Everyone was always friendly and helpful. Building was always clean. I felt very comfortable there by myself.

I reserved a unit. When I got to it I found it was actually rented by someone else. Had to keep my movers waiting, on my dime, while a new unit was found for me to rent. Staff was helpful and courteous though.

The Manager has a put the customer first attitude and it was obvious because of the way the store and equipment was well maintained. I have used the services of this location several times and each time the service was exceptional. I will definitely refer friends and colleagues to this location. Thank you for taking care of me during a very stressful move. You took all my worries and put them to rest. Give the team there high fives.

I ran into a lot of trouble with your mobile app/check-in service. The app wouldn't load without connecting to your store's wi-fi. When I received a texted link to do the assessment, your website would not let me upload a photo of my gas gauge and odometer. I ended up getting waived through the process by one of your staff (a very helpful young man), but found that because the gas gauge didn't reflect what had been on the paperwork, I was charged $16 for using a very small amount of fuel that was well-within the range on the check-in/check-out instructions. The service and help at the location was top-notch. The experience using your app was sub-par.

I cannot believe I got such a large storage unit for a month free. Very nice storage building extremely secure n safe building.

I made my reservation online and spoke with some a person on the phone the morning before I got there; the truck had not been pulled out; it had not been warmed up; the problem with not being warm is I am on a time limit and 15 to 20 minutes warming the truck was in the brick of time I was paying for. Luckily I got back in time. The app on the phone did not work when I arrived. It said I was at the wrong location and said I needed to be at then gave the address for the location I was at, Your app sucks and dont work. the truck checkout list before leaving the lot did not come through on my phone until I was at my loading destination. To late to check for damage at that point. So your system has a cool outline but week infrastructure in my opinion based on my experience; I would not buy UHAUL stock on the stock exchange.

Everything was good, I always worry renting in Winter but tires, lights, lock was all fine.

We had a last minute need for a car trailer and they were excellent at getting us what we needed.

I live in Alaska, very icy in winter. Truck is from Arizona, so i get a truck with no studs, 1/4 a tank of gas, and when i return truck there is nobody there outside like it say's. Waited for about 5 min. Went inside to find one guy taking care of someone else, when i finally got tired of wanting i ask him about the people outside and tells all the people in line returning we where good to go. That was most of the line and the others thanked me! You people need to at least put studs on these vehicles especially in a state that is very icy! Thank you !

This is my first time renting a moving truck. The front desk did not give me any information and was not much help. Didn't tell me anything. Just gave me the keys. He also asked me to sign the pad after I took payment. I thought I was signing for the payment but I was signing a list of agreements that I didn't even read he did not give me a chance to read before signing.

I specifically ask if I had a dolly and I didn't have one when I went to that location to move. Amber is who I had asked.

Return agent shorted me on my gas gauge when I went out of my way to return the truck with the needle higher than the initial 1/4 tank I started with. There is no way I left the truck with 1/8 a tank when I added gas myself to offset use. I verified needle was above 1/4 mark when I parked at lot. This stupid gas charge soured my otherwise pleasant rental trip. Either the agent is shorting me or the gauge broke after I left truck. Either way, I am not happy and will not rent from this location again. Feel like I was extorted. Also you should not be able to rent a truck with only 1/4 a tank to start. That's just crappy service.

The staff went above and beyond during a difficult time in my life...

The staff was always Very grumpy and rude. They acted like helping you was a chore and it was quite concerning. The only gal that was super sweet was the older cleaning lady that came the the storage building. She was always so friendly and helpful. I always felt bad for her because she had to clean up some really nasty stuff left by people at the entrance. She should get some kind of compensation. Sometimes there are USED NEEDLES, pee cups and literal human poop and she cleans it with a smile on her face. She is definitely a saint.

This was the single worst customer service experience that I have ever had. I will never use UHaul again and I will tell everyone I know my story. If you want to hear the story or care about your customers you can reach out to me.

Boooooo! Cold truck lots of snow on it, mirrors and windshield frozen and hard to see out of (very unsafe) 30 min warm up time. Very disappointing. Extra fuel charges that were bs, dispute form required for bs extra fuel charges. No first call resolution. Long hold times, inaccurate and poorly working web site. This store needs to get their stuff together. Booooo!

I was very disappointed with the customer service provided. The people that helped us were no personable and when I went to drop the truck off, I was asked to just leave it with the keys inside. I requested someone go outside with me to check the truck but they were too busy. Then I received my bill with an extra $50 charge stating that I did not fill the gas tank up to the proper line even though I did the same amount as it was when I took the truck. I don't understand why no one would help or notify me but instead would rather take my money. I am very disappointed with this situation.

The staff were extremely helpful and the products were a real value. The storage was secure and super clean. Felt like an extension of home.

Mrs. McDowell was awesome! She was very pleasant to work with and I appreciate her going above and beyond the call of duty. She is great at accommodating those who seek uhauls services, prompt but extremely thorough. The storage facility and store was very well maintained, organized and exceptionally clean. It is hard to begin to describe the level of incompetence at this U-Haul location. I rented a 6x12 U-Haul trailer from the North Anchorage U-Haul location on Boundary Ave. I reserved the trailer for a drop-off in Seattle, and explained to the North Anchorage U-Haul that I would be traveling through Yukon and British Columbia on the Alaska Highway during winter, and that the trailer should be in good shape. The North Anchorage U-Haul hooked me up to a first trailer, only to discover that the wheels were seized up. The employee then hooked me up to another nearby trailer. I looked at the wheels and questioned whether they were sufficient for the length of my drive. The tires were almost completely bald. They had little tread at all. The trailer as also banged up, and did not have the proper stickers to indicate the existence of the dents that were present. The U-Haul didn't seem to care much, and sent me on my way. After traveling less than an hour outside Anchorage in a snow storm, the trailer got a flat tire. I pulled into the nearest U-Haul location I could find, which happened to be Eagle River Body & Paint. I parked in their lot and contacted U-Haul roadside assistance. One of the employees of Eagle River Body & Paint came by to see if everything was OK. We explained the situation. He took one look at the tires and said that all four were wildly inadequate, and that he wouldn't let someone take a trailer to Fairbanks in that condition. He also noted that the trailer was hooked up incorrectly, and that the North Anchorage location had a reputation for this level of incompetence. We eventually got our tires replaced at the Eagle River Body & Paint Neighborhood Dealer location, which I would highly recommend.

With only one person working, I was very satisfied with the services provided. Very good job.

The staff were incredibly helpful and made the rental experience absolutely great. Very fast service, a warm truck when it was 10 degrees out, and seamless procedure. Really a well run and staffed operation.

Nothing they always do a great job, Veronica, Aimee and all the rest of the team are very friendly and always go the extra mile for their customers.

I did not use the miles that I was charged for and they didn't credit my bill to reflect the 9 mile difference. Which isn't much but I don't know how many people have been ripped off by them but i will bring it to social media.

Reserved an appliance dolly and when arrived said they didn't have any. After I complained, they “found one”. Signs all say wear masks but no employees were wearing masks. I'm high risk so that was uncomfortable. No one met us to check in. Had to go in and find someone and they said they would check in on phone later and send us a receipt. Customer service was not good at all. Will use another location next time.

Landon at the St Louis store was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me, he was an amazing representative. My uBox arrived in Alaska with the door hanging wide open and my items exposed to the elements. I placed a lock on the door as Landon told me, and he said their office would secure it with other means after that. We received the most beat-up, trashed looking uBox there was in the entire warehouse. The other boxes were newer and sturdier, but we received a ratty, warped box. I didn't complain at the time, thinking so long as my items arrived safely I didn't care. I don't blame Landon for that either. The box arrived with my lock still hanging on a broken hinge that was bent and completely separated from the door, and the other metal latches were destroyed. When my box arrived at the uHaul in Anchorage, the manager Veronica saw that my box was ajar and beat up badly, so she immediately leapt to action to secure the door, assess for damage, and contact me. Veronica was also very helpful, and I appreciated her service. Were it not for Landon and Veronica, I would have given you 0 stars. Your customers deserve the best you can provide to them, not the worst. Don't take advantage of your customers who won't put up a fight or a fit. I won't be using uHaul again unless I am absolutely desperate with no other options. Be thankful you have good, hard working people in your offices that actually cared about giving their best service.

Nothing I can think of. I've rented twice from this location now and every employee, from the lady who printed my contact to the guy who checked in the trailer when I dropped it off was amazing. Both the guy who hooked up my trailer in the morning (I missed his name) and the guy who checked it in (I believe his name was Kuan) were especially helpful. I was using my wife's Volvo to tow and felt assured they knew what they were doing and safe having them handle her car.

Aimme, Rick and all of the rest of the crew are great and I'm happy to continue doing buisiness with them all!!

I was charged $7.00 twice for the 1 dolly provided and used. I'm really disappointed. Was I overcharged because I'm a woman? It's not he $$, it's just not right!! I left a message..nobody called me back. Super not happy!!!

Horrible communication, the cancellation process took way longer than it should have and it was practically impossible to ever reach a human there. The storage building smells horrible all the time, there’s always garbage around. The storage room is dark, it’s extremely hot on the 3rd floor. Not impressed with this location at all. Not worth the storage rate

The storage unit was like working in an oven or sauna. Unnecessary hot. After hours the sliding door did not work with my access code making it impossible to move things in and out after I got off work. On most occasions there where no carts available, and people parked right in front of the door, making it difficult to load my truck. There were a lot of homeless people hanging around, and weird people riding around on the carts inside the building. Also people with dogs hanging out inside the building, and intoxicated people hanging around. I was never comfortable being there alone.

Initial and secondary assigned storage were BOTH occupied, storage areas were in the 80’s, and entry area was cluttered. Returned a rented trailer on time, but was contacted at drop off location (not Boundary) two days later, requesting I intended to return the item. Trailer was in the yard, but associate was too busy to follow-up previous call with customer.

It was frustrating when we first started using the storage facility years ago. According to corporate policy they determine what units to open and when. We walked by 15-20 empty units to get to ours. When asked why, they said they couldn't use those until corporate opened them in the computer. I guess that makes since somewhere.

They could use some air circulation in the summer time to reduce the smell from other units stored items. During the winter it's good though. Helpful staff!

From friendliness and helpfulness of staff, to secure storage units, to fair dealing during the corona crisis, I would rate U-Haul on Boundary Avenue top notch.

Easy to use, great location and relatively inexpensive. My stuff was secure and I never felt it was in danger of being broken into. The staff is also great and friendly.

The sttaff was particularly helpful and friendly. Cannot praise them enough.

I shouldnt have to pay extra to access my belongings after hours. i work 72 hours a week and accessing my unit before 7pm could be difficult to do. All the staff was great, but them not having a good telephone system or intra messaging system that working properly caused me stress trying to reach someone in the store. I kept getting reservations which they couldn't help me. A good team needs equipment/ tools that works to get the job done. the staff made up for the lack of communication due to the equipment not working and me not being able to get a hold of someone.

Rat pee was over my furniture in the back. GROSS! I didn’t have food stored there at all.

Returned a box truck after hours. The procedure to check it back in on my cell phone did not work. Please check your site to ensure ease of use and accurate instructions. Over the past millennia, all of my experiences with U-Haul have been great. The counter person at this location gives outstanding customer service. A salary increase is highly warranted. Keep her happy as that, I want her there in the event I need her expertise later.

I was very impressed with our Uhaul storage experience! The unit was very clean and secure. So secure, I even struggled getting my unit open without the alarm going off, so I KNEW a robber couldn't;)
