The parking lot and drive area need to be resurfaced, and potholes filled in. I'd also recommend moving the customer service counter for picking up rentals off the back wall and more to the middle of the room. Maybe a circular counter where the employees can observe the whole area and provide service around the perimeter.DANIEL M.

Upon return of the vehicle I was charged for 2 gallons of gas. I filled the gas tank less than a mile from the drop off location. I let the gas pump run until it automatically shut off, which filled the tank. The gas gauge was at the same level as when I picked up the truck. The gauge was slightly below the full mark, which as exactly as it was when I picked up the truck. I should have taken a photo of the gas gauge when I picked up the truck, but I thought since U-Haul said the tank was full, the gauge was not indicating accurately. My advice....document EVERYTHING so you don't get taken advantage of like this!STUART T.

The truck I was assigned was very damaged by a previous renter, I assume. I understand that U-haul would continue renting the truck, which was very drivable. But, the photos pre-populated in the rental agreement showed a pristine truck. I don't think I should have had to spend the first 25-minutes of my rental-time disputing and photo-documenting the condition of the truck in U-haul's inventory. Luckily, I wasn't pressed for timeMAREN A.

The bitterness when ready to return was a little later when was told that I may need it an extra day I was very disappointed in their at Uta tide at me when I was taking ill and put into Hosiptal with emergency surgery and it didn't matter to them they were bitter and non empirical sorry for the enconvincoice I may have casuals any oneSARAH C.
My only reason for not recommending to a friend is that the area of Ogden can get a little strange, I am a single female, often I would be uncomfortable walking to my unit if there were folks gathered outside around the garbage cans and such. I also think it would be great if there was a way to latch the door from the inside while you are in your unit, I understand that you don't want it locked from the inside, but while I was in The storage unit for whatever reason I was nervous. This uHaul location has the best customer service I have seen in a long while! I rented a storage unit and many trucks from this location during my lengthy move. The staff are always very nice, and efficient at their jobs. The rental trucks are always sparkling clean and smell good. The storage unit is absolutely perfect! I love this location! I had an issue with the text to update damage to the truck before I left the parking lot. sierra was very rude and spoke to me as if I were an idiot. Was not willing to help in anyway at all and laughed at my frustration over her unwillingness to help me in any way at all. When I asked for her supervisor she used a snarky rude tone with me. I will never use uhaul again based of my interaction with her. I work in customer service and would never treat a customer as though they are stupid or make it seem like you are laughing at their concern. Very rude and unprofessional. I'll pay Penske or another company to avoid that way of being treated.ALEX D.
Only one person working at the counter inside. Took a long time to get through the two customers before I made it to the counter. Once I made it, the gentleman helping was super friendly. The computer system was kind of glitchy. I had done the online check in and scanned my id the night before, but the computer was asking to scan the id again. Then all of a sudden it decided it did not need to scan. The truck was clean, but when I opened the back it had a really strong smell like cigarette smoke. The smell eventually went away. The fuel tank showed full, however after driving 40 miles I fueled up with 4 gallons of gas so the fuel economy is pretty much un acceptable. Or the truck was not full as agreed at time if pickup.SCOTT H.

Reserved a truck for 9am to 6pm and was confirmed by the costumer service agent the day before. When I arrived I was told the I only had the truck from 9am to 3pm and they had another reservation on that truck at 3pm so if I didn't agree to return by 3pm I couldn't take the truck at all. I didn't have a good experience via phone with representatives prior to move in. They lacked customer service skills and technical communication skills. When I started to ask about my storage unit I was hung up on. I believed the first unit I booked to be online move-in accessible, but I ended up not being able to use the online process for that unit, so I ended up booking a different one. This took a significant amount of time to figure out and disrupted my moving schedule. I also ended up getting charged for the first month despite the deal running for first month free if also booking a u-haul truck. I made a reservation. Had a reservation confirmation, and when I went to move in, I was told the reservation meant nothing because there weren't any spaces available. I was told it was first come, first serve which I thought the reservation would help with. It didn't. Fortunately, on the day I needed the spot, one did become available and they contacted me and offered it to me, which i appreciate.
