The lights on the trailer that was assigned to me were inoperative, so I was assigned another one. Apparently, this was not updated in the system or some other glitch. When I turned the trailer in in Key West the representative walked out, unhooked the trailer, backed it into a spot and just walked away. Then, he looked at the paperwork, turned around and came back to me and asked to see my rental agreement. I explained that the original trailer'sn lights didn't work so they swapped it. He just turned and walked away. I asked if I was clear and he just gave a dismissive wave and kept walking. A week later I recieved an email saying I had not turned in my trailer. I spent several hours on the phone, with numerous transfers that never led anywhere. I also went to the rental location twice and finally, I hope, was told it would be taken care of. All in all the worst rental experience I've ever had to deal with. Next time, I'll go with whoever else is available.Kevin W.

Disappointed that our 10ft truck did not have a ramp or a dolly. Being unfamiliar with truck renting, it would have avoided a major convenience and backache to have been told this when I came in to reserve the truck. A young lady, I believe her name was Leilani, was very pleasant to interact with. Howeverâ€¦ your employee, Jeremy Clark was very rude and abrupt when I returned the truck. The customer service from Jeremy the black guy who help me on my return was very rude. I tried to ask questions regarding my rental and his questions were evasive. I asked for his name and he told me it was blueberry. I believe I may have been overcharged as well. I'm not sure if I'll rent from this location again.TERICA S.
The airbag light stayed on ion the vehicle. The rep I reserved the 10 ft box truck screwed up and had me picking up at 7pm and returning at 7am. I got there to pick up and was told it was reserved for the night before and they had none available for me. I had to go to another location and rent a 15 ft box truck that was more than I needed. Both the pick up and drop off locations worked out well for me. They are totally different operations. The pick up location was a "car wash" with a side business of a U-Haul rental location. The drop off location was clearly a full-time, professional U-Haul operation. Different business plans but both were perfect for me.Daniel L.

Take the truck i rented (the 25 year old GMC) to the junk yard. Decommission it. It is dangerous, cant drive straight, gets 5 mpg, and is beat up. They managed to give me the oldest truck while im 20 weeks pregnant, meanwhile the new ford trucks were sitting still in the lot.Lauren D.
I already reported that I was given the wrong U Haul pick up site. The van I used was not clean. The front windshield was so thick with build up I could barely see out of it. It made driving unsafe. The van had cloth seats that were nasty with cat hairs and they were very smelly. To top it off there were roaches! I killed 4 baby roaches in the rear area of the van. This site is not cleaning the vehicles. The manager at this store was very unfriendly and did not seem to care if customers were satisfied or not. Her main concern was checking to see if the gas was correct when I returned the van. I am a manager in my career field, therefore, I know how important customer service is. There'sann P.

The young lady that helped me had an attitude and seemed upset that I came in 5 minutes before closing even though I had a reservation. When I said something about her attitude and demeanor she stated that it's been a long day and she's been carrying the store on her back all day. I responded and told her that I too had a long day and that I packed up and entire apartment with two kids by myself and that I needed to get my storage unit because I have to return the truck at 11pm. She stated that I came in right before they were about to close and they are staying past the time for closing to help me. I advised her that I came in before 7pm so she's obligated to help me. The online rental service sucks. At the last minute, the change my pick up location to one that could not be found using GPS. When contact desk service at this new location, the lady flat out, refuse to give me instruction on how to get there. At the end I cancel the online rental and went to the location at Orange Park, and they save my day. I would NEVER recommend online rental to anyone.Ruben R.

1st truck had a faulty rear door. Employee exchanged trucks immediately. Replacement truck has a ashtray smell, dolly and blankets missing from cargo area. Damages that weren't pictured in the app. Between checking the app requirements on the first then second truck I've wasted an hour of the day. Missing dolly would have streamlined the loading and unloading, costing me to extend rental rather than just paying 10.00 to break the seal on the dolly. I am a little upset. When I reserved the unit, the website said I was eligible for a free month's rent and that all I had to pay at the time was the insurance. A day or two later, I get an email saying that $90 was pulled from my account. So I am still having all of my stuff in the back of a U-Haul truck so I have had to go to the store buy stuff so that I can go to work and then hopefully unload my stuff tonight after work tired ... When I rented my truck on line and it offered the storage with first month free was awesome but it gave me the 5*8 said that it was equal to a two bedroom apartment and that is was 1200 square feet. And that is totally incorrect that I had to get rid of a lot of my furniture that I will now have to rebuy when I get my new place cause I could not fit it all in there and when I was doing it all on line and I rented a 15' truck which was plenty big it would not let me choose a bigger unit that if I would have had a bigger unit I wouldn't have had to get rid of my living room tables not would I have had to get rid of my daughters complete bedroom furniture and my bedroom furniture. So really in the long run it's going to cost me $1000's of dollars to replace that furniture cause your site wouldn't allow me to pick a different storage size. And my daughter's furniture wasn't even 6 months old and I had to just give it away. SMH…… so I would recommend uhaul storage but would tell them to make sure that they choose the size they need so they don't loose thousands of dollars worth of furniture. And also in a climate controlled facility the a/c should keep it cold not for it to be hot and stuffy in there to where it's actually cooler outside and I live in FloridaBeverly N. | Online Move In

Staff at this U-Haul were friendly and helpful. Parking is tight and the driveway around the building is too narrow. U-Haul Corporate is a PITA to deal with - It was difficult to set up and change auto payment, and getting receipts for payments acceptable for expense reimbursement was a monumental exercise...ridiculous and inexcusable in the modern era.Curtis K. | Overall Experience

The loading dock doors being inoperable after office business hours is a bit of an inconvenience. Sometimes moving doesn't allow for being there during business hours and not all items fit through the smaller regular personnel doorways.
