Warn customers that since paper is no longer used for documenting existing truck damage, a cell phone is now required to look at, in my case, dim photos of the truck in bright sunlight. Also, the instructions for the app are not in the app and the the circles to "Accept " or "Dispute" merely change color rather that fill in which is crappy design (from an experienced software designer). It's a little late to find out you need a cell phone after you arrive. No Debbie, not everyone believes in Santa Claus nor has a cell phone.DALEARCHIE C.

I was told by U-Haul customer service on two separate occasions that I can expect a full tank of gas in my truck when I picked it up. The location attendant, however, stated that they couldn't guarantee a full tank, and I was given less than half a tank. I ended up returning more gas in the tank than I was given to avoid charges, which I was not compensated for. The location even incorrectly marked the meter to make it appear that I returned less gas than I actually did. I will never use U-Haul again for my moving needs.Janet G.

Listen the staff was very friendly, but it took 45 minutes for this guy to set me up with a unit. I told him i had a free reservation he didn't listen and had to start over. Finally we went out to look for the unit and I knew where the unit was before him but again he didn't listen. Then when i got my unit open there were spider and cobwebs EVERYWHERE..i literally had to wipe it all away with my own broom. Oh not to mention when i got the first unit, and its now dark by the way, I've gotten a quarter of my stuff in the unit already and he comes back out to tell me he gave me the wrong unit.. the experience was trash and made my day last longer than i needed which wasn't cool because I had missed something important due to the nonsense i dealt with at Uhaul. What should have been a 30 min experience turned into almost 2 hours and mind you, i had a 10 foot truck of stuff going into a 5' 10' 5' and again I've been in the moving industry so it didnt take more than 15 or 20 minutes to unload my truck and stack it in the unit.Terence B. | First Impressions

The truck was clean, ran well, without any problems. The male associate who welcomed me at the counter, Day, who normally works at the Port Royal store, was friendly, helpful, efficient without rushing the process, thorough in explaining the system and engaged in relaxed conversation. I had reservations for 20â€ truck and they called me twice the day before my pick up to confirm that I was coming the next day for 20â€ truck.
