I take all my friends to U-Haul when they need to move. So easy and so much cheaper than other companies.
I have worked with several U-Haul locations and the experience gets better and better each time. The all-inclusive moving experience takes the worry out of relocating.
The gentleman that checked me in was excellent! My complaint is with the condition of the facility itself. There were absoluteLy no lights working in the hallway & was told it couldn’t be fixed until Monday (after moving day). Could not see anything inside of my unit. Snow was not cleared around the door so we could not get carts to work. As soon as you walk in there is nothing but others peoples JUNK facing you. I paid slightly less for a PRISTINE unit in MI that i could even drive my vehicle into for loading/unloading. I will be looking for a different storage unit elsewhere. I always have a good experience with truck rental & my friends unit was decent, but this was way below my expectations (especially of Uhaul) for the price.
My experience with my storage unit was down right horrible. The staff at this location is one of the worst staffs I’ve seen in any business that is still open. They are not accommodating, make you jump through hoops to get things done and sometimes down-right nasty. I would not recommend this facility or ANY of their services to anyone. I will try and avoid uHaul altogether from here on out due to my latest experience. Someone needs to take a close look at this location and how it is ran and the people that are running it.
Codey Reed was very helpful. This is the first time we rented a unit and he was patient with us.
The storage units are smaller than they say they are.
My husband was very upset that he was not verbally told he had to have a special lock. He went to Home Depot and had masterlocks all keyed the same only to find out by a notice hanging on the unit doors that those locks were not allowed. Other than that everything was tip top.
Staff were great, really helpful and careful with hookup. Trailer door had a tendency to stick. Needs some attention.

The gentleman that we rented the unit from gave us instructions like we had been there before. It took us awhile to figure things out.
The customer service representative was very quick and efficient ch cling in my truck. The location was also easy to get to and had clear directional signage towards drop off.
TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM WAS MALFUNCTIONING AND CAUSED CONCERN. SHOULD BE CORRECTED OR ADVISED THERE IS NO ACTUAL TIRE PRESSURE ISSUES.
Great staff and location! I have rented from here several times and have been given excellent service each and every time from all employees I have worked with! Will definitely recommend this location to any friends or family who will be moving in the future.

The driver door doesnt close all the way unless you slam it. Other than that- wonderful service and a wonderful experience.
I was charged an extra day for keeping a pickup after informing uhaul the need to keep the truck some hours longer. The charge should have been pro-rated, at worst. I was told a family needed to rent the only truck which was the location's only pickup. Fair enough. But being charged a full day because uhaul has only one truck is problematic. Poor policy.
Make sure the equipment is connected properly
You are too expensive. Budget Truck Rental was 1/2 the cost of a Uhaul. If we weren't in a pinch, we wouldn't have used Uhaul at all.
The refueling item is not ideal. I gave back a lot of fuel as there was very little when I picked up the vehicle. There should be a credit or something.
Your "Contactless" system needs worked on greatly. I like the idea, but the system needs to be made easier. I had to go inside and have the gentleman finish my check in.
Awesome people I never had a bad experience with any of the staff. Even during closing time they made sure I was cared for. Thank you for employing young respectable men and women.
Having an ice scraper in the truck would be very helpful when there is snow and ice built on the tuck from sitting in the lot.
I am very pleased with this U-haul location. This will be my first choice if the need arises in the future. Thank you!
Nothing memorable...the representative could learn some personal skills from Larry at the cap stop location in North Canton. Larry would have went out to the truck with me and gone over everything and ensure my satisfaction. Larry at the Cap Stop is worth remembering.
Esp during this COVID pandemic I'd expect your trucks to have extra cleaning attention. It was dirty inside and very dirty outside. The driver seat had rips and was slanted so uncomfortable. I've rented many trucks from you and have another reservation in a couple days for a one way out of State. I'm concerned it will be in good condition. I'm driving solo and surely pray no issues for this woman. Thank you
We were very satisfied with everything.
Was told I had access until 10:00 pm. Got there at 7:30 pm and could not get access per instructions given to me. Had to call number on door for manager. First she did not answer cell phone. Had to call second time before she answered. She said I had to use both access places because it was after 7:00 pm. I did and door opened but not sliding door. Had to call her a third time to find out how to open sliding door. Was told it would not open because it was after 7:00 pm. When I went to open unit I rented it was full of trash and had not been swept. We had to find a broom and sweep it and clean out trash. I call her a fourth time to report this. She called me today and apologized for all the trouble and dirty unit. She said she noted on my account I would get 20% off for the rest of my rental. I asked her why the representative did not inform me of additional things to access after 7:00pm. She said she would talk to them but could not answer this because she was not there when I rented. If I had not been able to contact her last night I would have been denied access. I had a semi truck making delivery at 8:00 pm. He would have been required to stay over until today and I would not have been able to have my help with unloading.
We had a great experience so I really can't be of help.
Just make sure and additional items, like dollys are available. Other than that everything was great. This is a very helpful and customer-friendly location.
The drop off went smoothly the attendant was pleasant and helpful
Well first of all, they charged me for more miles than I drove (15 miles over). They said they would investigate the matter, and then without even telling me there conclusion they charged me the full amout with out my concent.... Be weary of this location.
Rude and added extra surcharges
Overcharged is by at least double have yet to resolve. Filed a distorted today with uhaul planning to speak to my bank and attorney Monday as a second charge has come through a month later with no explanation.
This was our second experience with U-Haul. We had no problems. The folks at pickup were great.

There was a tire that was extremely out of balance and the steering had a lot of play in it. However, the staff was very pleasant.
Yes I was in the middle of buying a piece of new equipment and needed to haul home got wrong trailer and I went back with in the matter of minutes and the manager Rosie was able to get me set up with a new and bigger trailer so thanks for the great service.
I was treated like family. We also rent a spot for our camper. Climate control is the way to go!
Had a terrible experience at this location on Sunday morning 10/8/2020. Sales person dropped the ball on my order and I had to wait in the parking lot for an hour and a half till they opened at 9:00am. I had to call customer service to find out what happened to my order , which was changed by Employee the night before because he realized he messed up my order !!! I will be contacting Store Mgr tomorrow 😡
Had a difficult time contacting the location in North Ft. Myers, when box arrived, to make delivery appointment. Kept getting routed to associates in other states, who tried to contact store, but were also not able to get through to the store. Was very frustrating.
The mobile pickup was a rough experience. It was glitchy, took a long time, and when I entered a third contact there was no indication to me that they'd be trying to actually call that person right away. Had I known, I could have let them know they need to answer... Wound up going inside and employee had to clear all that out and check me out manually - but they were very helpful!
Both locations, equipment was clean, excellent condition and very friendly employees. COVID mindset!

Nothing really. The online reservation and account set up was very smooth and easy. Our interactions with the pick up staff to the drop off staff, everyone was so pleasant, very friendly , and helpful. We reserved a van. It was extremely clean and nice to drive. The Whipple location is awesome!
I had worked with about 6 different people from this location and they were all phenomenal!! Would highly recommend this location!
Friendly service and clean equipment
The pickup location was right on an access road to another business' parking lot. As I was backing up to hook up the trailer, a car drove right behind me, between me and the trailer. I could have easily hit that car.
The only issue I had was staff shortage, and lack of customer service (answering calls, long wait/hold times).
I was moving from Akron to Uniontown - I could have used another location, but I've always used this one. The employees are helpful and very nice. The cargo van I used was GREAT!

The customer service rep got the time wrong, I indicated noon and I didn't notice she had input 12:00 am, I went to this location and had to take a bigger truck, the young lady at the desk apologized and gave me the bigger truck for the price I anticipated. Great service.
