I had a Ubox rental with this location. The same day I packed my unit, I noticed the unit was damaged. (The front panel was missing screws leaving my items exposed.) I immediately brought it to their attention and was told that my unit would be repaired. Three (3) days later I called to try and have my Ubox shipped to me and there was no record of them housing my things. My unit was shown to have been not only empty but ready for the next customer's use. Only to find out the location had my name filed with the wrong reservation number. After no avail with customer service (because the location never answered the phone nor returned my calls) I had to physically return to the location to resolve the issues. After ONLY 10 DAYS of using their less than adequate services, I was forced to remove all of my items from this facility. The Ubox was NOT repaired and without explanation or resolve from the facilities discrepancies I had to take my business elsewhere. After all the hassle I was still charged full price for a service I couldn't even use due to mishaps on this locations behalf and no fault of my own. I will NOT recommend this location to anyone nor use their services again!
Excellent service, Quick and super efficient! Would highly recommend it
The location is good. UHaul in the area of Newark has shortages which significantly restricts access to trucks, especially for long drives. They canceled me twice and I was unable to store my belongings where I wanted to. On the day of moving to a local storage unit, the had to change my location again because someone got in an accident with my truck. Big headache, but overall, best prices and good quality trucks once you get to them.
How i use 14 miles when the cargo van was park and i did one stop ??

Don't change the drop off location in the middle of the day, especially in bad neighborhoods such as Newark.
Manager promised to refund extra cleaning/fuel charges but has not done so after several days of returning the vans, disappointing....
Although I returned the van with more than gas than it was picked up with, I was still charged a gas surcharge! I was also charged a cleaning fee although the van was returned in the same condition as it was picked up.
The lady attaching the tow dolly stayed she did not know how to load the car when I made she prior to reserving someone can help me since I did not nor plus safety issues. It is very unprofessional to say the least and she did not have her mask on.

This store is very good
The windshield was all dirty and the truck smell like cigarette. Engine sounds like is about to brake. First time having a bad experience at u-haul. Customer service at front desk 8 out of 10.

Van was returned with more gas than it was picked up with, yet I was charged a gas charge! I was also charge a cleaning fee?! I was never told about that, so that was disappointing....

The van was dirty. The seats had stuff all over it and the cargo bay had a lot of styrofoam.

I honestly don't feel like it's safe or fair to charge my family $173 for using a uhual that I explained continuously cut off on me on the high or when I come to a red light!! When ever I gassed the truck the truck will shut off !! I would definitely like to speak to corporate about this. When I arrived to the uhual company my van wasn't even ready, then the van I waited for to be cleaned off was no good because someone left the back up and it was a bunch of snow. I then had to wait for another truck which was not driving good. The truck was dragging for me to drive it !! This is unacceptable. I didn't even feel safe going to the gas station in the truck it kept shutting off and I'm being charged extra for that !!
The trucks or Van's are always cleaned in the cab and back but the inside of the windows are never cleaned when it's a foggy or rainy day you cant see clearly through the windows. Also in the same environment it also appears the wipers are never changed and you cant see clearly through the windows. Otherwise I've been renting there for years customer service has always been excellent. Workers are trained well because through all the turnover everyone is so helpful. My van battery was dead they changed my reservation quick and I was out the door. I really don't like renting anywhere else I've been to other centers and I love it there.
The best choice I made... Happy with my service here.

Staff was very professional & kind. Facility & bathroom clean & organized. I didn't use their dolly & overestimated the miles, so they reimbursed that without me asking. No complaints.

Staff was very friendly, and extremely helpful. Facility was very clean, fully stocked with all your moving needs, and well lit at night when I dropped off the equipment. Best Uhaul I have dealt with over the past several years.

Everything went perfect.
My clerk Brianna was incredible. Very helpful, efficient and courteous. I didn't see her when I walked up but she was calling to me in the lot. I didn't realize she was greeting me. That is pretty awesome and unlike any service experience I have every had since I lived down south, where the CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. went above and beyond to provide care to customer, me. Thank you Brianna, you were excellent and your energy is very welcoming. Great JOB!!! It's COVID TIME, I appreciate all workers who come to work to support the community at large. You are all hero's!

I would have said Execllent but I can't. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the female who attended me because I could care less to ask her rude self what her name was. She looked so miserable to be there.
please change wipers on 2 recent rentals the wipers were worn and very hard to see during the rain

Customer Service personnel need to be more pleasant and accommodating! They need to understand.. we're the customer!!! Also.. they need to be trained in the equipment that they use on a daily basis!!!!

1st off 1 person working the counter early Saturday morning? I had a reservation & di online check in & still had a wait. 1 Person is not enough to service that place on a Saturday. The unit; in the age of COVID & all the "preventive things" U-Haul says they do, the truck in the cab was not clean & did not seem or smell anything like a sanitized unit in anyway. IIt was not a comfortable feeling. The front windshield was dirty & when I was faced with sun & headlights later in the the day THEY WERE A DISGRACE!! Could not see through the dirt & filth on the windshield. I have pictures to prove it. I still can not believe the filth of the cabin the COVID Age. The billing I got charged for gas when I filled to the point it was at when I picked it up. I have picture of gas needle at pickup & picture at drop off (same position, why was it not full? easier to figure out, No?) One more thing only open until 7:00PM? It is a Daily rental no? I was billed for another day which I think is unfair. A daily rental is 24 Hours. Closing at 7PM is an unfair time to close for returns. Great team and great GM- Storage facility and the Center are very clean and well maintained.
Truck bed had leftover debris. Interior cab had leftover dirty clothing and eyewear. Floors were dirty. The seats were smudged with dirty stains. The center console was dirty with food crumbs Inner windshields were smudged and not clear. Not major stuff but You asked. I had to clean it myself. I hate a dirty interior. I always carry my own cleaning supplies. I left the clothing in case last renter came looking for the items. Great, GREAT customer service though. To me THAT is so much more important. You don't find good CS very often anymore. The young ladies there are friendly, professional and efficient.
The lady at the counter needs training on how to treat clients with respect. Although every body has a bad day... I felt this was not the case. All the other personal was very good, polite, attentive, respectful and specially willing to help.

Creo que con una adeciada orientación pueda mejorar o de pronto dejar el oficio enncaso no le guste interactuar.

My experience with this particular UHAUL site on Broadway Avenue in Newark. NJ continues to be the best all of the time. The staff members and even the manager were pleasant and knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

The man who assisted me was k knowledgable and very courteous. He walked me to my unit and provided me with my access card. It was pouring down rain at the moment and he waited for me as I drove to the entrance. He was patient with me because I had questions. I'd highly recommend this particular uhaul site.

The facilities were great, new, and really clean. The only reason I rented here was because I needed 24 hour access. Well it’s currently 230am and I need to get into my unit and the woman at the front desk didn’t add the 24hour access into my account so now I’m our here in the cold and can’t get in! I called customer service and it can only be added in site. Well I need to be on a flight by 9am tomorrow and the office doesn’t open until 9am. You really screwed me!!!

My whole experience started as me getting charged to load my vehicle in the auto transport defective and truck with bad transmission to drive 2000 miles across the country.

I reserve a 10’x15’ storage unit and the clerk give me a 10’x10’. I asked her several of times is it a 10x15 and she said yes. I checked my email and saw that she give me a 10’x 10’.
