When we dropped our truck off after hours, the return lanes were packed. We could not pull our truck in safely off of Florida avenue and had to park it along the customer parking spots. There was no one to assist, no number posted on the building for help, and we could not reach U-Haul's customer service line after over an hour of waiting. I've had good experiences with this U-Haul location in the past, but this one ensured we will never use this location again.Daniel W.

I reserved a dolly (hand truck) for the day, but when I checked in to pick up my rental they said they did not have ANY dolly available. They said that I could drive down the road to pick one up if I wanted. They should have obtained them ahead of time from another location, considering they knew they had reservations requiring them.Jason H.

I reserved a van and confirmed with customer service I arrive and I there is no van. The wanted to send me to ankther location 7 kikes further away.... meanwhile you paybfor mileage. I had to argue to get a truck available, which i shouldnt have because that bigger truck burned more gas and the breaks were horrible. I had no choice because my daughter had to move by noon. I felt forced into the situation and I will not use uhaul again. The rep was nice the whole situation would have been avoided had they had the van I requested.CHENESSA W.

The truck needed an oil change BAD!! As in, 0% oil bad. Also, the tire pressures were all different and incorrect so it made the drive very rough. The back bed was never cleaned and the seats didn't move. I can't imagine someone small trying to drive it; they wouldn't be able to adjust the seat in order to drive.Leza M.

When ppl come into your establishment to make their reservations/ whatever, just don't have/let them wait for "long periods of time", etc. Just be accurate, fast, and quick, etc. That will keep them & more people coming to your establishment & you will get good recommendations, etc.Sylvia T.

Staff on Sunday, July 24, 2022 was amazing. Excellent customer service, very friendly, and informative. I booked that morning and it was ready right away. Checkout time was incredible. I was well pleased with all the Staff that day. Missed their names because I was in a ruff.Lester J.

This location needs to re-think on how to return the equipment. I was told a person would be out to receive the equipment. There was no-one. The customer service is non existence. We couldn't navigate the app to create an account. There were 5 customers ahead of me. All we're having problems with the app. There were 3 staff peopke to help & they were in no hurry to accommodate any of the customers. Finally a guy started to help us, then turned to another customer & started talking to him, leaving me to just stand & wait on him. Finally, we got the keys to the Van. When we started it a message came up that the oil needed changing & there was low pressure in one of the tires. We Went back in to report it. A ln employee came out & checked the oil. He said it needed changing which they would do later. Asked about the low tire pressure, He said â€œall of the rentals will show that message as there is a problem with the sensors. This was the A very bad EXPERIENCE. The manager was standing there & she was no better. The entire staff needs a remedial class in customer service, or termination. 1. Have Initial location (in Hot Springs, Arkansas) get truck to site which it could have done. 2. Have initial site not make excuses or blame another customer for not having my unit on site as contracted. 3. Have corporate adjuster listen to my issues and discount the cost to me for the extra time, money and inconvenience due solely to uhaul not meeting the terms of its contract. 4. Most importantly, have the corporate adjuster at least act like uhaul was sumpathic (if not actually sorry) for its screw-up instead of telling me "what I had to do and what I would get". Dayna was ABSOLUTELY the BEST! Upon check in we arrived very close to closing time, by the time we checked in Uhaul was closed and had issues with my pass code. I had to go through Uhaul.com which was a nightmare. Dayna then calls me from her personal phone, after hours to assist in my password not working. Very professional operation. Was greeted upon arrival and directed to drop off spot in yard to unhook trailer. U-Haul rep actually uhnooked the trailer for me, told me I was all set and asked if I would like a paper receipt in addition to the online one, which he picked up in the office and handed to me. I returned a rental truck at store 786051. I paid a cash deposit of $100. My rental was $29.05. The store doesn't have change to give me and they are telling me to come back. I have the exact change of $29.05. The rep refuses to accept the exact change stating its gonna mess up her system. She's telling me to come back later in the day. Gas is too expensive! Terrible location. Terrible service. Truthfully no service at all. I came in around 9 am to place my things in storage that I had a reservation for and they said they rented out my space. What? So I had to go and find a storage unit somewhere else. Meanwhile we called the 1800 number and they said that space was still available. So I don't know what they're trying pull. So I inconveniently placed my things in another storage place and came back on time to return the truck at 12:55 and waited in line until 1:19 and was charged an extra day when it was due at 1:04. When I spoke with them about this added charge the customer service agent said she will talk to the manager and wrote a note on a piece of paper. I explained that that would not fix the problem at all. So today, days later I still have a charge for an extra day. If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible customer service. Attendant at the counter didn't originally explain how to get into the building. Tried to move some stuff in after office hours and could not get it. I had to go back the next day for more information of how to get into the storage facility. After that I was very satisfied. Every time I need to speak to somebody about my storage unit they could never pull up the m25 unit no matter what we did but every month I had to make that payment and got the late fees if I didn't have it in by the 17th. Even the very next day after moving out and I went to go turn in the truck that I rented they still cannot find my information that I moved out of the unit m25. Then on the day we did rent the truck which was the 16th the young man was in the office by himself trying to handle at least 12 customers at 4:53 pm.But I feel like because everything was a rush situation he didn't understand I was looking for a one-way versus having to drop it back off in Tampa. Then after realizing he gave me the one way he said he had absolutely no one way rentals at this location even in bigger trucks but I just feel like he was just trying to rush really quickly so that he can handle the other customers in the building.yolanda jeriesh r. | Overall Experience

I only have a few problems: 1. The unit is listed as 9' high, but I don't have use of 9' due to pipes and a red line on the wall as a warning, that should be provided before renting the unit. 2. There are not enough carts in case multiple people are there loading/unloading. I went there to unload and a group had both carts, leaving nothing for anyone else. 3. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that the biggest unit 10x10 was only 6ft high. I just moved to Florida and don't know the area, I had all of my belongings with me. If I wasn't on such a time crunch or hadn't gotten rid of most of my big stuff I would have had to go to a different storage place. Because it wouldn't have fit. I was very disappointed in that. I sold me had to be cut off by a locksmith before I could move in it cost me extra $200 with the mover because of the delay and $100 for the locksmith. No one would come over to the unit and help me. One month after I moved in I got a email saying I had the inappropriate lock I was locked out of my storage unit. And I just recently got another email telling them it's urgent I need to contact them they didn't like the way I locked my unit. I reserve a unit at one location, when I arrive, they said its not available, they send me to another location that had a 10x10 unit. Which was further away, meanwhile I rented a uhaul truck prior which increased my mileage and expenses. I was on Budget and it through me off.. I shouldn't have to pay for extra mileage/gas/fees when I scheduled accordingly to my home. I should get refunded. 862 201 9322 if u can call me if this is possible.. The young lady who assisted me was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had Never rented a storage unit before. I had Many questions which she knew all the answers. The unit itself was clean. I did see a rat container thingy to capture rodents as soon as I stepped in the unit. It definitely wasn't something I expected. But I guess I should be glad they have it. I made my reservation almost a month ago and when I arrived at the location, I was first informed the computers were down and I had to wait roughly one hour for them to come back up. When they finally came back up I was informed by the shift manager, there were no storage units available. I attempted to contact the store manager, but had no response. I next tried to contacted the GM from my cell a couple times to hopefully have the issue resolved, but no luck. I next attempted to call the GM from the store phone and she answered. I explained to her my situation, and she informed me she would make a call to the manager on shift, but never did. The GM was no help at all and never contacted me back to give me an update. Luckily one of the gentleman at the store noticed how frustrated I was because I was waiting for an hour for the computers to come back up and to then be informed there was no storage available. I also had a trailer to return and limited time and he luckily found me another storage unit. This was by far the worst UHAUL experience yet. There were a couple of issues with my reservation. I booked the 1st week of July. However, when I arrived for my check-in I was told the storage unit I booked wasn't available. The unit I was given in replacement was smaller then I booked. At the end of the day I was still able to fit my things miraculously. The store was able to rectify the situation at the end of the day as well. EVERY TIME I GO AND RESERVE A UHAUL TRUCK, AND OR NEED A STORAGE UNIT THE EMPLOYEES ARE NICE, FUNNY AND VERY MUCH PROFESSIONAL, AND THE PROPERTY IS VERY CLEAN IN MY BOOK BUT SOMETIMES THERE IS A LONG LINE BUT I PREFER THIS LOCATION IT'S VERY CONVENIENT FOR ME AND MY NEEDS THANK YOU UHAUL .
