After reviewing receipt, I'm trying to understand why I was charged $5 for furniture pads which I did not use, didn't realize I even had them on truck. If that is procedure to get extra $ out of rental, it is very deceptive.Ralph P.

My comment is about the gentleman who assisted me in picking up the truck and returned it. He was very unprofessional as all he was focusing on is the lady who assisted me on the 6th. His comments was she was not supposed to do what she did that's my position I am the assistant manager. She's only the manager for a portion and I am her boss. Then my card wasn't working to get in and out to empty my storage and he started with his attitude. I'll give j a mark of -100 on the scale of 1to 10. Did not check in vehicle when returned so I was charged an additional day. Also, SmartPhone App did not work. Tried it on 2 different phones and neither would let me take photo to auto check in with app. Left keys with customer service rep at 6:45 PM and check-in time was noted as 10:45 the NEXT DAY do I was charged an extra $45 +/- and had to spend 2 hours on hold with customer service. The storage manager was very helpful who is a lady but don't remember her name. But when I went to pick up the truck to empty my storage on the 8th the facility assistant manager who was a gentleman he was very very disrespectful. He takes about the lady who helped me on the 6th real bad he said she should have never do what she did also his inter act with me was awful. My card didn't work to get me back and forth get every trip I made. The guy who was doing the vehicle cleaning etc had to help me. The so called assistant manager was so bad I refuse to ask him any more questions. Don't remember his name but in a rating of 1 to 10 I gave him a -50. Most employees seemed poorly trained and the facility always seemed understaffed. Storage room itself was secure and clean and never had difficulty accessing it. I've used Uhaul for many years and they have always been pretty good most of the time. But when I chose uhaul ubox for a long haul move the experience was not up to par. The location where I had dropped my ubox off was not suitable, they plain out said they have no experience with ubox, and then they somehow canceled my ubox from shipping pushing pack my life 2 weeks without any of my personal belongings which totaled 4 weeks no belongings. Uhaul needs to train all there employees better and really focus on the people they are hiring. I was absolutely furious finding out my ubox wasn't even sent the day before it was sapposed to arrive at my location. Very poor store management. The regional manager had to step in to at least figure out what happened. This should never happen to anyone moving. Four weeks living out of a suitcase, with a baby. All I got was the 50$ Dollar a day reimbursement from the date it was supposed to arrive to the date it arrived.. a big 400$ off.. thank you Uhaul.Imran H.

The windshield, windows, (inside AND out) and outside mirrors were so filthy that I had to stop at a rest area to buy window cleaner and paper towels to clean everything for a long and expensive one day trip to VT and back. Didn't appreciate that I had to do this myself in order to properly see clearly. The wipers also need to be replaced. Enroute on my trip, I had reached out to this location with questions about the vehicle, only to get bumped to the call center. I was told a message would be sent and that I would get a call back. I never received any call back. Trying to get through to this particular call center was impossible. Very unorganized. Truck wasnt where I was told... had to wait for someone to bring me a truck, never cleaned/sanitzed it after they got out and then, truck had no gas. Had to wait for a 2nd truck again npt sanitized after they got out... my 9:30 reservation got me off the lot just past 10:00. I had opted for the smartphone pickup option. However, it was not going well and I needed to go inside for pickup AND I was in a big rush to leave. I was a bit abrasive to the man working as I asked him to help me get my truck quickly. I was supposed to get 6 moving pads. Not sure if I was charged but did not receive. Our moving routine changed a little making it much more convenient to return the truck to the original pick up spot. I small price difference would be expected for making the change but the extra charge was exorbitant. Leaving us to travel far out of our way in order to keep the original plan. Staff seemed insufficiently trained. One couldn't log in successfully and gave up and left. Another took over and had problem after problem doing the contract. A more knowledgeable employee eventually joined to help, with marginal success. The ID scanner was missing, her phone wouldn't work for taking pictures instead, the computer wasn't working right, the signature tablet was displaying info from the prior customer, and on and on. It was a disaster, took almost an hour just to get a pickup for an hour rental. Service was friendly enough, though.BRUCE W.

For two years I had oil, pink in color dripping into my unit. Each time I complained, the oil was cleaned, but they never fixed the problem at it's source. Each time claiming they couldn't locate the owner of the init above me. In May 2020, I paid for May & June storage. At end of May myself & husband went to get some items out of the unit. The pink oil was again dripping into my unit. We had to clean it ourselves... then we just took everything out and terminated our storage. I asked for a refund of June rent, I was told I had to speak to the manager, so I left a message for him to call. He never called. I tried calling him and just got a recording with no option to leave a message. The Salisbury UHaul is filthy and there is no resolution to problems... alot of my personal belongings were damaged and had to be discarded.
