We got there a half hour before the scheduled pickup time (I made a reservation online and already had all of my information entered) and it was a good thing we did because we were in line the entire 30 minutes. A cranky old couple behind us only made matters worse. Once another associate was able to help us we were only in the building for about 2 minutes while she pulled up my reservation and then she brought our truck around. ALWAYS MAKE A RESERVATION! I also understand being understaffed (there were only 2 employees in sight the entire time I was there) but an effort should be made for more people to be scheduled during busy times of the year (OSU off-campus move-in weekends).Alexandria K.

The receipt was not clear - the amount we were charged was more than the total quoted plus our local sales tax. Not significantly more, but $5 or so. I'd think the receipt should show all charges including sales tax so you can see that it all adds up to what you paid.Greg T.
I was very impressed with the service given, l watched a customer in front of me was tired and very rattled, the gentlemen waiting on her was so patient, it was really impressive to see that type of service with things going on now days. Excellent agents at all locations we used. We rented three trucks and one cargo van this August 2021 as we moved two children to college and relocated ourselves to a different city. ALL the rentals went smoothly from check in to check out. Recommend 100%. Our storage unit in Columbus on E. 5th street was very clean, easily accessible, prepared with a lock and key. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Checking in was easy and drop-off was a breeze. Shout out to the guys working in 90 degree heat. Angela was outstanding! She took the time to show me everything and answered all of my questions. She went above and beyond.JAMES W.
First unit had a leaking mess. Given another unit and 1 free month's rent for the inconvenience, but kept getting charged for the free month as well as messages about being late to pay and threatening lock out for nonpayment. I'm very confused because the dates that you're saying I've rented a U-Haul I did not make a U-Haul the amount that I was told I'm being charged was an amount that I've never seen and I've never agreed to pay and last on a rainy U-Haul I already did my customer survey so someone needs to get back in touch with me about the rental that I did not have todayMarquinn B.

The truck had a loose tire. Big safety concern especially that our friends were driving the truck and had to call road assistance to fix it. Delayed our move for a full day and since that we tried to call endless times to file a complaint but the line will hung up after the recording instead of transferring to a real person. Horrible return experience. Pulled into the covered canopy and waited for a representative to come out and check in my trailer (As the sign said to do.) After 15 minutes of no one coming to help, I went inside and was told to look for a "tall guy" outside (who was no where to be found.) Again went inside and was told to pull to the back and someone would come and unhook the trailer. No one ever came. I ended up unhooking the trailer myself (In a down pour rain storm). I asked about a return receipt, as was told by an employee, "I'm good if you are good." Horrible return experience. Watched countless customers go inside and be helped while I was waiting. I was there close to an hour trying to return the trailer.BRYON S.

This was a very busy weekend but the employees were friendly, helpful and courteous. The website however, was very faulty, I was unable to use it either to record already present damage, or to check in remotely when I returned the vehicle, resulting in my having to return to the location when it opened the following day, rather than use remote check in.NORA L.

Truck I rented was over a quart low on oil. I filled it with a full quart just so that it registered between the measurement lines on the dipstick. I saved my receipt for reimbursement as your online truck instructions state.Scott B.

I really enjoyed my experience at this uhaul location as well. The guy that helped me was very nice, funny and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that my car was damaged in the process of using the auto transport. I read in the auto transport information online that the security chains can cause damaged to break lines, fuel lines and other items on your car if not put on properly. The uhaul worker is the one who put on the chains to secure my car. I arrived to drop it off after I moved in to my house and the uhaul worker there removed the chains. Afterwards he told me it was okay to remove the car. After I removed the car from the trailer and I tried to break, nothing happened for quite a while until I completely slammed on the breaks because it felt like I was flying off the trailer. Thank goodness nothing happened, but that was extremely dangerous. Come to find out, my car was leaking fluid and the uhaul worker told me he thinks it's my brake fluid. It is extremely dangerous to drive with no brake fluid and a damaged brake line. I had to drive 15 minutes home with two of my friends, the whole time I was scared for our safety. My car was looked at prior to me moving and putting it on the uhaul transport, so I know this damage was done due to the security chains being either put on wrong or taken off wrong. There was nothing wrong with my brake line beforehand, otherwise my mechanic would've told me. Now they completely do not work and I am out of a vehicle at my new home. I am a very understandable person and I know things happen sometimes, but I would really like someone to contact me so we can resolve this issue. This is not ideal being in a new city and not being able to use a car because damage was done by Uhaul.Evahanna C.
Calling u-haul is a miserable experience: I was on hold 45 mins each time. It's ridiculous that you have to call to confirm an order with no way to automate. Automation would solve for the long wait times. The storage facility did not have my boxes ready when the movers came to pick them up. While it's straightforward to schedule movers to pack u-boxes, it was completely unclear how to schedule movers to unload the boxes, which required multiple calls.Kayla L.

Suggest no one use this location or corporate needs to get a legit manager here. I was charged for 2 days when I only rented from 8am-2pm on the same day, also charged for 60 mi when I drove 15 miles. Corporate told me the manager would review the video tapes and she won't. I had a terrible experience with U-Haul. The location that I was scheduled to pick up my rental was closed and not open. It was in a very unsafe location. I had to call U-Haul and they rescheduled my rental at a separate location. The alternative location was under staffed; I waited at least 45 minutes to get my rental. Due to all of these delays, I missed several other appointments.Kole G.

The main gate was broken/open the entire 1hr plus we were unloading our truck. This unit was selected because it corresponded to the location I requested as drop off. That was subsequently changed and I returned the truck to a different location. While the storage unit location worked out the rest of the online Uhaul process was awful. The only issue I had was with the billing account system. The way it displays your payments/balance is not user-friendly. When looking at the balance column, it shows dollar balances in parenthesis. In any other system, that would mean that there is a credit on your account, but not theirs. That was a bit inconvenient because I had to take the time to try and figure it out and then email my question to the location's GM, Erin. The truck was all over the road. It needs an alignment ASAP!!! I was told by a man named Fred that the entire process time would be 7-10 minutes. It took 50 minutes for me to get the truck and storage unit. The staff needs to be thoroughly crossed train... The the unit door would not slide back to open, so I called an employee to help me to get the door open, and by the time he got back to the unit, I had managed to get it open and unload my car...
