Don't try to extend your contract. Especially if they say That the vehicle is already rented for the evening and that â€œthey don't have any vehicles on the lotâ€ (even if they actually do have more on lot). Because they will charge you an additional Rental day due to every inconvenience you do to other customers that were supposed to rent that vehicle till you return it.Kris L.

someone should've told me at the outset that I'd need to return the truck at the green awning in the back, not the front desk. Also, it took more than 10 minutes to get serviced after placing truck where it needed to be. other than that I'm satisfied.William M.

Before renting, they didn't clean the outside of the pickup I used. Then when I got back I was charged another 25$ for a cleaning fee of mud which was not caused by me. Clearly the mud was dry and I only had the truck for 2 hours. So before you let customers rent, be sure the truck is washed because that is their job as employees, and tell customers what to look for . Will NOT be going to this location ever again.JEFFERY C.
I had an important meeting in Las cruces and no rental cars were available. My only other other option was to rent a truck from u haul which was easy and painless. Unfortunately for me I left a planner book in the truck when I checked it back in. I received a call from Mark about it and it was arranged to have it sent back to my home in Oregon. Very rude and all they could say is that they could not help with my car transport. If I left it behind to off load the truck ,they would not take responsibility. All they said saiid is well carports get stolen from here all the time so if that happens you will be responsible.. so I assume the staff steals them since they now the customer hasn't fully turned in the equipment. I filled the tank to where it was marked on the rental paperwork, the staff member argued that I was missing gas and he charged me $6. -really ???Angel S.

Customer service was outstanding! The equipment performed perfectly. If I had to make a complaint it would be that the floor of the trailer was buckled and creaked a lot. The retainers either need replacement or tightening. But it was minor.James L P.

The Uhaul Dyer location in El Paso had an available spot for me to store my belongings in a hurry. I was able to book same day storage and the front desk crew was very helpful in explaining the agreement, showing me on a map where my unit was located, and offered advice on the proper way to secure my storage unit. My original reservation was for a 26 foot truck set to be picked up using the 24/7 option at a different location. However my reservation never showed in the app. We arrived at the original location and it was closed and we were unable to pick up our truck. I stayed on hold with the 24 hour line for 38 minutes with no answer. My wife finally called an actual u haul store and they were able to switch our reservation to their location. This mishap caused us to be late all day. I will most likely use uhaul again, however I will never book online again because instead of being effortless as advertised it was a hassle that created way more stress than it was worth.JONATHAN J.

If I can recommend. If a person makes an online reservation please make sure the vehicle is ready. I went in, the service was good. People are polite but as the contract was being prepared I was told there was â€œ no gasâ€ in the truck and they asked me if I didn't mind putting gas and I would receive a credit. I didn't mind at all. Then they went to get the keys. Well I was waiting outside for 10 minutes didn't see anyone pull up I then went inside and when I went inside the rep tells me there was an issue. The truck I reserved is not at location there was a mix up online information and location BUT I am being upgraded with another bigger truck for the same price. I'm thinking I never agreed to the â€œupgradeâ€ but ok. The rep was making the contract while I'm waiting outside for my reserved truck. I also ask if I'll be given the 50 offered online for the â€œreservation guaranteeâ€ so the rep tells me to wait for the manager. The manager tells me I will not receive it because he offered a solution. I'm being upgraded to a bigger truck with no extra cost and told me â€œ I assume you need the truckâ€ I was given the keys. Didn't know where this â€œupgradedâ€ truck was at in the parking lot. I found it with the new contract paper work. I guess they don't have to pull up the truck for you. Wasted timeFRANCISCA Q.

My unit was not properly sealed. As a result everything was covered in dirt. The staff was rude and seemed annoyed with having to do anything. Their were two employees that were pleasant but the manager especially infuriated me as he found it a good idea to play tough guy with me on my concern with my move out. Instead he came in and said do we have a problem! Instead of asking me what my concern was and how he could help me. Then he tried to justify his actions with my 84 year old father who also was not impressed with his way of his way of handling the situation. After this I decided it was not worth arguing with him and told him to stop talking and just close out my account. He then told me he could just just make me leave at which point I told him I would leave when my account was closed. His response was do you have an email to send me the receipt at which point I told him to just print the receipt and he said " you know what I am out of paper so you will just have to give me your email" I told him the go and get some "explitve" paper because I am not leaving here without a receipt! Low and behold the printer magically had paper in it and he printed it and I left. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I admit I was not kind to the manager throughout our interaction due to the way he came in and spoke to me and my father but if he would have handled it in a better way I would have left and probably just left it alone. Instead he chose a very poor path and as a result it is ending with not one but two very poor reviews on every possible site we can find to post a review on. And to everyone we know. This is not a reflection on All U-haul facilities as I have had many. But this location is very Poorly run.Rodney B. | Overall Experience
