It took 30 minutes to check in at this location. More staff available at 9am may help. The doors on the van did not close properly and required several attempts before the warning on the dash went out.

With the exception of a vehicle that had an oil light come on( and out of caution we were switched to another vehicle), the Barefoot Road facility in Northborough MA, is excellent. I would use the facility again without a second thought.

First of all the gas tank should have been full instead of half full when I picked up the truck. Also I was told I could rent dollies to use and there were none available to rent. Not quite the best service that I had expected from U-Haul

We measured UHaul's superiority over the competition in the following areas: - Customer service: We worked with Felix and Sarah in the Northborough location and they were truly remarkable. This aspect stood out most to us. Sarah went the extra mile to reserve two different sized storage units for us that were across from each other to ensure our convenience. Felix dedicated his time to both us and the movers and made the actual move date very efficient. - Cost: Comparable to the competition, but at this cost, the competition's storage units were not indoors and heated and did not sell moving supplies. - Moving supplies: Order a little more than you think you need and save the receipt. We returned all unused boxes and unopened items for a full refund. We were very happy about this! If you opt to order supplies online, allow for free delivery 2-3 weeks prior to move date. - Heated indoor storage (as stated above). - Several sizes of storage compartments from which to choose. - Access hours were far better than ALL of the area competition! - Indoor lightining and cameras go far to ensure security of belongings. Recommend that phone and in-person communication may provide a more fruitful experience than using the online. Seeing supplies before you buy and taking advantage of professional expertise will leave you satisfied.

The General manager apologized several times for the system issues he was having and stopped at nothing until he was finally able to take of the issue. We are very happy.

The young man who waited on me was rude, refused to give any help "I told you the last time you were here" It was months ago I was there and didn't remember his instructions. He refuse to walk around the truck to note damage before I picked up the truck His reply was "its on the text forms, I told you this when you were here before". A middle aged man did show me how to note damage to the exterior.of the truck. Never saw anything like this ever.

Great accommodations. Staff was professional and very courteous. I recieved this unit free for a month for renting a truck and hauler for my move so this free storage rental came in very handy. Facility clean and like brand new. Very secure. Was given the 10 × 10 unit. 5 stars!!

The truck that was rented to me had over 130,000 miles. The back door latch did not close easily. I have rented several times fro U-Haul in other locations, and was really surprised as to how "beat up" the truck was.

The only concern was the use of Armor all on the floors and gas and brake pedal. Very dangerous. Other than that staff was great and trucks were very clean.

The staff was super friendly and helpful The advise by the associate working the desk to not take Hudson St in Northborough was life saving. I think a sign should be posted in the trucks and at the store location.

We rent trailers for a single day use to pick up Christmas trees in Northborough. With the new rules on credit card usage, it was impossible to have them charged to the troop credit card, as we did in the past. I understand the reasoning behind the change, but it adds a bit of work for us in handling the reimbursements to troop members.

Personnel who came to check on the truck on my return was not professional. 12/22/20 about 10:30am. I had to wait about 20min before he came out , did not even greet or explain the reasons for the delay. Even when he was done checking the truck he waited several minutes before telling me he was done. I'm not sure if he was sick but I dont thing he has interest in his job. I use this place a lot, my first time meeting this guy. Other staffs are good.

Truck was Very dirty. Radio didnt work. Defective equipment. Unsafe center seat, seat would not lock into position. Employee didnt know basic information on rental details. I rent numerous trucks from this location this was a bad experience.

Get the charges correct. I was overcharged about 150 miles the day before Xmas & u took that mo way from my account which ruined my Xmas plans for my kids!! I sent an email & still haven’t gotten a response 5 days later!!!

He was very fast though, and seemed to be handling the group of customers as best as he could. I would think for a Saturday morning at the end of the month that their would have been more staffing.

I had come in to secure a 24 hour rental of a moving van the Wednesday prior to the Friday evening pick up of the rental. I was able to complete all the documents and took a printout that that stated it was for 24 hours. Upon arriving to pick the rental up I confirmed that it be back within 24hours. The attendant then told me it needed to be back by noon the next day. I showed her the paperwork she gave me with the 24hours highlighted by her. I asked her to contact the manager and she then handed me a card to contact the mgr. I contacted the manager and he stated that it was a scheduling error that was out of his control and he would need it back by noon the next day. I asked what would happen if I was not finished by that time and let me know there would be a financial penalty incurred based on each subsequent rental impacted that day. I have rented from uhaul in the past with no issues. I understand these things happen but the complete lack of customer service and a "that's your problem" attitude shown by the attendant and the site manager was overwhelmingly disappointing.
