You need larger flat carts in your storage facilities on austin peay hwy memphis tn to move large items in and out of the inside storage units like sofas and triple dressers etc they will not fit your carts half of your stuff hangs of the cart creating a chance for damage just not a good fit it's a real problem thanks..

The doors to the units weren't locked all the time. Often I didn't have to swipe my card to get in, when no one else was there. Also they didn't honor the free month of rental service that the phone representative said I would get.

I was told when I made my reservation for a truck,that I qualified for a free 30 day rental. But when I got there I ended up having to paid for my rental. No one asked what size rental did I need. She just gave me a storage & it wasn't big enough to put my items in. When I went back to inquire about a bigger unit & figure out how to use the key card to get in, Uhaul had closed. I couldn't put everything in the storage & had to store the rest my items in a friend's garage because I had to get the truck

This was the worst experience ever!!! I rented the unit online and that was easy… I get to the site and the organization of the numbers are plain crazy! The lady at the front desk was helpful. When I first got to my unit it was at the very back of the building with a large open area and the lights did not turn on. There was a lock on the unit, I thought "oh a lock comes with it"… I buzzed for the young lady and asked if she had the key for my lock… she replied "oh so this ain't your lock? Is this your unit? I showed her my confirmation text and she apparently called another coworker or friend on her personal cell and asked if someone was coming in today and the person on the phone said "nah she not coming in today she works tomorrow" the young lady asked the person on the phone if the girl was coming to get her stuff and the person on the phone said "she was supposed to get it yesterday but she didn't feel like moving it then she said she was coming today. The young lady informed the person on the phone that I was there and ready to move in and the person on the phone said just tell the lady to just come back tomorrow or we will call her when it's ready." The young lady turned to me and before she could repeat what the person said on the phone I asked if they had another unit and she said no, but you can come back tomorrow and hopefully she will have her stuff out. Needless to say that wasn't an option with 2 trucks full of stuff in the rain!!!! I had to call all around the Memphis area and unfortunately was not able to find the size I needed and ended wasting gas, time, energy, and a lot more money.

We were charged a lot more than expected for gas. We fueled the the truck back to where it was when we got it and still got charged $47 more dollars. The fuel reading before a customer gets your truck should be accurate and not used to take advantage of future customers.

Everything was fine but the lady that waited on my that Friday morning needed to smile more and a little more customer skills but I love that even shift was is always friendly and smiling and greeting people in as u set foot into the store I don't no her name but she work on the evening shift and the young man that checked the van in last night was excellent and friendly staff like that make me tell people about that location because they were so friendly that night crew was on point 09/10/21 that when I was in the store! Customer service representative was eating ice cream bar during my entire experience and instead of authorizing my card she charged and I wanted to pay cash upon returning equipment and could not do so. Your website sent me to the wrong Uhaul. I got there and they acted like it was my mistake. So I had to go to two Uhauls. And I checked out and paid BEFORE the person at the Austin Peay location told me that they were out of trucks (even though that's what I reserved) and only had a van. When I came back in and told her I really needed/expected a truck, she pretty much said 'sorry' and then pretended like I wasn't there.

Aug 3 am lady employee was extremely rude! This facility made me spend so much money to get my things out of your enclosed storage facility. I'm paying 229$ per hour and it took 5 hrs to empty two units. I'll never use U-Haul at this location on Austin Pea again!!! This design makes it impossible for loading and unloading. Everything must go on a cart down a long hall! Crazy design.

I believe UHaul should be prepared to reimburse partial refunds for partial months usage. I paid on the 24 of July 89.00 and moved out on the 29, therefore I should have been reimbursed for some money. Another time Uhaul sent notice that if I paid before the due date my charge would not go up the additional $5.00, I paid immediately but of course I still had to pay additional money.

I don't understand the usefulness of filling out the contract on line only to check in and have to answer the same questions at the check in desk. I also don't understand that I can make a reservation for equipment on line and then check in at the desk and find out that there is no equipment available even though I reserved it. Maybe you should start linking your equipment with the on line reservations.

I came into this location at 5:15pm and no one was inside but however the heavy set cashier was on her personal phone and she had the worst attitude. Everytime I ask a question her response was short & nasty. When I've used this location before the light skin young lady always is nice, she ask do I need any help with anything but young lady Wednesday was just rude. Hire nice people

The rep was very dismissive and unapologetic for not having the cargo van I reserved. I was forced to use a more expensive and larger vehicle without an explanation. I only the needed it to pick up 6 chairs. Coincidentally I walked in over hearing her on the phone with a customer who hadn't brought back a cargo van by 3:30 and my reservation wasn't until 4:00pm . I felt she should have handled my situation better. Her attitude was disgusting not welcoming at all. I had to walk to the other end of the parking lot looking for the vehicle she hand the keys to me telling me to look for. The vehicle alignment was terrible. I had to get off the expressway and take the streets because it was raining. Which took the trip even longer. As I arrive to drop the vehicle back off the rep attitude was still disgusting. She literally almost hit me with the vehicle door barely giving me enough personal space to clear. After totally up my mileage and checking the vehicle with no eye contact she ask if I wanted my refund I stated yes she then said meet me on the inside. Tone just rude for nothing and I work in customer service. Handed my paperwork over the plexiglass and stated have a nice day. Just terrible, if she doesn't like her job she needs to quit.

I was unable to check into the facility. The young lady who helped me was kind and helpful, but forgot to give me some items I purchased, like a mattress bag and lock. She was otherwise accommodating. I do find I am in need of more information with regard to checking into the storage facility. My card was denied access.

First my reservation was switched to an alternate pick up and drop off location which added extra miles ( at .99 cents each ) and gas ( at almost $3 per gal. ). Which I do not recall being notified ahead of time about. Second the information on the paperwork on how much gas to put back in the truck was incorrect and ended up wasting a bunch of extra money on gas that I didn't need to. There were other things to this rental was very costly due to very poor business practices.

The morning shift came to work 30 mins late causing my day to be inconvenienced. I'm an event planner and it's all about time in this business. There was no apology, no empathy, no nothing. I'll never rent from this location again and I'm ending my storage as well. You need reliable workers for the type of business. Do better.

The only complaint I have is the manager was very rude and did not make herself available to customers. However, the employees were helpful and the indoor unit I rented was kept at a comfortable temperature and remained bug/rodent free.

The unit I was assigned to had another person's things in it. Instead of evicting that person from the unit or taking the things out, I was forced to pay more for another larger unit. I reserved my unit 3 weeks in advance. I almost didn't get another unit, as there weren't many options. By luck, the larger unit was found. Even though I reserved my unit 3 weeks in advance, I was almost turned away with all my belongings. Luckily the workers were kind about it, but this was not my fault and it felt like I was being punished for someone's inability to do their job.

The U'Hauls mechanical condition was not good. The check engine light was on and flashed a few times. Other than how the truck ran, I like this location. I checked to use their storage services again but none were empty. Everything else is good to go!

Your Hot Springs, AR facility was not user friendly. I was told I could not come in the building. I had to finish the contract over the phone from my car! When that didn't work your employee made several trips from her office back and forth to my car and we finally were able to leave for Memphis. We were told that the dolly we paid for was not available and were asked to pick it up from another location. We were short on time and did not go by the other location. Your Memphis employees were very empathetic and gave us credit for the missing dolly and were very helpful with our check-in. But I was a little surprised by the $95 rate. The rate quoted over the phone was $39. I found out just
