During our travel from VA to NC our uhaul broke down on 2 separate occasions putting us over an hour behind schedule. The entire drive we couldn't drive over 55 MPH. I feel robbed of the money we paid and it's unfortunate we typically use uhaul for our moves. However after this incident I'm not so sure on that in the future

When I returned the truck I was aware of the extra charges but the representative didn't tell me she was gonna charge me a cleaning fee. I tried contacting someone but no one has called me back yet. I think she clicked cleaning fee by accident because it wasn't anything wrong with the inside of the truck or anything left behind

THE ODOMETER IS SO TRICKY..THEY CHARGED Me TOO MUCH FOR IT..FROM IKEA POTOMAC TO UHAUL IS ONLY .02 miles..then MY PLACE IS ONLY 8.6 MILES to UHAUL Overall total miles is only 17MILES to 18Miles which i declare over the counter...then pick it up at 8:05 pm then return it at 9:15pm...on our trip from 8:05pm to 9:15pm the loading and unloading to our stuff plus quicky dinner is already included in that time.....what a joke when i return it online...suddenly we have to pay additional $70 ++!! Coz it says we used 57miles!!what a joke...we decline the payment and called the the uhaul they said we have to declined the payment...so we will not be charge for the additional..we did that..and put a comment...thought we are good already...but suddenly the day after i checked my account they charged me 2x......1 is $36.09 which is okay for 17miles the one i paid over the counter and $59.53..what a joke..!!!kindly fix this...not good taking advantage dude..looking forward to contact me after reviewing my review...so you can return my MONEY...Thank you

Honestly, I think they are doing a great job. Booked the night before, got there the next day, vehicle ready to pick up. In like 5 minutes I was on the road. Great costumer service.

The facility is very tight and difficult to maneuver around. Trucks and trailers are all over the place, parked randomly without care of maneuverability. The staff has no concept of customer service, or even how to communicate. After checking in they asked that I pull around the building and 'someone' will be out to hook up the trailer. After 20 minutes of waiting, 'someone' never came. I went in and asked for help, and several employees looked at each other and moved around like they were going to help but no one seemed to have the ability to speak. After waiting another 10 minutes ('someone' still not there) I found and hooked up the trailer myself. I went inside and said I just need a wiring jumper because it was missing from the trailer. Once again, employees moved around and looked at each other, but still had not found the ability to actually speak. After another 10 minutes I took the jumper off of another trailer and finished my hook up. Then 'someone' wondered out of the building, mumbled something unintelligible, took a picture of my hook up and I left. If no one was going to help, I'm fine with that, but they should have let me know so I didn't waste 30 minutes waiting on them before just doing it myself. PS - I admire UHAUL for their commitment to hiring the mute, but someone should be in the store that has the ability to actually speak coherently. An added bonus would be having someone in charge too.

I was given a truck with 1/4 tank of gas. Having no idea what the gas mileage was for this vehicle or how many gallons the tank held, I filled the tank up. I spent over $50. Turns out I ended up using less than 1/4 tank. The next renter of this truck will get over 1/2 tank of gas on me. There should be some communication with customers about gas mileage and size of the gas tank.

Overall no complaints. Place was packed with people. I appreciated that the rep let me turn my key in rather than wait in line. Parking lot is very congested, hard to get in and out of. Overall, I appreciated the equipment and the service. No major problems, well done.

The customer service was excellent. The truck itself work without a problem. It went almost smoothly, until I had to return it. The witing line took extremelly too long. There were only three customers in front of me, however it took almost 45 minutes to finally get some service.

My original pickup location was Pets Plus in Stafford. I arrive 30 minutes prior to my pickup time to find my truck wedged in between 4 other trucks mirrors all touching, making it impossible to get into my truck. I had requested a 7 hour rental. After spending an hour on the phone with 2 incredible reps, I was provided a truck in Potomac Mills. It was literally waiting for me outside. What a blessing! Because I had arranged for my movers to meet me at my house at 8:30 and did not arrive home until 9:00, costing me 30 minutes of booked movers time and 1 hour of truck rental, the Potomac Mills location was a lifesaver! I should have booked with them in the first place. I always receive quality service from the Potomac Mills location.

when I get to the location I was able to talk the customer service and help me alright but the problem is that the charges were not explain properly because it said on the truck 19.95 per day and .38 extral miles .my initial charges was $135 but when I return the van I was charge 219.65 and am sill confused because that was not I was explain when I get there so I need my refund.

I attempted an early pickup, scheduled for 7 am on Sunday. We were unable to get the app to finish the process and had to wait until 9 when they opened. I will not recommend this process to any one!!

It was an absolute nightmare to get into but the worst is the strangers looking for work walking up to your car asking for it. As a smaller women having some large man spot me out stare at me while walking at me is incredibly unsettling. I didn't go inside because of the multiple men like this but my boyfriend said the guy inside was not helpful, didn't go over the van with him and said he would just email us. We got a 25$ charge over what? No idea, no description nothing. But I want nothing to do with them and it's $25 so I'm just paying it and will not be going back to that place.

The truck had very high mileage and didn't have any take off, very slow driving. The check in process was terrible trying to use the mobile app. Tried to follow instructions but it kept asking for my driver's license 4xs. The process took over 30 minutes just to pick up truck which delayed my day.

Really slow to get truck checked out. Two people there, however one was only checking in people. Seemed like they had to make a 1,000 keyboard entries and also answer phones. The other person sat in computer the whole time. Appreciated social distancing protocols, location was great and store and yard was really clean. Looked new. Check in was awesome and was out in less than 5 minutes.

When I returned the truck I clearly put more fuel back in it then when I left with it and I still got a $19 fuel charge and it was nothing they can tell me about it just rip me off and I patronize this company a lot

I reserved the truck online and the price per mile was .99 cents. I had to change my date of reservation because my movers cancelled and uhaul didn't honor the online price and changed the price per mile to 1.29.

Consider an early return discounted rate... Often times, I would rent a full day, but in this case finish early and get the equipment back before close of business the same day... This is not negative feedback but would be a nice added feature. There is a penalty for lateness... Thanks for everything!!!

It was over crowded plus many people standing outside waiting to be picked up for a job/ harassing you to get a job. The area to return the trailers was hard to get too had to enter the street two times to get to the right area.

The young lady that checked the truck out to me wasn't very friendly. She disappeared before asking if I had questions or reviewed details of the truck. I really didn't even know if I could drive off or if she needed to close the process, because she was gone so quickly. Lastly, the door got stuck a few times after opening. It took a while to get it to close. There was a gentlemen that was very friendly, white male w/a hat.

I was charged $150 for damage to the vehicle that I did not cause. The attendant did not accompany me on the initial walkthrough and I must have missed the damage upon inspection of the vehicle. This is how uhaul makes money at this location. Beware of the scam

The unit 1328 was very poor unfortunately they had a mice/rat problem and I had to throw out my Sofa and lamp because of it. I needed my sofa and it went to trash because of the mice.

What a pleasant experience even though moving is a royal pain, everyone at the Uhaul office was extremely nice, thanks Peggy for being Supper Nice and making the moving experience less painfull....:)
