The second floor isles was very hot not kept cool at all. Numerous items got mold on it and had to be thrown away. It wasn't that way when I moved in. The prices were very high for the amount of space I had. Found a much cheaper price at Life storage.TAMRA S. | Overall Experience

Equipment should be checked in properly and timely upon return. The staff should be more knowledgeable regarding how to properly operate the systems they use to ensure customers are not continuously charged for equipment that has been returned. The appearance from the street isn't inviting. There are only 4 or 5 parking spaces and if someone is getting propane then 2 of those are blocked. I rented my unit on the Uhaul app and it initially sent me to the incorrect address on 103rd st. They were very helpful, their facility clean and uncluttered. Had they had the size unit I needed I would have stayed there. They directed me to the to the correct address, I arrived and they were closed. One is open until 7:00 pm, one until 5:30 pm.Harold J. | First Impressions

I was charged a unauthorized cleaning fee without being notified. Although it was refunded after i contacted the office, I felt it was unprofessional. The representative stated that it was for a cleaning fee but the email stated that it was for rent, in which I had already moved out. The truck that I was given was a nightmare! It was so loud, the check engine light was on and it sounded like the muffler had either fallen off or was about to. I ended up with a migraine. Being charged almost 80.00 for a crap truck that has clearly not been maintained, is outrageous. I will be removing my items from the storage unit soon and will not use this locations equipment.JENNIFER W.

I had a reservation but when I got there they had given my unit away. The woman working the desk informed me that her manager down the street was sending people to them and giving units that were already booked. She tried to find me another unit that matched the one I had reserved, however there weren't any available. Since I had to return my U-Haul to another location, I wound up having no choice but to take a larger unit that isn't climate controlled for more money (which they wouldn't price match when I asked). The truck was not in rentable condition. It had a horrible shake going down the interstate. I have video of how bad it was. The shake was so bad that it made me sick. Had to stop twice from being nauseous.Joshua C.
I was 1st given a storage unit that was in use. The 2nd storage unit I was given I was told I had to pay $5 extra because it was a drive up unit. The storage unit I ended up with, there were construction workers breaking the concrete and redoing it so we were in the way. Just terrible. Definitely wouldn't recommend this uhaul location.Tierra S.

I tried on the day of my reservation to try to reconnect with U-Haul (general number) by phone: 1) first on hold 30 min. no connection with a representative 2) then on hold 45 min. no connection with a representative 3) I went on-line, created an account - result "this page does not exist" the communication with U-Haul is more than challenging anybody's patience, it is intolerable. I let the staff know about my experience. THAT PART is not recommendable of U-Haul, otherwise, renting and getting equipment, return etc was fine.SUSANNE S.

At this location I did not feel safe leaving my car, as there was NO parking. The truck interior was filthy. The biggest problem was the check in process using my phone. I watched the video and it didn't have any mention of secondary proof of identification. When I gave my wife's phone number she didn't answer. Most people don't answer calls from numbers they don't know. Who carries their passport around or the other items they asked for. It ahould be made VERY CLEAR that you have to pay mileage on top of th $19.95. I will not use Uhaul again. Not because of the location but because of the way you do business and the online check in. Also when I made my reservation, it was at a different location than what I had selected. I guess because they might not have had what I requested. However, their was a location closer to me that had multiple trucks available. I almost forgot, the reason there was no parking was because some auto mechanic set up shop in one of your units in the front.John R.

I've used U-Haul for all of my moves and I have always been very impressed with the equipment and service I received when booking the time frame for when I needed the vehicle. they did not explain the pricing or the process, i was under the impression i could drop off the truck to a different location on my side of town, that was wrong and it charged me even more money. He just looked at me and said i have no choice now. i would not have gotten a uhaul for 68 dollars to drive a mattress across town if i had to return the truck back to the same location across town.AND 150$ to drop it at a different location?? that is insane!! i was okay spending the 48$ i thought that was much, but i get it. But i only had 65 dollars in the bank so now my bank account is in the negatives because the unclear explaination of pricing.darcy M.

The Uhaul office staff were great. I had been there 30 minutes prior to them opening but the Uhaul self check in was not working, as they did not tell me, when I made my reservation online, that I would need 2 contacts to verify my identity. Nobody I knew was up at that time and able to answer their phone. I was very frustrated as this set back cost me a helper with my task. Mr. Pena quickly got me checked in and on my way. When I got back Jessica came right out to check the vehicle in. Aside from the awkward entry and exit, the location is good. I will never use the Uhaul self check in again.RACHEL S.

I had no idea that I would need approval for my rental request until I arrived at the location upon my reserved time. I was using the app and only then was I notified that I needed to provide a contact for verification. I just moved to a new state/city and I only know 1 person. She wasn't available to answer the call for verification. I couldn't take a picture of my lease because I didn't have it with me but I had an electronic version that I could have uploaded if that was an option, but it wasn't. Fortunately the manager was very helpful and courteous and was able to assist me with the rental. If the office had been closed it would have been a disaster. I should have been approved or notified that approval was required prior to the reservation time.Jennifer C.
