Each time I encountered Megan she was so friendly and welcoming. The first time I came for packing supplies and she was very informative and even helped me load my items into my van. The second time she remembered who I was and made me feel valued as a customer. The third time when I dropped of my rental she helped answer questions I had and never made me feel like I was â€œbothering herâ€ you can tell she cares about her customers and their overall experience. My experience was great and I would definitely use this facility again. The only small issue I had was, the elevator in building two is not working properly. The experience was okay. The two women that helped me were focused on making sure that I was told no, before understanding the reason for my visit. I rented the reusable boxes and i came to return them. When I walked in and said that I am here to return the boxes they were confused, and asked if I had a receipt. I told them no, I don't have a receipt then they interrupted me and said, we can't accept a return without a receipt. I said, well I have an electronic copy. The other attendant, said we need a physical copy then I showed her the electronic receipt. She asked the other lady, â€œwhat do I do with this?â€ They finally accepted it, but it was not the most warm experience.Kenneth F.

I will no longer be renting from uhaul. This is the third time in a row I have scheduled a truck for one location and then received a phone call less than twelve hours before pick up time that the truck is mysteriously no longer available, and I'll now have to drive twice as far to another location at a different pickup time. Customer service was very rude and not helpful with explanation. She expected you to already know and understand the rental process. I felt like I was a bother in coming to the facility to rent the car. The parking for customer to leave the personal car is not accommodating in proximity of retrieving the rental. Our initial data we came to store our things we had a sales representative who didn't seem to know anything about the units and their sizes and rented us a unit that was way too large. Because we were using movers to move us in we had no way of moving the storage to another unit later. We ended up paying $230 monthly for 11 months. We even had the wrong info given to us regarding the storage place closing hours where we were originally supposed to go which was Annapolis MD and so my husband and the movers went there for nothing costing us more money then finally ended up at the odenton MD location which is where everything else happened. I reserved two furniture dollies and upon arrival was told there were none. I insisted they check for at least one, as I had brought one of my own as a backup. They walked outside the office door and one was sitting just outside the door. I could have gone to Lowes and bought one but I called two days before to confirm they'd have them. They also never said there would be a problem getting all the reserved equipment when the reservation was confirmed the day prior to the rental. If the equipment is unavailable the customer should be notified. Other than that, the process here was very smooth.Brian A.

The manager Felicia is amazing. Her customer service was one of the most pleasant interactions I've had at a uhaul facility. We recently just moved and were delayed a bit in our travels. So when we arrived at the storage unit our reservations ended up being cancelled. Felicia was able to find us a recently vacant unit of the same size. The truck was missing the muffler when I drove it off of the lot, it was very loud and attracted too much attention. Facility and staff were 200%Alex K.
I ordered a u-haul truck in advance at a Laurel MD location and the guy working there could not rent it to me. Due to the computer not letting him. So the main office got me a new truck at a differ location, which was out of my way and waisted my moving time. Next time I order a truck at a certain place. Make sure it is available for pickup at that location.Anthony B.
Make sure to explain that they have to use the APP to certify that the truck is clean and functional. Two trucks two weekends in a row and not explained either time, Also go over the contract with the person, I was not told that after-hours drop off was an additional $20. However, your associate was kind of enough to wait the extra five minutes that it took me to go fuel up the truck. His customer service level made my experience much better.He should be praised by his superiors.ANDREW C.

The experience was great. Got truck at last minute on a friday at the end of the month. It was last one. Only 2 minor gripes: first we could not see starting or endig mileage due to a warning maintenance msg on odometer the whole time. Second at drop off it was very easy, just a couple quick ?'s(Did you clean out truck-yes, did you fill fuel to same at pickup-no we filled it to full. (Was worried of a surprise fuel fee. Only 1/2 full at p/up. Cost me extra $30). But my 2nd gripe was that they said they'd send receipt email but what they sent was a bill with 3 days to pay or a $30 late fee. HOWEVER THE BILL WAS CORRECT. Simple adding in my head would've made me realize I owed more. I paid over the phone easily with very nice lady at Corp. But I would have preferred to pay right then at the dropoff. No biggie tho. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5 STARS Everyone friendly, helpful, professional, truck worked great, had moving supplies priced cheap, left car there & no problems. Definitely would use again and refer others.
