Outstanding customer service from James! Our storage place didn't set a reservation for our move-out. Then, the one they did place was wrong. James waded through it and set us up perfectly. Also, the gal with the wheelchair and broken leg was completely pleasant. On check in, she resolved a credit issue fast and with humor. Excellent experience with UHaul in Auburn!

The equipment had not been repaired - rear upper clearance lights were not working. Should be fixed before customers rent equipment. Also - maybe add a few wheel chocks in a bin or a designated trailer parking area with raised areas for the trailer tires. Because of the slight slope of the parking area, when I detached the trailer from my rig - the trailer would not stay where I intended to drop It - and kept trying to roll away. Thankfully, an employee arriving for work noticed what was happening and brought out some blocks of wood to block the trailer tires. A small bin nearby the propane tank that held a few lightweight plastic wheel chocks would be a great addition. Lightweight enough that some low life couldn’t use them the break out windows. Thanks.

The staff was rude and took for ever. I waited for 10 minuits for someone to show up in the office. So if you in a hurry I would leave at least 30 minuits early.other than the rude woman and the taking for ever to get help its a place to get a trailer when you need one.

I was a bit frustrated b/c when on the phone making reservations, I asked specifically if a large cargo van would fit a queen bed set. I was assured it would- when I arrived and saw the doors of the vans when driving in, I had my doubts so I asked the clerk in the office handling my transaction- he was not sure so asked one of the others on duty. She said, no it would not, but no worries, the van and small box truck run at the same rate with a slightly higher mil. fee. I was frustrated but now had all plans together for picking up said bed so proceeded with now a box truck. When asked about how far would I be traveling to offer an estimate, I stated about 60 miles each way- so let’s say 120. He gave me an estimated cost with gas/mileage of something over 100 but less than 150 so we completed the transaction. When I returned I was then told my total would actually be 240(something)!! The gal checking me back in was the same woman from earlier. I explained that that was WAY off of original estimate. She did lower the fuel cost to adjust the final price but I was still almost at $200! To move 1 queen bed! I was very frustrated. A couple of additional notes, it was stated that the gas level was at 5/8 of a tank and needed to be back to the same level at return. When I got into the truck it was at 1/2 a tank. I let it go- I was on a time restraint and just let it all roll of. When I returned the truck I was well over 3/4 of a tank. I just feel like I was trapped all the way around and mislead. Mis-lead that the van would work got an estimate and made the reservation. Get to the p/up location- sorry you’ll have to upgrade your need and then to find that the clerk only entered half the mileage for the final estimate. In the end I spent 180(ish) on truck, 55 on fuel. Had I known, I would have made alternate arrangements but to save hassle for such a “low rate” I went with U-Haul. Bottom line, I wish everyone was providing knowledgeable and honest information so that I could have made an actual informed decision. Thank you.

My original reservation was for the South Auburn location. When I arrived they did not have a truck available. Very frustrating! They did find one at North Auburn. This added more than $10 to my cost for the additional mileage.

I was extremely happy with the service provided by the two different emploees that I interacted with. The young woman with I rented the trailer from was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The whole process was smooth and quick! Considering she was limited physically from an injured foot/lower leg issue, she was quick and efficient in getting me in and out of the door with confidence. The yard man was organized and quick with the hookup and review of sfaety infromation and getting me on the road. When I return the following day the same individual greeted me in the drop off lane, had the trailer unhooked extremely quickly and had my receipt emailed to me within minutes of arrival. He was already pulling the trailer into the back storage area before I had even gotten out of the driveway. I wish I could have gotten both of their names as I was more than pleased with their service, friendliness and overall positive atitude! It should be fairly easy to find their names on the schedule as the staffing was not a lot of people, but with them the did a great job!

Upon arrival to pick up the truck I was informed that the gas had been stolen from the truck during the night. So instead of filling the truck they gave me a $28.00 gas credit. I put a &100.00 in the truck only to get it to half. After that I was fine though in my option as as automotive engineer the truck needed a brake job based on the amount of miles on this unit. No previous inspection sheet was provided by the staff nor and any discussion on the documentation on the vehicles previous damages. Upon return I ended up needing a storage unit, which the staff assigned me in this endeavor. However based on the mornings events of the empty truck I was not offered any discounts for the event nor military service. Also I was continued to be charged for the truck while I was off loading it and storing my belongings. Again this was not explained at any that me throughout my engagement with the staff. All in all I had a positive experience and would recommend them and uhaul again.

Our service rep was nice and switched my reservation from the waiting queue in customer service made through the 1800 number. Call center experience not great. IVR menu not helpful and did not route my call to the right place, so the first rep transferred me. I thought she was Just putting me on hold. Second rep took my info and told me someone would cail and 45 minutes later no call back. Not sure why I had to be transferred and why anyone had to call me back and why no one had called me after 45 min.

I was charged 10 extra miles . I called customer service in the middle of them figuring out what the heck is going on with the truck they hung up on me , so i called back then they hung up again. I also reserved a storage unit they gave me the wrong size as I'm trying to move my belongings into the unit I went to the office to notify them. they change my unit which changed my code as I was moving my belongings in. As a result I couldn't get in the building, couldn't access the elevator to the second floor which is where my unit was located. The office attendant took so long that office closed and the building closed because it was after hours. So , as I was unloading..... i was locked out of the building. I still don't have my card she promised.

Don't provide so many furniture pads! I only needed a couple per box, and ended up having to lug them into the box when I loaded up and after I unloaded, when I was already tired. It would be a better CX to offer just a few but remind people they can get more. Also, both Everett and Auburn teams were amazing and helpful, but the few times I called and had to interact with a more-national call center, only one experience was great, but in the others, team members frequently had little idea what was going on, and had problems finding my order. I would put some energy into making sure that everyone in the organization has access to the same level of customer information, so that CX is consistently good, rather than only good when one reaches the local office. I would also prefer having more DIY options for managing the move, as I literally spent 30+ minutes on several calls with national call center teams, where, if your online options were more robust, customers could manage more things themselves and free up the call center's time for things that needed more of a personal touch.

I signed for my rental and the person at the counter pointed at a truck, I went to the parking lot but had to return because I wasn't sure which truck, I was told a lane number and the key went in but wouldn't turn on, I looked at about 6 other trucks in the area but none had the right number. I went back to the counter and was told it has the number on it. Apparently someone moved the truck to a different area at the end of a lane across the other side of the yard. I asked to be shown the truck and I could tell the counter person wasn't happy. I got the truck to move my stuff out of storage and when I went to put stuff in the back of the truck I found it hadn't been cleaned. It had sheetrock or some other white powder in the back. I pointed it out before I left the lot. I was told that I would get a credit due to the condition. When I returned it I mentioned it and was told "I am just a counter person". Anyway, great facility but lousy customer service.

When an employee ignores you it's very irritating. You can at least acknowledge that the next person is there to be serviced. Explain to the customer that the printer is down and is being serviced at that moment. My husband had quick and better service from outside. I just needed a receipt to make sure my acct. was zero owed.

It took over 2 weeks to get access to my U-box with no return call from the manager when messages were left and customer service sent messages to the manager and his higher ups 5 days into me trying to access my U-box. The manager, when confronted, pretended he didn't know anything about the issues regarding the U-box. I would never recommend U-Haul to anyone again and prefer Budget or Penske vans over U-Hail any day. I have been a customer for over 3 years with U-Haul and will never use their services again. Y'all might as well not even exist. Welcome to the oblivion that is Walmart and McDonalds. Might not seem like an insult to you, but anyone who has any scruples at all would see the insult.

I filled the gas tank up when I was done, approx. $40 of gas, but then realized I only used maybe 10 dollars of gas. The employee/manager was not willing in any way to reimburse me for the extra $20, $30 dollars I gave them in gas even though he acknowledged I only put on 16 miles but then added about 10 gallons of gas. Bad, Really bad customer service, great way to loose customers. Will absolutely never use them again. P.S. the cab and back was full of pot smoke, made me sick.

I was overcharged and customer service lady was rude and after talking and waiting on the phone with her to resolve the problem I was disconnected. I will be calling back but I didn’t know what number to call because I was forwarded to customer service by the reservation department. FYI- She (customer service) had my phone number and information to return my call but never did. Pretty disappointed with the whole experience as I rent from uhaul regularly. So I’m going to wait for the outcome before I do any more business with you folks. Hopefully this will be resolved timely and credited for the overcharges.

Poor communication and lack of knowledge. 24-7 pick up was a complete disaster. The pick up location indicated on the app and through customer service verification was unclear. I showed up at the location during the pickup time (6:50am) indicated and was instructed to pick up truck under a "green tent," however the truck that was at this particular location was not prepared and no keys were present. I specifically asked the customer service rep if the truck could be located somewhere else on the property...his only response was to come back when the store opened, three hours later. I lost three hours of moving time! Additionally since I checked in via the app at 6:50am and didn't pick up the truck until three hours later, I was was still charged for up time of 6:50am pick up. When brought to the attention of the store supervisor, he didn't seem to care too much about any of these issues and stated that the truck was ready for pick up at the location and that I was in the wrong because I was in the incorrect location and "they did everything correctly to prepare the truck for pickup, there was nothing he could do". Due to the delayed pick up, I had to prolong my rental which cost me more time, money and stress. I requested a courtesy discount for the issues I experienced, and there was absolutely no empathy at all. Upon return of the truck, I confirmed with a store rep, if there was another 'green tent' located on the property for truck pick up, and he stated, there was not, and that customer service routinely directed customers to the incorrect locations because each property is different. WOW! Simply the worst customer service and rental experience ever! I would not recommend UHaul to anyone, especially this location.

Two of my 4 combination locks got broken in the process of the move. The person who delivered my containers on the other end said that they always recommend Master locks with keys to their UBox customers. I wish that had been recommended to me at the beginning of our process. The woman who dropped off and picked up our boxes in Sequim was fabulous!!!

We have rented from this location a few times and find it convenient and the people very nice to work with. For this rental it was 10:00 at night and we decided to use the website to make the reservation. The website is definitely NOT as easy to use as it could be. We did get a reservation but navigation was not clear. We will be calling whenever possible.

I decided to reserve and pick up the truck I needed during business hours at the counter. I saw that you have a mobile app to pick up before or after hours but also saw that the online reviews were less than impressive so decided to just wait until your store opened. Glad I did as the gentleman in front of me for pickup mentioned to the counter person that he utilized the app and tried to pick up his truck at 7am (2 hours before store opened) but it did not work. He waited for 2 hours until the store opened and was told "sometimes the closing crew gets busy the night before and forgets to make arrangements for early pickups". I appreciate his honesty but was surprised he didn't offer the customer anything for the inconvenience. Fortunately my experience was great, but will stick with business hours.

My package never should have been delivered to this location. I left a 3 star review because I never interacted with them at all and don't want their location to suffer based on someone elses screw up. Our package originally was sent from Ohio, and was supposed to arrive in Hayward California. I have no idea how it ended up in Auburn, WA, but the result was that we had to wait an extra full week sitting on the floor and eating microwave meals because no one was willing to expedite our package to Hayward to make up for it. I'm frustrated and upset, and I won't be using this service again, nor recommending it to any of my friends.

I have mixed reviews for my uhaul experience. The uhaul in North Auburn is fantastic. Everything you might want and expect. But, uhaul’s roadside assistance is nonexistent. No response at all.

Facility is clean however alarms can go off for some reason and could give people heart attack. There's a big metal "hump" that connects the building on floor enough for your stuff to fall. Bad design

Overall good but payments should be prorated. It’s unfair to charge for a month if the customer only uses the storage for a week or two. Plan your move so you don’t get overcharged.

Staff told me I had to list someone not living at the same address on my storage contract. I asked why they replied "to be responsible for my bill in case I defaulted, it is WA law". Learn the law!!!
