Unorganized mess due to uhaul software. Purchased stuff on the app but couldn't leave because the program showed the wrong stuff vs what we got. The staff was great and did their jobs bit were hung up by the softwareDaniel M.

I rented a trailer to tow my car that caught a blowout when calling into U-Haul customer service they dispatched a servicer two hours away I was on hold for 40 minutes to get them on the phone initially. I was stuck in the middle of nowhere for over 4 hours; worst experience. Zero out of 10 wouldn't recommend.kiyah A.
Have more than one person working inside at once. I had to wait almost 45 minutes to get a truck that I reserved and there were people behind me that were waiting longer than that. Possibly have a different line for people who are renting a storage locker.JASON F.

Higher workers that take care of their customers as they come into the store complete the business at hand and then move to other customers in the parking lot and don't make the customer wait in the store while he talks on his phone and stands in the parking lot finish the task at hand I will never go to this store at 10 Mile and Dequindre ever againsteve A.

The whole process went very smoothly, checking out and checking in. I appreciated the printed info on the contract for my vehicle stating that it would take 4 gallons to return the gas tank level from 3/4 back to 7/8ths. Also, what a great selection of trucks at this huge facility on 10 and Dequindre! My only very minor complaint/suggestion is that when I arrived and walked into the customer service entrance, I couldn't see any service counter and thought I might be in the wrong entrance. Maybe move that tall box display so it does not block the view of the counter.Peter S.

The first truck they gave me was on its death bed. Bogging down which they knew about claiming it was just some sensor.....I outlined a 100+ mile round trip and they wanted me to take that unit..... I refused and got a second unit which ran fine but has 3 slow leaks in the tires and all of the pressures were way off. Wasting fuel money in this economy I'm going to buy a van today. When I went to return the truck there was only one person at the counter and nobody checking trucks in. One man had been waiting over an hour. I informed the man at the desk that I could not wait around for an hour so he told me I could leave my key with him. This was a Saturday, the day my truck was due to be returned. Fast forward to Monday and I had still not received any receipt from U-Haul indicating my truck return had been processed. I was at a different U-Haul getting propane today and I asked them to look up the records to see if the other location had ever checked it in. There was nothing and they stated that truck had been â€œredlinedâ€ and they were thinking we had retained or stolen the truck for an extra two days. I ended up driving over to this location and found the truck in the parking lot. I then entered the building and spoke with the ladies at the front desk. They informed me that they had just a minute ago processed my truck. I was then charged double because they thought we had kept the truck for an extra day when in fact we returned it within 24 hours. We did get a refund for the extra day but the service was so horrible I will never go back to that location.Nathan G.
This location was excellent. Both Sarah and Ember were fantastic. Super knowledgeable and helpful. We were having issues with our storage unit locking (arming) and both Sarah and Ember came out to see what the problem was and Ember did her MacGyver magic snd corrected it. Vehicle return was quick quick and when I mentioned the difference between this location and our pickup location in Atlanta Sarah recommended that I call your head office to discuss the state that we found our rental vehicle in. So when I have a moment to call after we are done with our moving in the next few days you can anticipate a phone call from me unless you reach out first.Sandra D.

Not specific to this location, but I originally reserved a trailer at the 13 mile and ryan location. I waited in line for 30 mins to be told that they don't have the trailer I reserved. Theye reserved a trailer for me at this location. I had to wait in line another 30 mins to get my reservation and get the trailer. All together, I lost about an hour and a half of time I could have been using the trailer for my intended purposes. Overall not very happy with the entire situation. The people at both locations were nice enough but the fact that I had to wait in line so long to be told something happened to my reserved trailer should not have happened. I should have been contacted ahead of time to be told this.Alexandra C.

The truck was a piece of crap. The front end made noise going down the road, steering wheel was at 11 and 4 going down the road, door panels had some kind of sticky stuff on them and the drivers door had to pick up on to close. Luckily I didn't have to drive on the freeway.David H.

Maybe not smoke in the vehicles or let customers do so. To a smoker u can't smell it but as a non smoker I could smell it immediately. Beyond that the trick was very good on gas mileage and didn't use a lot for driving it 119 miles; but I do the speed limitKATHY G.
The truck and facility were fine. The pick-up process was an absolute nightmare. There was never any notification that I had to pick-up the truck with in an hour of the appointment time. I was late coming home from work and couldn't access the truck via the app. I was on hold for an hour (literally) before I was connected and able to move forward. The lock that the key was in was also hard to open. We had to enter the combo in several times and jiggle (and hit) the lock before it was open. Also the identification numbers for the truck are not in the same spot as listed online. It was anything but seamless. I give it a 2/10. I got my truck, but it was 3 hours later than it was supposed to be.James J.

Clearer instructions about "drive-in" entrance and exit. Also, show customer the unit location they are renting. I'm almost 90 years old and have to walk a long distance to get to my unit. I might have asked for a closer unit had I known before hand it was so far away. Also, I like it because it's not far from where I live. Thanks for opening this location..jennie G.

Not this location, but at a different U-Haul location 3 days earlier, we had attempted this rental and we were NOT notified by text OR by phone that the trailer was NOT available until we arrived in person (the previous renter had notified that location that they would be way overdue in returning it). By the time we are able to locate a trailer at a different location it was too late and aborted our plans for the day. A much better way to handle it would have been to notify the customer (me) in advance by phone or text and also to locate another U-Haul site that had the trailer for us in advance.Daniel W.
