E.

systems and your head office is a problem...poor return deposit policy because of your year end march 31st you could not provide my deposit back ... now chq needs to come from head office like really ? further...was forced to call in while booking unit ... 20 minutes on hold mix up and in the end it was a system error ... like really ? get your shit together as a company stop wasting my time .... this is not complicated stop making it complicated .... why would i need to wait six weeks to get my security deposit back .... very unprofessional and amateur in your systems.... this is how you piss off customers ..... so .... you asked and i provided responseCraig K.

The truck tires were bald not good for winter driving and very dangerous. Need to upgrade those. The vehicle also seemed pretty old, screamed while driving. Windshield wipers needed repair. It got the job done but was kinda scary to drive.Viviane B.

I noted to the employees when I dropped the truck off that the engine light was on when I received the truck. The employees seemed unphased. The truck drove without any issues, but the check engine light is not what I want to see when I first hop into a rental. Otherwise, the location was clean, the truck was clean and ran well.Daniel S.
Have the trailer wiring inspected before it goes out to a customer, my rental had problems and it was very obvious to me the wiring casing shorted out. Causing me to blow fuses at night, but i fixed it outta my own pocket so the next person doesnt have to worry. Youre welcome uhaul.Kevin K.

The truck was dirty on the outside, windows were dirty and made it difficult to see the side mirrors in the bright sun, which made it very dangerous. When I got there my booking was mixed up, they had me only renting until 1pm when I had said I needed it for 24 hours. On top of this they ended up giving me a larger truck and charged me more than what I was quoted in the smaller truck I had wanted. Overall I was not impressed.ken M.

Was quick and painless, relatively anyway. Placed a reservation online and was supposedly booked for a 17-foot truck. I ordered on a Thursday evening and was called first thing Friday morning. They didn't have a 17-foot truck available but had a 15-foot readily available. I needed a truck so I went with it. Luckily everything fit in fine with the 15-footer and I likely wouldn't have needed the 17-footer but still, why book the reservation if the equipment isn't available. This might be one thing U-haul could improve on for the next customer. Other than that, the location was great. Alice was quite eager to help at 7 AM on a Saturday morning when I was barely awake. Location 5/5 but 3/5 for the online booking service.Joshua C.

Trailers need to be cleaned and garbage removed before renting to next customer, also, in the winter time, tire pressure has to be checked, the tires on the trailer were underinflated and I had to stop and refill them.Troy C.

I was told when I picked up the trailer in Saskatoon I could return it In Timmins (where I was going) called the number provided prior to drop off and the woman told me I couldnt t drop it off there I had to take it an hour the opposite direction. So it took me two hours to drop the trailer off and get back to where I needed to be when I shoulda been working.Vincent V.

Staff should always clean vehicles as soon as they are dropped off. I had to remind them to sanitize the vehicle. I was handed the keys of an unsanitized vehicle, I then pointed out that it needs attention before it was done. Also, warming the vehicle prior to arrival is not a bad idea because of the cold winter season. Then the tires of the pick up truck I hired are not firm to grip. My heart kept skipping anytime the tires skips and the vehicle would literally move in an opposite direction as a unit. Scary stuff indeed! I drove on same route with my car that has good winter tires and never experienced what I just narrated now. So for a vehicle that is used for business, premium should be placed on safety and cleanliness. Nevertheless, staff experience aside the cleaning aspect was not totally bad.Emmanuel A.

I had reserved a utility dolly with a 10' truck a month in advance, and when I got there to pick it up they had no dolly! The woman there wanted me to pay more for an appliance dolly but I reserved this a WHOLE MONTH IN ADVANCE! THIS IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVED WHEN YOU HAVE A RESERVATION!!! I had to argue with her to get the same price! Then when I finally got what I needed, I got in the truck and adjusted the seat but the seat had not locked in place and I didn't realise it until I got on the highway and had to slow down really fast for a traffic accident and my seat was sliding back and forth! I pulled over to adjust it again bit it would not lock in place unless I set it at a point too far for me to properly and safely reach the steering wheel and pedals. I won't be going back to this location again. When I returned the truck, the guy who helped me was very fast, efficient, and kind. I was out within 10 minutes upon leaving but when I arrived for pickup it took almost an hour.Elizabeth A.
Had a pretty sleazy experience. Went to pick up truck. Was told "got some bad news... The truck is barely above empty. But if you full it to one quarter we'll give you a 25 dollar credit." I said "one quarter??that's probably 100$ in this truck?! ... Agent shrugs shoulders and says, that's how we do it at Uhaul. I guess they're looking for some sap who thinks a quarter tank of gas in a 26ft moving truck will be less than $25 and then gets stuck putting $100 in only to be told they just donated $75 to this Uhaul location. Like I said... Pretty sleazy move. Not to mention irresponsible. I left the Uhaul location on fumes.Gerald E.

I was very impressed with how easy the truck was to drive even in the city. I also had no trouble with it on the highway. I had only rented a 15 foot box. i reserved a 10*14 unit about a month ahead and called few times later to confirm it as I was bringing stuff from a small town 2 hours away and didn't want any disappointment. each time I called staff confirmed my reservation. even on the date of move I called the facility and the lady on staff confirmed the reservation and didn't mention anything about it being not available. few hours later when i reached the facility they said unit was not available, I had to cram my stuff into a smaller unit of 10*10 and ultimately had to buy another unit 10*5 additionally paying 80$. Also staff didn't' offer any insurance despite asking multiple times. now some of my cushions are permanently damaged and I request U-HAUL to pay my damages and reduce the the rental fee.
