Good Evening I have been to this location several times and the customer service is not great it's just average. You changed your policy regarding the inspection process. Also I sat in the truck and no one came to greet me and once I walked into the store no one was in the store. I was addressed. However my receipt was sent to me no acknowledgment of it being sent to me! No one said anything after the initial greeting. I walked out and nothing was said. Your employee Takeisha Stennis was truly amazing. She went over and beyond to help resolve an unfair charge I received from a rental over two years ago. It was a mistaken late charge and I couldn't proceed forward with the rental until I paid it. She was compassionate and followed up to ensure it was resolved. Your employee takiesha Stennis took a negative situation and made it right. I was unfairly charged by your corporate office for a â€˜late fee' from over two years ago that was never validated and it was even for a vehicle I rented. I was an additional driver. I was stuck to pay this fee in order to rent a truck. She was compassionate to my issue and credited back to me the charges and took time to follow up to ensure that my experience was pleasant. I commended her as a wonderful representative for Uhaul and it will be because of her, I will continue to do business with Uhaul. She thought outside the box and made a wrong situation right. 0 furniture pads were offered or delivered with the box. The box was set to arrive on sep 15th but was rescheduled after the location did not have a driver. The box should've arrived first thing in the morning but I had to call at 12 asking where it was. It eventually showed up around 3pm the next day. The pick up was on time and the young man was very pleasant. Delivery was scheduled when the reservation was made. It was scheduled again (didn't change), when the box was pick up. I received yet 3 more calls to schedule the delivery!!!! Finally it was dropped off a day late and unloaded. The young woman that delivered was very nice and informative. I pray I never need another UBox. This was not a pleasant experience.Cynthia S.

I was told the truck had 1/2 tank of gas and then when I got in it had a quarter tank we notified the guy and he said he would take care of it he did not and i am being charged $61 for gas. Also I was charged $54 for being 3 minutes late even though there was a after hours drop off.ERIK R.

The customer service rep, Carlo, was the most unnecessarily hostile individual I've encountered in a public space. It's like he woke up that day and wondered how he could be horrible to another human. And what was my â€œfoulâ€ ? Parking the Uhaul cargo van in the EXACT parking spot in the Uhaul parking lot where I got it from. Aka- along side the line of all other Uhaul cargo vans in the Uhaul parking lot; bka- the space where Uhaul representatives park returned vehicles. This transaction amounted to, me handing him the keys. That's it. I'm sure he has encountered plenty of customers who are rude, have bad attitudes, cause problems, return vans and/or equipment damaged, or don't return equipment at allâ€¦..why intentionally cause a problem with a customer who is pleasant? What could make this worse? I rented the van to transport flower and balloon arrangements to my mother's funeral/memorial service that very morning. I was mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted. I just wanted to go home and cry. But instead, I'm verbally assaulted and insulted by a Uhaul employee for paying for and returning a van in perfect condition. You know how there are unnecessary acts of violence? This feels like that. There are too many other UHaul dealers in the area to intentionally subject yourself to even the slightest possibility of dealing with this very aggressive individual. Give your business to local dealers who care about the revenue.JADE A.

The leesburg, Fl location was outstanding. Vicki and Amanda were helpful and on time as they said they would be for drop off. Very happy with this location. The Hobart, Indiana/Forest Park, Illinois areas are a ridiculous. Someone needs to look into customer service. Trying to get to someone took 2 plus hours (each) with multiple family members on the phone at different times. Then when you reach a customer service it's " not their job" and you are transfered to be put on hold 45 plus minutes, over and over. One night we called at 11pm trying to reach anyone. Spoke to a Adam, Nicole and Rekeete(spelling) Adam forgot to add the extra ubox but put it in the notes, no delivery, calling all day. Finally order another thru Nicole and that ubox misses that delivery date. Again time wasting sitting on hold, calling the location office and calling the corporate number for help. NOTHING Go thru the chat, they can't help because it's not what they are for on chat. Separate order early this year for my uncle, couldn't get anyone to pick up the box, when I spoke with the sub contractor he said he was to busy after missing the pick ubox 1 week plus, I was able to reach him to inform him he was going to get hit with back charges from the new home owner as the ubox's continue to block the driveway for the new owners. FINALLY a pick up If I'm paying for a service, I would think I should be able to receive delivery in a timely matter or Speak to someone that could possibly set up a delivery . Please don't reply with it's hard to get labor workers. No one had a problem taking my 3,000.kim M.

Get out of the ubox business. You all obviously don't know what you're doing. Nobody knows where the boxes are or when they will be picked up. This was the worst and most costly moving experience I've ever had. I could have rented a trailer and made 3 trips with my truck and still would have spent less than these Uboxes cost me. For my next move, I'll definitely know better than to use this shitty service. Ended up costing me more time in countless hours of sitting on hold and trying to reach someone who actually knows something.Ron K.

The black young lady who works the desk with the blond eye brows and blond braids was EXTREMELY rude to me.. after quoting me for a 17ft truck, she mistakenly charged me for a 10ft. She also told me it was only available for 4 hrs when she quoted. After realizing she gave me the wrong truck I returned to the desk and another young lady (Jada) assisted. She then looked and realized the 17ft was still available and went to switch the reservation. She also noted it was available the entire day. As she was switching, the young lady with the blond hair was next to her servicing another customer and informed her that she had given the last 17ft that was promised to me, to her current customer. I informed her that she had already promised me the truck but had mistakenly charged and given me the smaller truck. She proceeded to ignore me and book the other customer with a complete disregard for myself. She was beyond rude, never even bothered apologizing for her mistake. Jada stepped in and gave us a 15ft truck that was apparently against policy, but she bent the rules to try and rectify the situation. I appreciate her for that but I was extremely upset at the treatment and blatant rude disregard from the blond. I wanted to leave the truck and use another location but I knew I'd be hard pressed to find one. I will not use this location again, but for future reference, she should be given training and some sort of reprimand that will assure that she will handle customers with care next timeTIFFANIE S.

Your staff need to listen to the customer. They need to repeat, or find a way to let the customer know they hear and understand their questions. Your staff needs to stop being snarky, smart mouthed, filled with attitude. Your staff needs to be kind and courteous when someone is talking. Look them in the eye. One of the young ladies that assisted me was pleasant, the other had an unpleasant attitude. I was given one unit, and a lock was already on it. The unit I have has glue mouse traps all over so I can't use the space in the corners! Also I don't want mice in my belongings! I'm going to find somewhere else because this is disturbing and is also prohibiting me from full use of the space. Unfortunately, I had no other choice in the moment because I couldn't find another facility on such short notice. I would not recommend this site.Colette K. | First Impressions
After the disaster of driving to Joliet to get a trailer that was not returned, (no phone call to let us know), the employee there looked everywhere to find us another one. After being on hold for 25 minutes found a great dispatcher that found us a larger trailer at the Park Forest location. That's a lot of driving. There needs to be better communication.JOHN B.

I had to go to this location because the Matteson location didn't have the vehicle that I reserved and never even called. I would rate the Hotwire Electronics, 21750 Main St #5, Matteson IL location a VERY POOR The Park Forest location did a good job of helping out of that difficult situation I was put in by the Matteson location.Randy P.

We were not in the best of areas so it was a bit unnerving. This should not have been our responsibility to start off. Get your stuff together U-Haul. Bad truck with check engine light that popped on during a long trip between states. Didn't get the truck I originally reserved an entire MONTH in advance. The storage unit I requested a month in advance wasn't available either. There is a pandemic and THEY DIDNT CLEAN THE TRUCK AFTER THE PERSON BEFORE ME. The previous customer pulled up and they told me that this was my truck. Worst experience ever. Who cares about convenient hours.
