Truck was great with no problems. Only thing I had a problem with is when I opens the door the smell marijuana was overwhelming. When I turned the truck in the person said they have a few trucks lately with the same problem. Probably just borrow a trailer from a friend if I move again. Now I feel like my furniture smell like it!

When we picked up the truck, it had a backup light that was out. We brought it to the worker's attention and he seemed put out and said “It's ok as long as you have one.” We rejected taking that truck for safety reasons, so he got another truck which had stickers all over the dome light because it's unable to be turned off (so we had to drive in the dark with the light on in the cab). The light in the hauling park of the truck was burned out so we had to load the truck by flashlight. I have serious concerns as to whether I would rent a Uhaul again because I felt like our safety was put at risk due to laziness. On a positive note, the lady who made the reservation the day before was nice and efficient. (However, when she made the storage rental reservation, she made it for the day after we arrived with the truck. I understand why as the software defaults to that â€" as it did with me when I was exploring online. This glitch should be fixed with I.T.). The guy who checked us in at the storage unit and when the truck was unloaded was awesome as well.

Make sure the reading on the gas gauge is correct next time for any other customers when they check out. My check-in paperwork didn't match the actual gas level on the gas gauge in the truck. My paperwork showed 7/16 of a tank when actually the gas level on the truck gas gauge read about 4/16 - 5/16 of a tank. I didn't notice it until I left the UHALL facility location. Other than this issue, everything else was first rate! The people there were very friendly and helpful !!!

The staff was very unfriendly and I believe to be possible on drugs to go into detail would take two pages but this just isn’t about the staff they charge around $200 a unit on my 10•20 and only provide one tiny little energy efficient swirl bulb in the very front corner next to the door that you can only run 15min at a time at them pices of charge should be provided with a better experience

Getting the reservation was easy. We've rented there in the past. My husband remembered from a past rental how helpful the office staff was. BUT, this time..... They sent us off in a truck with headlights so dim I even thought about leaning out the window and using my phone flashlight. That wasn't the biggest problem. The bigger problem is that the battery was shot and even though we never left any lights on or doors ajar and we used our car headlights for loading and unloading lights, the truck battery failed on us TWICE!!! The second time we were stranded was in a rough (ROUGH) part of town and we tried to get UHAUL to send someone to get us operational again but our plea for help over the "LIVE CHAT" option on the UHaul website went totally unanswered. I was scared and literally begging but got no response!!! NONE! I have a screen capture of that if you would like proof. When I told the check in guy what happened, his response was not an, "I'm so sorry that happened to you". It was a grunt! Did that make me feel like they regretted our horrible experience. NO!! Did it make me decide not to use UHaul in the future. YES!!! I have rented from UHaul many times in the past but you can sign me - - No longer a loyal UHaul Customer

You should create an expedited process for repeat customers. As someone that has rented many time in recent years, it often takes me longer inside than I need a trailer for. I would rent more often if not for the lengthy check in process. Last time I used online checkin, photos of DL everything and they repeated it upon my arrival anyway.

Rented 6x12 trailer and later found nail in tire. Unfortunately, AFTER it was fully loaded reducing options! Called them, instructed me to bring back. It was near closing time and this team replaced the tire! ¡Gracias!

I have rented I haul trucks for many years with out any issues. This last truck rental was a nightmare. The truck we rented was in bad condition the speedometer didn't work and the drivers window rattled so bad it drove me crazy. I have never rented a truck from haul that ride anywhere near so bad it was terrible it actually made my insides hurt and I only drove it about about 180 miles.😥

The ONLY thing I would suggest is really emphasize that customers purchase not only the accident insurance, but the Roadside Assistance for $5.You have my permission to use my story. After unloading items into my rather dark storage unit, I realized I had LOST the key to my rental van. After 2 hours of moving around everything I had just put in, dumping out my purse 3 times, crawling and feeling around on the storage unit's dirty floor as well as under the van, and crying unto I could hardly breathe, I gave in and called the U-Haul location. She gave me the 800 number for customer service. The agent I spoke with there who told me not to worry, I was covered and reminded me that I had purchased the roadside assistance insurance! Best $5 I've ever spent!

The unit they gave me had a lock so I had to go back to take it off. Then I open it and there is a crate of dolly's in it. I got a card to turn off the alarm but there wasn't an alarm system. Just unorganized. Also, I called earlier and reserved a unit and they said I didn't have a reservation.
