KEVIN H. | First ImpressionsThe staff person at the desk was very helpful, but we had issues with managers we never saw. One only put out one of our containers when we requested all four one day. Also, we kept getting charged for late fees even though we had contacted UHaul and resolved the issue (re-issued card). So we gave up and rented a storage space elsewhere and emptied the UBoxes into it.
Carol S.I was told the reservation was confirmed and the store opened at 9. I had to have the truck returned by 5. I was not told my reservation would be cancelled if I was more that 15 minutes late. When I arrived shortly after 10 Brittney the Assit. Mgr told me my res was cancelled and the truck was now rented although it was still in the lot. I was then told to go to the Church St store for another truck. No one called me to confirm if I was coming. She should have let me have the truck and sent the next person to Church St. when they arrived. She refused, I questioned her, she argued and told be if I continued I was not getting a truck at all. I asked who the Mgr. was and she said it was Monica was not unavailable. I asked Britney to have her call me during the week and no calls. I have been a very loyal customer for decades having rented all types of equipment from Key West to Yarmouth Nova Scotia. I have never been treated so poorly. David S.This was the third place i had to go in order to return it. I was told the first place could not accept me because they were only a U-Haul storage facility. This was in Westport. I called 1 800 go uhaul and they gave me an address of where I could return the truck( Hathaway st, New Bedford). The people at the Hathaway said they could not accept on-way rentals, they directed me to Church st.

Rhonda M.Box was delivered and picked up in Cotuit, MA. Sat in Bedford for over two weeks when was delivered to Virginia instead of Fort Myers. Complete disaster with shipping and delivery. Nothing to do with the hurricane. The delivery girls were great. That's all I can say that was good. Very important business information that I needed and it was three weeks in the waiting. Took over a month to go from Massachusetts to Florida. Very poor service. Very disappointing. Also cost me a lot of money on my business.

I remarked this fact to them and they said I was rude. No other customers were there. Very poor customer relations. The two employees were very young and have poor talking points. I was told by headquarters that as long as I didn't go over 100 miles I was to get 49 cents a mile. The attendant said the van came with 99 cents a mile for 100 miles. I would appreciate a customer relations to contact me. I am needing another larger truck in a week.

I had to move rather quickly with no notice and I was desperate for a place to store my entire apartment and while they said they had originally a 10x15 available they only had a 10x10 which is fine. I just got an extra 5x10. AND no signs of insects or rodents. Which is my BIGGEST CONCERN.

Currently you have to step down about 5" which is not convenient or safe for moving items in/out of building and may cause injury to people especially when moving large household items. Also something to hold the door open to make moving items from truck into building more efficient.

We went to the new site, only to find that we still could not get in…because we had STILL not received proper instructions! We ended up not using the unit and would not recommend your facility to anyone else. We wasted about an hour and a half out of our day.

NORAIMA V. | Overall ExperienceWhen I made the reservation it did not say I had to go to a different location to get the keys. When I went to get the keys I was told the units were still being built and were not available. After talking to the manager she sent someone to "do the walls" so that I could move in. When I got there the unit wasn't even numbered. I waited nearly an hour at the unit for the person who was supposed to be doing something with the walls to come and tape a paper sign with hand written number in it. I was so disappointed with the experience. Also, in regards to cleanliness, there was a pair of men's underwear and what appeared to be a sex toy as soon as you walk in on the ground. Also, to talk to anyone on the phone is a 30 minute hold time.

The email did not state that or which door to enter. My friend and I drove all around the building, in the rain, with our two SUV's circling around trying to find out how to unload. We had to drive to another UHaul location and the employee there didn't know what was going on either. She offered me the small box pods sitting outside, which isn't what I had paid for online nor would it fit any of my belongings. She finally called someone and got actual directions. I tried calling UHaul several times and there was an hour wait every single time just to get to a representative for UHaul and I couldn't get through. I finally have access to the unit but the hours are not convenient at all and neither was the process finding it.
