No dolly was included in the truck when I picked it up so I asked them to remove the charge. It was not removed on my final bill. I also ordered 12 moving pads which were not included. I went to the attendant and she grabbed me one set of six. when I spoke to the attendant I asked her to adjust the charges and remove the dolly fees and pad fee for the pads I did not receive. We ended up at this location after using one other and trying to use yet another. The first vehicle that we rented had not even been swept out, let alone cleaned. The second place had nobody there when we went to pick up our reserved vehicle and when we called Uhaul they said that there wasn't a vehicle there for us anyway. The Raymond location was clean, the staff was nice, patient and competent. If I were to need another area in this area This is the only Uhaul location I would trust for truck rental in Pasadena.Elizabeth H.

I originally rented a 6 by 12 cargo trailer at the Lincoln location which was approved for the day and time I selected. However, when I showed up they told me they didn't have a trailer bigger that a 5 by 8. I had to drive down to the Reymond which put me behind schedule. They also didn't have the cargo trailer only a 6 by 12 utility trailer which wasn't what I originally wanted to rent.SEAN L.

The customer service was poor. The rental agent I dealt with in the store was unfriendly and curt. I was also yelled at by the employee in the rental yard as to where I parked. First time there and we were a little disappointed with one of the workers there. He was harsh and rude and when I told one of the team members in front of him he proceeded to argue with me. Not ok on my book. I was standing there looking for our truck and he asked if I was waiting on a truck I said yes and he replied" dont u know that they tell u in there to go to the green carp but in nasty u are a dumb client of kind of way. I was so upset so I looked for someone and said it in front of him on what and how he told me so he proceeded to argue with me and then said I'm not going to argue with you after I said yes u said ur that and who talks to their clients this way and that's not what I said in front of two coworkers. Would like rent not continue to raised I have been here since 2013, 6 years is the cut off of storage rent increase if not may find another, and there was a White male worker, no name tag, being very annoying and female Black was also annoyed by him she said something about gas he was working on, he also said "your storage went up another 5 bucks". when general manager came out that guy was gone from office. I needed the van for a quick short drive to move a big mattress. Upon returning I felt like I was â€œpushedâ€ by the staff to leave and not wait for them to check the van! Is that the procedure?! It can't be. I had to tell the guy receiving back the van I was not leaving until he had checked for any problems and the miles and gas. He told me they still had to sanitize the van and etc. I said fine I could wait and again and again he told me I could leave before he checked. I am not sure if this complaint is specifically for the Pasadena branch or the U-Haul in general. I made my reservation almost 2 weeks in advance to rent a 26' truck knowing that my stuff would only fit in this big truck. However, one day before my moving date, I received the phone call that 26' truck was not available. They gave me an option of finding 26' truck from much further location or reducing the size to a 20' truck. Well, you are one day before the moving, how can you find another company with 26' truck or rearrage the helpers!? I had to accept 20' truck but I kindly asked if I have to make 2 trips to my new location, please waive the charge for miles. They created a ticket about it. In the end, it took me more than 4 hours to load to a small truck with the helpers on my first trip, where I originally agreed for 3 hrs. That's why I paid more for the helpers. Obviously it did not fit and I came back after the first trip and load the rest without any helpers, which took many more hours. My second trip was another 80 miles. If I had the 26' truck, all the move would be finished by 4pm, instead with 20' truck and 2 trips, it ended 1am in the morning. Although it was extremely tiring with two trips, I only asked from uhaul that, please not charge me for the miles of the second trip. The answer was â€œwe don't owe you anything!â€. Well, sure, thanks. How would anyone trust you, if uhaul can modify your reservation one day before and say â€œthe truck you reserved is not available and we give you $50 for this incidentâ€. Well, that costed me much more than $50 for the movers extra times and extra miles etc. At least you could not charge me for the second trip's miles. It was disappointing in that case.UMUT Y.

My overall experience with UHaul was not good. I ordered moving support, and had no way to pay them at 9:30pm at night when they finished. Reaching anyone on the UHaul line was impossible (eternal hold); I finally called the scheduling line, and they were rude and unhelpful. My INITIAL call with UHAUL reserving the service was Great! The guy was so helpful! Then I called and had to move my reservation time and the woman was super helpful!! Then the scheduling line got involved the next day because they didn't get the message, and they were rude, unhelpful, and confusing. Ultimately - the experience reserving was lovely - the actual organization/delivery of service was poor to very poor.JOSEPH G.

It's clear uhaul is trying to hire as few people as absolutely possible, so they drive people to use their online reservation system, which is what I tried doing initially. But after picking out the truck I needed at the location and time I wanted, I noticed that in the last confirmation page before finalizing the order that the pickup time changed to later in the afternoon. So I then had to go back and try to correct that, except at that point, all the am pickup times were no longer given as options. So this forced me to have to call. Calling on the phone is a joke because it literally takes 1/2 an hour to speak to a live person. But I finally was able to make the reservation as I'd initially setup online. I received the reservation number and scanned my DL in advance expecting that this would streamline the pickup process. I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled 7:30am pickup time only to have to wait 1/2 an hour to get the truck since there's only one guy at the counter. This is really annoying when one is on a tight timeframe as I was. And that's been my experience with uhaul that regardless of what time one calls or shows up in person, there's always a long wait. And the online system is never one you can rely on either.MICHAEL B.

I was charged an extra day for a rental. The rental contract had incorrect contact information for me and an incorrect date of pickup and return that differed from my original contract. I can never get anyone from this location on the phone. Completely frustrating and a huge waste of my time dealing with UHaul. Calls always get forwarded to a call center and then any requests get forwarded to the location, but never confirmed. I have to call multiple times and waste my time dealing with call center reps. The payment dispute process online doesn't work and keeps giving an error message. I was on hold for nearly an hour on the phone just to speak to someone about a payment dispute.Jameson L.

I did not like the fact that Moverhelp was not as good as I had expected which caused many problems. In my opinion UHaul should require that all movers are INSURED, HAVE EQUIPMENT to handle moving large items. We as the clients are hiring movers just for that type of service and should not be held responsible to have equipment for them, it doesn't make sense. I will hire professional movers from now on.
