Our reservation 23785674 for a trailer was to be picked up in St. Charles, MN. On our way to the pick up location, I called to be sure the trailer was ready only to be told it wasn't. It was booked the day before and they let the person keep the trailer until Sunday leaving us without a trailer and any solution. We had people waiting to help move and left completely without any help. We stopped at a location in Rochester and after 3 tries and driving around we finally got a trailer. We are very disappointed in the customer service. While this firm is for reviewing the Civic Center location and the ultimate trailer we were finally able to get (their service was okay), there wasn't another option to share this feedback on the one they ultimately cancelled on us that day.TAMI B.

We did everything online first and were surprised when we had to reexplain all the same information to the store associate. It seems that the online set up did not communicate well with the records in the store. We had to chose a new drop off location. Also, Shoreview was not a city listed in your system so we had to pick St. Paul instead.Brian G.

I will never use U-Haul again! You rented me a truck that leaked. It was my birthday and the seatbelt had water running down the belt and I was soaking wet underwear included. I had to take off the seatbelt while I drove other wise it would have continued the entire drive from Minnesota to Illinois. Your customer service rep that I spoke with was not unhelpful he asked if I called road side assistance. This is for mechanical issues I was flabbergasted at his remarks. I said no I called the store. When I got back and returned the truck I call this afternoon after I called the store again directly. The store was helpful and took notes. Before renting a truck they should be maintained and obviously this one was not. I spent $500.00+ and this was a horrible experience and your service customer service rep made it worse. You will loose my business and I will be writing a review on social media and tag U-Haul.BRIAN P.

Very helpful staff as I dropped off the trailer first and the truck later. As for the truck, 2 things would have made it a much better experience: 1. Cruise Control, very hard to keep a constant speed with the angle of the gas pedal. 2. Sound deadening in the cab. Heard so much wind and road noise, made it difficult to hold a conversation without yelling.Randy K.

The right trailer light did not work & should have been checked prior to my arrival to pick up. This was a 30 minute delay to correct & could have been avoided. The cause was a nick in one of the wires & troubleshooting could have been done prior to pickup.Fred M.

I filled out the reservation online. There were about 5 different screens of "would you like to add..." and I said no to most of them but I did say yes to one. When I went to pay at the location, the insurance wasnt added on like i had ordered online. We didn't realize this till we had driven away then it was too late to add the insurance. We were disappointed to see when we got to our destination that after take off water started leaking inside the box truck and in the cab. The interior cup holders hand some kind of drink spilt in the cup holder and what looked like tobacco pieces. We tried to do everything just by using the mobile share, but it is definitely not faster! I figured it would've been easier since I'm in a wheelchair but it takes forever and you definitely need to be mobile and not in a wheelchair. That is a lesson learned on my part. We still had to go in to get the keys and dolly while the truck was parked all the way across a huge parking lot. There was a guy there that was supposed to be helping people but not one time offered to help. When I tried to wave him down he told me he had to help someone else though we were there first. I sent my friend in to get the keys and dolly but the guy working gave him a furniture dolly with 4 wheels when I marked on line for the dolly with 2 wheels and my friend told him that..he still sent him with the wrong one. So, we had to drive to the front after already being late and I had to explain to him so then he processed to tell me I was wrong, but got the 2 wheel for me. I don't necessarily thing this would be a bad location but more so the worker if he is also the one to clean the trucks or box trucks.Candy E.
Next time make sure all of the trailer lights work. I was pulled over when it was dark during my drive because the marker lights weren't on. I had to leave the trailer on the side of the road and get it in the morning when it was light out making my arrival time very late. I payed $900+ for the trailer and this happens? Never again will I rent from U-haul nor will I ever recommend. I should be compensated for this. I would have been better off buying a trailer, moving and then selling it when I was done!!!Shane H.

Please answer the phone. I was unable to open the gate because my access code had changed without my knowledge. I had to drive to the main office to find out what was wrong because no one would answer the phone.Fletcher H.
When I arrived without an appointment the lady at the counter asked me if I had an appointment to which when I replied no she immediately shut down and acted like there was nothing available, she then started asking questions like can I bring it back to this location and what time can I bring it back. I needed this for about 50 miles one way and I could take any size as this was only for a couch. She said they have nothing so seeing how I counted 20 trucks I called the 800 number and made an reservation and then walked right back in and was helped by a very polite man who helped make the process easy.Andrew B.
