Absolutely no one I met who was working on there was wearing a mask not even under their chin, no mask at all. 5 different people and no masks. Also there was spillage inside on drink well. I took pictures as I left not to get the blame. A lot of waiting both bringing and dropping off. In the past if I book the time it's waiting for me and you just drop it off and put key in box. I asked one guy if I could just drop it off and he told me abruptly he would charge me an extra $20 and just wait.emma B.

The gentleman who took the tow dolly was very nice. He did ask how our Uhaul experience was and we did tell him about our issue in the other location. He states that women normally don't attach the cars to the hitch. I was like that is discriminating now! Women can do it, is she probably didn't want to or wasn't train. Large facility, but understaffed. Long wait in the office with only one desk person. Would be better to hand keys off to a lot attendant with an explanation than handing me the key and saying, â€œjust give one of the folks thisâ€, and having no indication on where to go. Lot person simply stopped the truck, got out, and walked away. No instruction on the truck (thankfully, I'm a CDL holder and have a clue as to how to drive). 5 bags of blankets were not loaded and a special trip had to be made back to the site to get them the next day to load. Crew had to wait. And again, no office help meant a long wait. Truck was clean in the cargo area, but leaked in the â€œmoms atticâ€. No damage to my property, but did soak some boxes. Cab was not clean. Dash and windshield were filthy. Overall, I would not recommend this facility. Receiving facility in Iowa was great!Christopher D.

When returning via uhaul.com/share, I ran into a problem with the â€œshare your location stepâ€. The pop up instructions were very clear and immediately fixed â€œmy problemâ€ ðŸ˜‚... everything else was very smooth, easy, and the staff was professional and friendly.John M.
Customer service was AWFUL. There were literally NO instructions when we picked up the truck. They handed us the keys and that was it. No explanation of how the text feedback worked - not by the customer service rep I talked to when I made the reservation OR the person who handed us the keys. We returned the truck with EXACTLY the amount of fuel we left with but that did not match the records when we arrived, so we were sent out to replace about 3 gallons or they were going to charge us over $40 as a refuel fee. when we returned, there was only ONE employee assisting about 5 people. We waited another 30 minutes to return the truck after waiting 30 minutes the first time. We rent for business purposes and this is our 3rd year renting from this location but it will be our last. We will try NOT to rent from Uhaul as we have had a difficult experience with every rental location.PETER A.

The unit had no lock and I was advised of wrong times to access the drive up bay, so while already having a stressful day and putting everything myself & 2 small kids own I'm storage myself, I had a tall man with a mustache rush me out. Anytime I'm there although other people's children are being loud leaving food behind , he finds something to say to my 11 year old daughter. The original drop off was 4510 Babcock st at a BP storage and UHaul place. When I tried to drop off the trailer there, Bob (? Owner or Manager) was the rudest person that I have dealt with in a long time. He stated to me â€œI'm not UHaul, I'm storage.â€ Meanwhile there are all UHaul truck and equipment around on the property. He wouldn't allow me to drop the trailer there. That was the drop off on my contract! No one from UHaul contacted me with a change and I told him that and he couldn't care for less.Bruce P.

I never received my receipt as promised, thus I had to physically go to the turn in location the next day where I found out that the person who received the truck never closed the account, thus the customer rep at the location was very professional and after I showed her a picture of the mileage and full tank she went and closed my account and documented that the vehicles was in fact at the location. This was a total inconvenience because I had to drive to the turn in location the next day. My appreciation to the lady who took care of the paperwork who was very polite and treated me with compassion and was sensitive to my needs. Great customer service despite the facts. My guess is that the young men who accepted the truck was probably tired, in any case he didn't do his job and caused me to worry about it.Carlos R.

1. Booked an in store reservation which took me over an hour. 2. Was told when I return to store for pickup I don't need to join the line. 3. Return to store and waited in the line for 1 hour. While waiting another customer engaged me and telling me of his past negative experiences with U-haul 4.Howard was by customer rep. When I approached him he began fumbling basically doing nothing that I could see that was holding him up from proceeding with me. After 3 minutes I asked what does he need to start me. He said "Oh I need to input my password" By this time my patience ran thin with him. 5. I am giving him information so that he can check a first and secondary person. Then he accused me of giving him the same name twice which is not true. 6. I reiterated with Howard 5 times I must have a Dolly in truck. He said a Dolly comes in the truck I just need to break the seal. 7. Got truck. I noticed the rep didn't open the back of the truck to inspect it. 8. 45 minutes into my journey, I opened the back and there was no Dolly. I called back the office to see if I could have picked up a Dolly at a another office instead of coming to Melbourne, no answer from the office. 9. I returned to Howard office. There was an even longer line. So I went to the front and told the girl I have no Dolly in the truck. She said she will be with me. 10. Then Howard appeared, and I asked him how could you rent me a truck with no Dolly after asking for one about 5 times. At this moment, I was fuming. He said he will give me one. I noticed he never showed any empathy by apologizing. At that moment, I realized his actions were carefree. A white male customer joined with Howard (who is also white) and said to me he said he is going to fix it so leave him alone. I do not know the customer, the customer had no knowledge of what I have been through but he placed himself in the conversation. So I had to asked who is he and he needs to be stay out. The customer raised his voice at me and called me many names including I am a BITCH. At that moment, Howard handled the situation by telling me to get the hell of his store and I noticed the white male customer was allowed to continue staying in the store, who had no business in the matter and called my derogatory names. I realized that the situation was becoming unhealthy so I left the store. After waiting another, 4 minutes outside, Howard came out to give me a Dolly. I took the opportunity to ask him can you understand how you have inconvenient me. He replied" No I do not". I told him I will report him. He said" go right ahead" This is my opinion. Howard knows that he has privileges so the chances that Management would affect him negatively is none to zero. That's why he will get away with these behaviorsDIANE C.

1. The wait time to see an agent is ridiculous never less than 45mins and i've rented at various times and days. Fix:have a dedicated agent to process online reservations at all times of the operating shift. To get these people that took the time to and forethought to completing transaction on line. 2. The facility and staff are not covid safe. Some wear mark and other don't. How are you protecting your consumers from covid 19 with long wait lines and not requiring patrons and worker to wear ppe protection. 3. Safety of your employees should be a major concern. I have witnessed multiple factor that have caused me to cringe. You are on a fast track to multiple employee related law suits. 4. Wear rain gear when it is raining. Someone will call ohsa soon I'm guessing. You really need to send this review up the chain to a person that can evaluate and verify and actual do something to implement change.Timothy Y.
