At checkout the 1st young man was pleasant and accomplished what I came in for. He said he needed the other man to work on my storage reservation but, he was assisting another customer. So he asked the third man there to work on my reservation. This employee said he'd have to check in the back to see if they had the size I requested available. I waited 10 minutes for him to come back. When he finally came back he never told me wether they had the unit or not he asked the 2nd person if he could do the paperwork for the storage he said no I'm still working on this customer. So the 3rd guy acted as if he didn't know how to do the paperwork or didn't want to do the paperwork. I canceled the request and went to the Groesbeck office where they took good care of me. As someone who works in customer service as a manager these employees need additional coaching. Oh by the way by going to the other location I loss getting my 1st month storage fee free. I'm alright with that it's just sad that I experienced this poor customer service!JEREMY LEE B.

The facility and people who work there were great. I'm glad I didn't have to drive that truck any further. It's worn out. 133 k. miles. At 70 mph the vibration throughout the truck almost made me want throw up.ALAN L.

The truck we received the air conditioner did not work and we had trouble putting the ramp back in once we were done loading. This vehicle was not in very good condition and we had to replace some fuses as well. This truck went to Florida and back with no air conditioner which with the heat was terrible.DAVID WALTER M.

I think the trucks need to be replaced at a certain point. The truck I rented had a lot of rust on the the back door and some of the metal was peeling off. The truck had a very bumpy ride I'm not sure if the shocks were bad or not. I guess trucks ride like that I'm not sure.CATHERINE DENISE B.

Very rude here. Not happy. Had an attitude. I was late on the return but also I was also forced late picking it up. Being 30 minutes late I was charged for an extra days rental...horse crap. I did, forget to put gas in it as I handed the keys over I realized my mistake. I said that I had forgot to and he gave me a cold shoulder and then got in the truck with no words. Then he proceeded to charge me the extra day and got fuel. I get the fuel charge, but not the extra day. U-haul has lost their touch for customer service.Jeremy J.

Well first of all the customer service worker who inspected my truck took my paper receipt and didn't return it back to me, then told me he would email me a second receipt and I didn't get it, I was supposed to be refunded some money being that I didn't use eight miles on the truck nor did I use a lot of gas I wasn't happy at all, not including the truck I really wanted they didn't have and I ended up paying more than I wanted to for a big truck I didn't needSANTANA HOPE H.

I rented a truck online yesterday for after-hours the building had no location barcode on the door and the location is not correct for gps signal so without the barcode you are forced to call customer service. I sat on hold forever and then the customer service person also took a long time to figure out what was happening, which was that my truck was not prepared or there for pick up, after recieving a confirmation. I was then told to go to another location to pick up a different truck. When I arrived I went through the process of obtaining the key and then the app would not allow the picture of the odometer and gas tank to go through. I finally just left because I was several hours late to get my furniture because I had wasted almost 3 hours of my time just to get the truck. I put more gas in the tank then there was when I left. When I returned the vehicle I was then charged for gas even though I had filled it. I'm sorry but this has been worst experience. The customer service people offered nothing for my wasted time or the companies inability to fulfill their end of the deal and then I was charged for additional gas on top of it. The Staff weren't very friendly neither eager to help, I was made to wait to be called to the register, but there was no other customers in office. The staff was very slow and more focused on doing nothing! Also I didn't like the fact that a rat box was in my storage didn't feel that was appropriate they should be placed out in the facility! That should be readdressed at how those rat traps should be if there's a rat caught it's goo to die and then who's going to pay my cleaning bills due to the ODOR!!!!GABRIELLSHANNEL M. | First Impressions
Although the service was great the truck I was given was the worst ride I've ever had. The truck basically had no shocks and was really old. I only ended up at this location because the Warren location no employee showed up for work. This made me late for a pickup that was scheduled. I pretty much plannef my day in advance by making a reservation two days in advance. Because I had to go to another location after waiting at the previous location for an hour for the employees to show up, it caused me to be late for my appointment which also cost me a day of pay. Nothing really, the man that checked me in was amazing. When I returned the equipment the other guy was great. It's just nice to have good customer service and for it to feel genuine. Calvin and team were the bright spot in a series of misfortunes for me! At first glance I took a chance on this location moving from across the state. I'm so very grateful to every member there. It's safe, secure, temp-controlled so I didn't have to worry about excessive temperatures. AND, during the move-out, I was given special attention to my situation. This is such a cool venue. Well, I had issues with everyone else when your system went down. I went to pick up a truck on Sunday, no can do. Had to do it on Monday. I understand those issues, but, there should have been a paper backup procedure just in case so people who schedule to pick up or drop-off could do so. Not happy about that. Most companies have a paper backup procedure in place just in case these things happen. So, just a suggestion. Have one in place just in case this happens again.Timothy E.

The only issue i had with the truck was there seemed to be no power at all. Ive used Uhaul alot of times. The truck i had just had no get up and go. I even got off the freeway because of it. The trailer door and hitch was not in great condition. The door jammed several times, and it took a lot to get it down. The coupler also jammed up, and I was unable to unhook the trailer. Due to the many of issues I had, I spent hours just trying to get the trailer to function as needed. Employees including the manager do not wear masks properly even when a disabled, immunocompromised customer asks them to. They are rude and not helpful at all.
