I had two rentals in the last 3 weeks. The process is completely unacceptable. Inefficient and mobile is far from mobile. Plus you charged for a late check in and gas when there was actually more than I was left with. I don't know how you stay in business with this terrible team of people. Not only would I not recommend I would tell people how bad you were,

The men at this RVC location on maple street were the rudest people I ever met ! I'd never rent from that location again !

Employees were very helpful and friendly. The truck was well equipped and clean. The truck had light in the back cargo and the truck came equipped with a backup camera. I would definitely recommend this location.

The team at the Rockville Center location is five star. They are all extremely helpful, informative and efficient. We cannot say enough good things about them. We will continue to rent from them whenever needed.

Whole experience was easy from reservation, to pick up up drop off
I returned the truck after hours at 7:30p, 12 hours before it was due back and yet got charged for an overdue return (10:15a the next day).
have all rental staff be clear on day an mileage rates
I first went to a U Haul on Linden Blvd in Elmont service was terrible. I did a new reservation for Rockville Center very different experience. Rockville Center was on point.
Gave me a faulty wire harness (right turn signal was cut upon inspection)
The location has always been great! The app is the only thing that has ever given me issues.
The Dude was professional and moved quickly to get me out and checked back in.

My experience on the phone making the reservation with Rusty was excellent. When I went to uhaul I literally left a half hr after arrival. It seems that someone who walked after me WIThoUT a reservation was being helped n holding me up.i said something to the representative about this and then was being helped. My truck was dirty though also. It is poor customer service and rude to help another person who was there after me wout reservation n to help them and have the customer w the reservation wait. I was extremely annoyed.
I went to this location after another reservation at another location fell through. The other location didn't have a truck, and i had to go to the Rockville center instead.
The men working in the office were extremely welcoming and helpful. The process went flawless thanks to their attentive customer service.
Have the customer service people be better trained at their job. Meaning the use of the computers and charging for the service.

The equipment can be a lot more cleaner. My actual time of return on my emailed receipt is incorrect by two hours. I returned it at 1pm. Receipt indicated a return time of 3pm. I returned it to the staff named Adam.
Darrell, the manager is the best representation of service to the customers that walk in this location. He is knowledgeable, listen, and advise customers well. The delegate in his staff to assist clients, and his delegation is with suggestions and instructions rendering the service with the same high standard he rendered his own as head of the office. It is alwaysa pleasureto do business with U-haulat Rockville Centre, because of people like Darrell. OJO the truck was impecable clean in the driver & passengers seating. However, the back of the truck was extremely dirty. My stuff got so much brown dust all over, particularly the covers of the mattress and every piece of fabric in touch with the floor of the cargo area in the truck

Booked a one way truck rental and on the morning of our move the van size we booked wasn't available(20ft) and so we had to drive 40 miles to another location to rent a smaller van (15ft) at a round trip rate which meant two trips instead of one from my old house to new home that were 50 miles apart. My cost more than doubled with a round trip rate and extra miles aside from the ridiculous inconvenience of having to make the move twice and then drop off the 15ft truck after all that. Huge Fail on U-Haul's part, no effort to contact us the week prior to the rental that this location doesn't even offer 20ft trucks. Customer Service has done absolutely nothing to assist us and has made excuses each time a valid point is raised. Lost a repeat customer.

Storage door was not easy to open/close and would get stuck. Key would get stuck in ignition and was difficult to take out

Excellent. Continue not to take advantage of customers on the receiving end. I was only charged for going over my mileage. I've been erroneously charged $1,500 on the receiving end by a U-Haul store before.
On The unit I rented the dashboard light said low air pressure right rear. I brought it to the attention of the guy that brought the truck around. He assured me the tire was fine it was a dashboard problem. That was not the case the r r tire had an air leak that needed to be fixed. I had to add air during the two days I had the rental. This morning when I brought the truck back the same guy needed an attitude adjustment as he was making faces as I pulled in. He realized I wasn't about to let him ruin my day he had an attitude adjustment.

From the moment I walked in to retrieve my rental it was a pleasant experience. Darrell was wonderful, he was helpful, clear with his instructions and we'll informed to field any concerns I had. The whole transaction went very smoothly an I would happily rent here again.
I think moving blankets and hand trucks should be thrown in for free. Aside from that everything was fantastic.

Reese Baccas extended me a VIP credit for having rented space at this location for over a decade. She was very professional and personable. Although I would like to stay at this storage facility I need to find one that is cleaner and more conducive to storing my wardrobe. My clothing has mold on it and many fine pieces of clothing, especially leather clothing and shoes is ruined. Moreover, the freight elevator is inconvenient and clumsy for getting to my space and for moving stored items.

Everyone has been helpful and friendly for YEARS. And I returned here to rent trailers and other vehicles even though I lived closer to other facilities.
I am rating the facility above average only because of the wonderful service I have always received from Reese the Manager. Under difficult circumstances which are ongoing, Reese took quick action, apologized for the situation, and gave me direction on how to proceed. She is a professional customer service manager and you are lucky to have her at Uhaul and at this facility.
It would be more convenient if the elevator doors were automated. The door slammed so hard that I was VERY GLAD that I moved my hand out of the way in time.
I had called in yesterday and spoke to Daryl Jones. I was not in a great place and was irate trying to rectify a long term issue that had gone on unaddressed by the Rockville Centre Management team. Daryl was patient even when I was not and his handling of my situation is to be commended. I appreciate his help and assistance. Thank you.
SOME OF MY ITEMS WERE RUINED AND CANNOT BE REPLACED FROM MILDEW. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A CLIMATE CONTROLLED UNIT. I PAID A LOT OF MONEY TO STORE MEMORIES THERE ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY ARE DESTROYED....

My only issues were two; 1 - the lighting time is too short and should probably stay on an extra 10 minutes. 2- Every now and then I would receive letters and Emails statung I was behind on payments when they were up to date. Otherwise great service.

My only complaint is that I could never directly call the facility. Every call I made to this local business was rerouted to corporate when in fact I needed to speak to someone at the facility.
Staff always said hello especially Luis he came out of his way to greet me.
I just don't like the extra fee .and also the more than one later payment in the same month.

Dealing with the personel at the rockville center location was the only good part of my entire move process. Customer service via the 800 number was a joke. Making the reservation was a joke.
