Excellent staff!
David C.Fix your website to enable information download in a quick and efficient way. I arrived at the Rutland, Vt depot to be told I couldn't drive the van as I only had an overseas license and didn't have my passport with me. This was despite the fact that I have rented from uhaul on previous occasions.

Representative a young lady was very nice and extraordinarily helpful and honest I accidentally left a package in the truck that contained a large amount of cash as I was buying and picking up equipment locally I accidentally left that package in the cab and she returned it to me when she reviewed the truck when it was brought back Thankfully she gave it back to me and I didn't lose a large sum of money that I would've lost probably if she was not looking for it and displayed such honesty. 5 StArs.

Ronald S.The humans involved in the process were fine. The "reservation" process is a sham. U-Haul changed location at the last minute to a site 1 1/2 hours away. Every step of the transaction was changed. read the fine print, they say. U-Haul can improve by keeping their word when committing to a reservation - that is the word that was used in my "confirmation" email.

Susan D L.After reserving exactly 30 days before I needed the trailer, per UHaul online reservations, I was called 2 days before and told That they didn't have a trailer at my location in Burlington, VT, but that I had to drive TWO HOURS to Rutland, VT to get it. It completely screwed up my travel plans and cost me an additional $75 in gas to go get the trailer. This is outrageous-I will not be using or recommending UHaul due to this deceptive practice.
Gregory S.rental was in Burlington, 2 days before pickup we were notified that the pickup was 80 miles away,, and the truck i ordered was not available had to get a larger truck and arrange a ride 1-1/2 hours away.

Darrell S.The location of this U-Haul business is great for visibility as advertising is considered but it is too small. U-Haul has outgrown this location. Very tight quarters. Although moving is an expense that may not be feasible. Is there space behind you to rent or buy?

Brooks D.We were happy with the newness of the vehicle and cleanliness. The pick up of the vehicle was difficult as I had to back it nearly all the way around the building in order to get out. Not convenient. We thought the return was going to be easy as the woman checked us right out. However, when we were in our car preparing to leave the woman rapped on our window and in a very in your face manner told us that the UHaul we returned wasn't one of theirs and that we would have to pay a lot more because of our mistake. She persisted with this and we had to get out while she conferred with another individual in the company. Finally, the owner who was there told us that there was a mistake and for us “not to worry about itâ€. However, we got no apology from anyone and this entire incident made us decide that we'd rather not rent from this location again.

wesly S.The one-way entrance to the facility is not really obvious from the street. (There are two curb cuts but one is for ingress and the other is for egress.) Additional signage might help to distinguish the entrance from the exit. Otherwise, this is one of the best U-Haul centers I've rented trucks from.

Joseph B.Truck was very old and difficult to drive. Difficulty going up the smallest hills, and thought the engine was gonna fall out going downhill by the sound of it. Have rented roughly 10 times from this location and have had great trucks, this time not so much. Staff is really great and truck was really clean, just old.
Elizabeth Z.I drove this truck a total of 10 miles and put 2 gallons of gas in it before it was returned yet I was still charged $11.00 for gas for not being returned at the same level. Obviously the incorrect level was marked on my paperwork before I took possession of the truck.Just laziness on the staff is the only explanation

After a couple minutes someone came out from the back but he just asked us to move away from the door because it was making the bell ring out back. :/ Someone else did come out and start helping after.

Local location was great, that whole app return process was a sh*tshow and will make me think twice about renting from uhaul in the future. Do better

John L.The trailer was very helpful and we appreciate finally getting on the road with one. Thanks. Page 2 of the instructions was missing. No ramp was offered or provided. Handwheel coupler was useless when we could have drop and tow coupler. No tongue jack. The gentleman who assisted me used his cell phone to take a photo of my driver's license in order to put this information into the system. I was/am very uncomfortable with this. Thanks for asking. jefferson H.Staff very personable and helpful. Trailer not broom swept clean when picked up. Had to sweep it out before loading. Door was difficult to raise and lower. One tire was bald. Other three were different type. Definitely not good quality of equipment we have rented from Uhaul in past. We dropped off the trailer at the location we selected in the reservation and that was confirmed when we picked it up. Got a phone call from cooperate Uhaul asking us if we had returned the trailer and where. Mmmmmmm. Pick up location was aware of drop off and was stated in our paperwork.
Brad D.The truck left the facility missing a catalytic converter. I asked one of the employees of it was supppsed to sound like that. She said yes. Once I was about 5 hours away one of my moving helpers said that it was missing the catalytic converter. It was deafening.
Allen D.Warn the customer that the tire pressure gauge has tendency to come on and not to worry about it. Drivers wiper was terrible in the rain but other then that, the office staff was very helpful even when their office equipment was on the blink due to power surge. They were able to think on their feet and get both customers tended to and on their way.

The insurance company that is over my claim is taking forever to keep in touch with me and re-issue my money back for the stuff that was thrown away. I would not recommend using U-Haul ever again it was the worst Experience. When I got there to try to clean out my storage unit I had trouble with the lock politely went in there and ask for help and was told they are not allowed to help me I said to the lady I'm trying to clean out my unit I need help the lock will not open her boss said we have to call locksmith I said no you do not I have a code I will not open was very disrespectful going back-and-forth with me the Lady was just trying to help but her boss was very rude and disrespectful I would not recommend them ever again to anybody. The customer service just to get to the main location takes hours of waiting just to sit here and talk about something that Customer can't help u with.And customer service tells you to go to the location if you do not have a car how are you going to get to the Flippin location does not make sense.

She was very helpful, thoughtful in helping get the right size storage unit that I need. Even though Jeffrey did not follow the plan Danielle and I had made, Danielle was able to make everything work for our needs. She was amazing on the phone giving me options of not having to unpack a uhaul after being on the road for 3 days and with a broken foot. This lady is a true godsend!! Couldn't find a better person to help with your customers. Give her the utmost rating 10 out of 5. She goes way beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. You are truly blessed to have her working for Uhaul!!!

We have a heated unit, but it doesn't do any good if you can't get inside to your things. Paid for another month and the guy never apologized or gave us a discount for not being able to access our things and having to pay a friend to store some of our belongings because we couldn't get in to the unit.

I think they should have not Rented that unit out until it was cleaned the black spot on the floor was really a disappointment. I am kind of iffy if I would recommend this to someone else. Because like I said the storage had A black spot. To even open the storage unit was very hard. I had to physically go get the manager to show me how to open it. They should give you directions in the handbook to show me how to open the storage units.And others to know how do use the unit and close the unit.
