The locations elevator was broken with the only acces to storage via the fire stairs. Management made no offer of discounts on storage due to malfunction. We had to empty 2 storage units in 100 degree heat via the stairs to avoid being charged full price. Not acceptable at all.Phillip C.

The manager at this location was very rude, unprofessional and should not be in a position to represent UHaul. She made the man overseeing me securing my car on the trailer leave, then told me to go to YouTube and watch a video on the process while I stood in their parking lot. The straps were so rusted I had to find WD 40 to get them unfrozen. She told me she had had a long day and I was on my own. Then she disappeared inside never to be seen again. She also made numerous mistakes on paperwork and tried to double charge me for the car trailer. Very sad that UHaul has a person who dislikes their job given a management position. BEWARE OF THE ROGERS ARKANSAS UHAUL dealership on 8 th street. Shame on you!!!Lance B.

I went to Bentonville location closest to me to rent the truck 4.9 miles,time was 9am. Then I got email it was Rogers 16.4 miles and 11am. I got there waited 15 mins before anyone came in. The truck was not there was suppose to be returned at 10 it was almost noon before it came back then had computer issues so closer to 1 before I got the truck while people were at the house waiting to help me. I want to put in a big word of thanks to Skyler Zaage. When I arrived at the location on Thursday morning, Skyler was dealing with an angry customer whose attitude and language became more and more disrespectful and inappropriate over the course of several minutes. When I attempted to intervene by asking the customer to adjust his tone, he began berating me with vulgarities and threats. Skyler maintained composure through all of this, eventually asking the customer to leave, which he did. The 15' Truck that I rented had a deep 20" tear in the roof of the truck by the back of the truck which was hidden from view and inspection when the truck door was lifted open (you could not see the tear unless you were inside the truck with the door closed). This was not pointed out to me when I rented it, I discovered it after the truck was 80% loaded. You could see the sky through the tear and if it rained some of my belongings would have got very wet. I called the U-haul office and informed them of the situation and took pictures of the tear. When I asked what I should do about preventing water from getting through the tear, I was informed to return the truck for a new one (in other words 10 hours of packing would be lost). I had to solve the problem myself by purchasing some heavy duty water proof sealant tape and taking an hour out of my packing time to get on top of the truck and repair the tear so no water would come in. I traveled 1,200+ miles in the truck and it did rain during a portion of the trip. If I didn't catch this situation on my own I would have had some water damage. Because of the sealant tape there was no water issues. I rent from U-haul a lot and this is unacceptable. This trip rental was over $750. It should be standard protocol that your employees close the door from inside the truck to make sure there are not any issues with the entire roof. Very disappointed... I like using the 8th street location, but this was a bad experience I will learn from and I hope you do the same. I called your help line and have pictures if you would like to see them.John R.

Your 24 hour policy to access the Ubox containers is ridiculous! I called a day before to gain access to the UBOX container and the lady I spoke with on the phone said I didn't need to give 24 hour notice, and I could just walk up to the location and get access. Then when I went in person the Roger's LOCATION the employee said I needed to give 24 hour notice! First of all, your employees are inconsistent with your policy, second of all this policy is absolutely unnecessary and made my moving process awful. I needed access to them every day, and when I'm moving it's not very convenient to call. Not only did the Roger's location give me a difficult time accessesing the UBOX containers they didn't put them on a trailer like I asked them to. And then they said I needed to give 24 hour notice to put the UBOXES on a trailer. I asked them to do that the day BEFORE! That is 24 hours! I COORDINATED with 5 people to help me move that day and because of YOUR employees, they RUINED ALL MY PLANS! Overall U-Haul was difficult, inconvenient, and the employee were extremely rude. I will be sure to NEVER EVER EVER use uhaul again for any of my moving needs. The worst part is after leaving a bad review like this, I doubt anyone will reach out to me to reconcile my experience, because the customer service at uhaul is terrible.Keagan A.

Often, the large sliding doors weren't unlocked which was inconvenient. I tried using the call button several times to talk to the office but it wasn't answered. I drove around and they walked to unlock but I think that should be done without customers asking. Yesterday was our final visit and the doors were still locked at 12:00. I was told that I would have access to my unit up until 10 pm and I have yet to be able to get into it after 7 pm. I have called and called and no one has ever called me back from the location to get this fixed. I work long hours and can never get up there in person to get it fixed. Josh helped me select the right unit, unit location and made a great recommendation using the movinghelp.com app to get people to help unload the truck. I ended up using a company called Fresh Start and they did a great job. They showed up 15 minutes early. He made sure I could get them close together with close access to the elevator. Susana (I think that was her name. She has red hair and is very friendly) did a great job checking my rental in and answered my questions about the facility. The first 3 months i got charged late fees because whoever did the billing didn't know how to set up auto draft. Finally got that figured out. As I was cleaning out my storage building and terminating my contract staff was unwilling to listen. I told them I was moving out and the guy at the desk said clean out your room and we will come check you out. I cleaned out my room and called on the intercom, that guy asked me 3 times if I had cleaned out my room then said they didn't need to check me out and I had to go back up front. We were told that we would have a 10x20, but it ended up that we were given two 10x10's. Good thing we didn't have anything longer than 10 feet to store. Would be nice if what you were getting was made clear at the onset of the process, not when we checked in that day. We were also unaware (until check-in) that we would be having to go up to the second floor with all of our things. That wasn't fun. However, on your behalf, there were carts to use and the elevator was big enough for 4 carts at a time, so that was nice. In hind sight, we would have much preferred to know that we were getting a unit on the ground floor, or at least had the opportunity to request one. So while everyone was nice, the facilities were clean and well lit, the carts were provided...having direct access (without going through sliding glass doors and up/down elevators for every trip) would have made it much better for us.Joanna S. | First Impressions
We recently moved to Arkansas, and the month of storage here was invaluable. We finally got moved in to a new house and got our storage unit cleared out, but there was a hiccup when I called to cancel our storage unit, and we were billed for another month, plus a late fee. I came in and talked to someone and the issue was cleared up immediately, and I didn't have to pay anything extra. The facility is good. But we had a couple of issues with the alarm of the building going on during the night which is annoying and can damage hearing. We were not able to acomplish what we needed to do when we were putting things in the storage and then months later when were trying to move out we had issues with the elevator and no one was able to give us a time frame of when it was going to be fixed. Office and access hours were those of standard business hours. If I didn't leave work early I would never be able to access my unit. The only option was to pay for 24/7 access which is a complete inconvenience when I maybe needed access to it once a month. Multiple times I would try to pay my monthly bill early and the bill would say that I owe $0. Than the day after I get an email saying that I'm late and being charged an extra $30.
