I was very impressed with how easy the truck was to drive even in the city. I also had no trouble with it on the highway. I had only rented a 15 foot box. The self checkout process for rentals takes too long. Lots of these steps for verifying the rental can be done prior to arrival onsite to collect the vehicle. All in, the process took approximately 15-20 minutes before I could collect keys and be on my way. I would like to see this process streamlined for next time because this service is great otherwise.Corey H.

give them a decent vehicle with a set of tires that are practical for saskatchewan. Also let customers now when they are at the rental desk that U-haul does not recommend driving in snow. Also please change documentation on contract to indicate that every tow with U-haul is "situational" so they will happily leave you in the lurch. The morning pick up was a little long as there was only one staff member at the counter. However I know the person in front of me was over 30 min late for their registered pickup. If all customers showed up at their scheduled pickup time I'm sure things would have went a lot faster. Thanks for making a stressful day of moving a lot easier by having clean reliable equipment in stock and ready to go! The app did not work - it did not accept uploads for some of my pictures and it wasn't obvious when it would / would not work. I had to walk into the store to pickup my truck. The equipment we originally rented was not ready - meaning we had to do our large move by hand. The staff was very friendly, the truck was clean, and things ran smoothly otherwise.Micheal L.
There were no suggestions as to how to save me money. It was all about the company getting money. Even up the overcharge on 6 miles. A little over $2 added because the estimate of mileage was short. Also Making a round trip so the vehicle would be returned would be nice to have a deal as such or something. It's obvious that this is all just for profit. Before I went to the location, I filled out the enitre online reservation form, including payment with my credit card. When I arrived at the location, I mentioned to the representative that I had done the onlinge reservation. Howevver, the rep proceeded to put me through the reservation process. At one point I stopped him and asked him why we were doing this again, when I had done it all online. He siad he needed to verify the information. This was very frustrating, as the process took a long time and it was redundant. Not sure why there would be an online reservation ption and then one has to go through it in person again. Truck exterior was filthy, interior was average. No scraper was offerred and the windshield & side windows had heavy frost on them. CSR was polite but was not wearing her mask properly (nose was exposed).Jason B.

i reserved a 10*14 unit about a month ahead and called few times later to confirm it as I was bringing stuff from a small town 2 hours away and didn't want any disappointment. each time I called staff confirmed my reservation. even on the date of move I called the facility and the lady on staff confirmed the reservation and didn't mention anything about it being not available. few hours later when i reached the facility they said unit was not available, I had to cram my stuff into a smaller unit of 10*10 and ultimately had to buy another unit 10*5 additionally paying 80$. Also staff didn't' offer any insurance despite asking multiple times. now some of my cushions are permanently damaged and I request U-HAUL to pay my damages and reduce the the rental fee. Ensure the fleet is maintained for rental. My unit was not not road worthy, driver side back signal light was out. I had to wait an additional hour for my 15' truck rental to be ready. No body explained anything to me about process. I am very disappointed with this location and the service the attendant provided. The other 2 attendants tried their best to help. I didn't get the first attendant's name. I arrived @10:50 for pick up as I had completed all necessary documentation on line. I expect a discount.Cheryl G.
When I picked up the trailer the exterior was extremely dirty. There was 3 beside that were nicely clean. When I rent something I would expect a clean unit. Had to find towels to wipe my hands just to open the door.Denis L.

Truck wasn't filthy but not clean like a rental should be, There should be no visible old dirt on the floors or dash which there was. I was also very shocked and upset to see my charge of $140 based of $1.10 per mile and not 69 cents per km. That was not clearly explained at the pickup so I'm a bit frustrated.Dion D.

The only comment I would have is to identify where the drop off location is so after parking there will not be a need to move the trailer again to a spot on the lot. Luckily the lot was open and not difficult to maneuver a towed trailer. Also, the fact that I had to help unhook the trailer, not something I expected with my bad back.shawn S.

Brutal location even after they changed my timeline from 24 hours down to 6 hours because they oversold we couldnt do the mobile pickup therefore had to wait 2 hours later to pick up truck then I agreed to bring the truck back by 6pm when we brought it back we found a lost soul Who had booked a truck similar to us but upon arrival it said his truck was no longer available we waited in the cold with him for 45 minutes bc he asked to take ours since we had the keys but we didn't want to have insurance issues so in the middle of a pandemic we invited him into the car just to stay warm after being on hold for 45 minutes with your company. I would not recommend you order online ever. The lady 548-773-5588 clearly did not know what she was doing in Edmonton. She told me that all the trucks were booked up and I would have to pickup a Truck in Humboldt which is 2 hour south east of Saskatoon. She also told me I would have to pick up a trailer 2 hours north east of Saskatoon. When I arrived at the Millar Ave location there where all kinds of Trucks and trailers. I ended up getting what I booked online, however I was over charged due to Edmonton's big screw up with my online order.Florence F.
I was charged $8.90 extra for gas and only travelled 19kms. I also put in $5.00 gas and they still charged me extra. Manager I spoke to said he would look into it and I still have not heard from him as he said he would get back to me. I have told all my friends to NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING, they are a rip off outfit. Bloody sad isn't it for a company that is this large, make up your own conclusions but guess why they are so large, definitely not from customer service and a good corporate citizens company are they?????? The lady when I picked up the truck, what not very knowledgeable about where I was dropping off the truck. I asked for Wynyard sk. She was good with it. Problem being Wynyard is not open. I had to drive the truck to the next drop off location I really pain in the butt. I got charged for the gas and mileage which I feel I shouldn't have to as it wasn't my fault she didn't know Wynyard was closed. VKelley B.
