The computers in this location kept failing so completing the transaction took way longer than it should have renting it even though the pick up truck I rented was reserved over the phone. But over all I had an excellent experience and customer service was the best !JESUS B.

The guy working the yard at the pasadena on raymond location has completely awful attitude, difficult to locate, and offers no help. On top of that hes yelled at me everytime I've visited the place, 3 times. He refused to help me and they had to get someone else offsite to help me. Waited 20 extra minutes. Not coming back to this location ever again. Yet, Sales people and manager are very nice and helpful.JEREMY G.
This comment is not about the rental location. My comment is regarding the contract. I had a hard time estimating how much fuel I needed to add at the end of the day. It would have been the most helpful to know what mileage per gallon the vehicle gets. That would have made it very easy to know how much fuel was needed at the end of the day.JOHN K.

The people there were very friendly and professional. But it's clear the location is understaffed. Lines move very slowly. As for the van, it was clean, but it's badly in need of maintenance. The engine bogs down and the vehicle slows dangerously for a couple seconds when pressing on the accelerator.CHRISTOPHER G.
The person who identified herself as the Asst. Manager was VERY RUDE. She was arrogant, dismissive and condescending. I have reported her to corporate and am still waiting for a call from her manager. Her behavior was completely UNACCEPTABLE!LAUREN B.

The app was NOT working when we were returning the u-haul after hours. We ended up having to access the app via the web browser vs. the actual app in order for buttons and functionality to work. For example: it asked to upload a photo and after taking it and selecting the green check mark the picture did NOT appear on the screen. IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING!Lauren G.

Followed directions to pay in person the day prior using a company card. Was assured it was paid for and the card would be kept on file since it was already on file that day from me making the phone reservation days prior. The following day, employee went to pick up vehicle and was not given vehicle, told it was not paid for and that after hours drop offs were not available. I am not sure why the two other interactions this information was not shared.FREDERICK Y.

The problem is the snail's pace to rent a truck or trailer. Lines are long and slow. Even if you fill out all the information for the reservation online, when you get to the counter (after waiting in line for the slow process), it seems the sales associate has tons of work to do on the system, make the check out process very painful and slow. It would seem that your system is very inefficient for providing check-out. Consider that people can rent cars through an online portal, pay in advance and when they show up at the location, they just have to log into a kiosk and then they go out to the lot to perform the pickup. Why can't UHaul be as efficient as that?ERIC M.

The representative at reception was not so caring. The first car was clean but the check engine light was on and the back door did not shut close easily so we asked for another van. The other van we got was extremely dirty outside that we could hardly see through the window and had to use the wiper washer to clean it up a bit. Inside the van was poorly clean and smelled like dirt and manure everywhere and since we were in rush we just took it. But we could not stand the smell inside! Very very poorly maintained van in terms of cleanliness. Returning it was easy and fast so thank you.JOHN D.
Great experience. Have not rented in a long time. So much easier. Walk in reservation was pleasant and efficient. Check in took less than 10 minutes on a Saturday. Was offered help in the lot finding the Van. Good equipment. Better gas milage than I expected. Someone met us in the driveway at return told us to leave the key on the seat and the email was mailed. I dropped my trailer of early but was charged for extra days and then told I HAD TO PROVE I dropped it off early, becasue the check in agents didn't do their job correctly. I eventually got it refunded, but I was still charged and extra >$60 for the drop off location's mistake!SENECA V.

My only problem with this location is it is hard to get them on the phone and going through some operator in another far off place is rather frustrating as they don't have the info that I need. I have had several hitches installed there and they have the best deal in town. Highly recommend them. Also there is no parking area designated for customers so it is a bit of a challenge to figure out where to park as there is always a million trucks and trailers stored there and virtually no street parking either. Otherwise I find the staff friendly, willing and very helpful which these days is the exception rather than the rule.Jacqueline E.

This location has consistently disappointed. Either equipment unavailable, or trying to overcharge. Yesterday we returned a clean truck, gruff employee said what about drivers compartment? Vehicle was fine. Staff was not friendly. Location has no parking for short-term rental. Forced to park on the street (if spaces are available with two hour limit, or pay for parking at a pay lot. Rental was for four hours. Logistics on the lot are a mess with blocked access, and vehicles parked wherever making it challenging to maneuver in, around, and out.JOSEPH W.

Although the staff was friendly, they didn't have my reserved unit available which required a downgrade in size and was on the second level with no elevator. This required multiple trips up and down with heavy boxes and heavy furniture to a non-air conditioned second level. This was very frustrating and took 3 hours to load the unit where it should have been up to an 1 hour with the reserved unit that was on the first floor.Isaac A. | First Impressions

Shanna is an exceptional customer service person. She handled my issue of a late fee without my asking her to. I was apologizing for not reporting that the unit was empty and that I cost them the ability to rent it sooner. I fully had accepted that I owed them the fee. I'm a senior citizen with knee & back issues. She remembered that I had come in earlier with daughter to return the truck & noticed that was having difficulty walking. You should inform renters right off the bat that there will be regular increases on the monthly rental fee. This is one of the reasons we left. You should also consider expanding the parking lot. It's too small for a company that offers a lot of services. I witnessed a confrontation between a customer and one of the staff yesterday precisely about this issue. I asked for receipt to be email and it has not, and your system was "down" and had to wait 30 minutes to pay for 8 months of storage. Would like rent not continue to raised I have been here since 2013, 6 years is the cut off of storage rent increase if not may find another, and there was a White male worker, no name tag, being very annoying and female Black was also annoyed by him she said something about gas he was working on, he also said "your storage went up another 5 bucks". when general manager came out that guy was gone from office.
