Customer service is not good!!!

Helpful manager. He went and loaded everything and pulled truck up for me.

Bed need cleaned after previous customer. I was also asked to “fold my own blankets” when I returned a dozen that I had rented. I was told that if I did not, I would be charged $2 per blanket! What??? First, the blankets were a little dirty, so who wants that? But, unfolded the blankets, dirty and all. 2 things - customer service - fold my own blankets? Seriously? Second, hope that the same blankets were not just rented back out without being checked. Which means, of course, that they would have to be unfolded to check! This “policy” needs a review - and revision!

You charged me for destination and that was wrong as I LISTED BENNETTSVILLE AS my destination. You didn't tell me which location to return it too. I returned it in great condition. You failed. Please refund the wrong location fee.

The mileage is to high come on down with price

Great: The staff helping me drop off the truck and trailer was super fast and friendly. Problem: I was charged for extra miles on my trip from MN to SC. How does UHaul know how many miles I would drive? I drove to Albert Lea, MN; Des Moines, Kansas City, St. Louis, Memphis, Birmingham and then Atlanta before my stop in SC. For weather to be better I traveled south first to get out of the icy roads and approaching storms. I should NOT have been charged extra miles for the few extra miles traveling south (to get out of the winter weather) and then east. To charge for additional miles is not very customer friendly given the $1,900.00 I paid UHaul for my trip not including the gas fill- ups. The number of miles allowed should be increased on the cross-country trips.

Beautiful, well maintained facility, great staff and great service. This location has anything and everything you need for a move, big or small. Lots of supplies available and every type of vehicle available in there line. Also indoor storage available at this location...they have it all.

Great customer service

The manager at this location is very rude and inpatient. I went to pick up my truck on Jan 2nd. The manager became very mad when I try to change my 10' truck to 15' truck since my online reservation is a 10' one. He didn't go through all the details with me before I sign, also he charged me with irrelevant insurance. Overall, I'll never go to this location and won't recommend to anyone!!!!!!

Got charged on the items we did not even used. Everything was in original seal when truck returned, but still got the charge on receipt for using moving pad.

A error was made by the facility which caused me to not have access to my unit once. I attempted to resolve the situation politely by explaining my encounter with the company to the manager . The manager responded by being very unprofessional and rude during our call while knowing they were at fault for the situation. I personally would not recommend them to anyone due to the lack of professionalism and customer service I experienced during that time.

They were very helpful as the online booking made my process very difficult.

My situation, the girl that rented me the truck called when I was driving back up the road complaining about where I parked my vehicle .she threatened to have it towed if I didn't come and move it . The same person seen me getting my personal stuff out of my truck and did not say anything about where my vehicle was parked . After talking to her I explained I was about an hour and a half away and she still insisting that I moved the vehicle or it would be towed. This is when I was driving , so now I'm worried about my vehicle getting towed and not focused on pulling a vehicle down the road. Was not a happy camper!!!

I picked up a moving truck, car hauler and trailer on a move to Panama City Florida. The young lady was very, very busy therefore could not get my credit card to go through even though I had just used it and used it again when I left to fill up the truck. I reluctantly gave her my debit card to use because I needed the equipment to make this move. Also, she put the wrong vehicle down on the paper work which caused me a huge inconvenience when I went to check in. Again this was a huge a very very long inconvenience because the man was there by himself and was trying to help a lot of propriety at a time and people screaming and hollering for him to help meanwhile We are stuck in the middle of this mess with a truck that can't be checked in and he had to finally call corporate to try and get this straight after a 14 hour drive in a moving van that was extremely slow at best. The staff at Panama City where we turned the trailer in were right on target getting the trailer turned in polite, cordial and professional. They were staffed appropriately. Otherwise it was mess turning in a truck with 12000 miles less than the truck I was supposed to have.

First I would like to thank Steven August for answering his cell phone while on the road, on vacation. If not for Steven taking control and handling my issue I wouldn’t know that U-Haul made a mistake with our storage unit. So thank you 🙏🏽 Steven August and for you I will remain a customer and refer your U-Haul. Happy Thanksgiving

Make sure you check your equipment I received a truck at night time you can see where you going lights are pointing straight down. Shakes really bad and the steering wheel had a lot of play in it. I was honestly very afraid of driving the truck.

Amazing service and staff

The staff was courteous. The facility had continuous issues with unlit alarms and access after office hours. The final straw was the night of Nov. 7th I had professional movers come to finish packing for our move to Utah and was unsuccessful gaining access to the building. The movers had to go, so I was forced to finish my move with a rental trailer cost and an additional months rent on my storage unit because it renewed on the 9th. The person who was in charge, Steve, acknowledged the problem with access to the building and apologized for the inconvenience but UHaul corporate does not assist with discounts..

Insect and mice issue in storage unit. Several items damaged. Moisture problem as well. Mold on furniture after only 8 months.

Equipment should be swept out before new rental customer. Storage unit should be better protected from insects and rodents. Many spiders and cocroaches. Signs of mice. Several items had to be thrown out due to this.

Employee Steve August went above and beyond to help us during a very difficult situation. He put our needs above his own personal need to assist us. Top notch employee that deserves the highest recognition! Thank you, Steve.

Great place to rent a trailer or truck. Customer friendly and professional.

The only issue i had was that I reserved a 15 foot truck and ended up getting a 26 foot truck. I was disappointed that I was not given a discount due to the extra fuel I needed to spend to drive a much larger truck than I reserved. I feel that there should had been some type of compensation for this.

Steve was rude and arrogant. Would only say what he couldn't do.

Everything went great! All the U-HAUL associates did a great job!

I was not able to access my storage space after office hours and it almost cost me a job! The staff didn’t really care that the lock code didn’t work! I canceled because of it!

Everything was in system when I arrived, so no wait and truck was ready rental time line was good and option to extend

*********BOGUS CHARGES************ Returned unit at 4:30PM, and they close at 7PM. I was given a charge for late return, as this group didn't return the unit until the next day. I've had to call and wait extended periods on the phone with U-Haul billing. They had to call this location, since they can't correct on their end. Now I have to wait another extended period on this location to call me and try to resolve again.

If you rent a transport trailer make sure the vehicle your renting it for will fit. My silverado did not and i never received a notice of credit for the trailer.

Cody was the person on duty when we picked up and dropped off our equipment. He was friendly and efficient. The check in and drop off processes were painless. Thanks!

The attendant said he would email me confirmation that I returned the truck and I never got it. No problem but the other times I have received that confirmation.

I had to wash the inside of the windshield when I picked it up.

Only reason it wasn't excellent was because I rented an Appliance dolly, but it wasn't available when I got to the store.

The general manager was very helpful.

Only one thing stands out that needs a fix. The staff is great but you are understaffed. There should be a minimum of 2 people there ALL the time. It is not right to expect ONE person to do this job, can not be done. Steve August is the best. Like most places today they understaff their business. Uhaul, be different than the rest hire more staff.

The store worker was very nice and informative and he showed us where our unit was explained how to properly lock and secure our unit He had a pleasant welcoming attitude the whole process was quick the building was clean the elevator was clean the location is perfect area right off the highway it’s the best experience I ever had

The location was convenient, and easily accessible. I got locked out of the unit with no real notice. Management would not return emails requesting help. The storage unit leaked water on my belongings, ruining a few pieces of furniture, and there was no attempt to make it right. I get opting out of the insurance, but not even an apology or attempt to fix the unit. It was as if I should have known that was a risk of renting a storage unit. I would not recommend.

storages were extremely dirty, full of spider webs and spiders, had to sweep it out and spray before I could put anything in it

Love, love, love the climate control storage units. Staff friendly and helpful. The only needed is better layout of numbers to guide you to the right place. It is a bit confusing upstairs on the second floor in finding your unit. Love the convenience of being able to drive truck inside to load/unload if raining. A++++

Daniel was the representative that checked me in and played a video game the entire time while briefly informing me of the most important things I should check. An I now have to pay the price.

The side entrance in and out of the place to get your items moved is absolutely insane! You have to have door stops to hold the door open so it won’t close on you. Not access friendly at all.

One thing I would recommend as far as the facility. They offer you a free storage, doesn't mean we don't deserve to have it clean and presented well. One young lady, could of had a better attitude.

I would never rent from there again. My building was broken into and my merchandise was stolen. It was the worst experience I ever had.

My only issue was because my unit was burglarized. The outdoor units were new and in the process of being secured with cameras. The manager,Steve, was awesome!!! He totally took care of me. Thanks!
