Customer service was lackluster. No one smiled or seemed genuinely happy. I just dropped over $600 to rent a truck and don't remember receiving a thank you. Also was told the truck I rented had half a tank of gas. The truck I was in had a little over 1/4 th of a tank. I stopped before dropping it off and added $20 so I'd leave it with the same amount as when I picked it up. We switched up trucks in the middle of pick up and I think there was an error and the drop off location might have thought it had half a tank when I dropped it off. I don't know.

I had some bad experience and some good. I didn’t like the fact thar 9 times out of 10 I had to abs that one of the broken down trucks be moved so that I could access my storage and the price is outrageous!! The staff at the uhaul on 6th is absolutely amazing!!! They had to put up with me and I am a handful to say the least. Every time I entered the building I could see the expression of oh my what does she want today, but the tone of their voice and the attitude was completely the opposite. They went above and beyond to satisfy my demands. They all deserve a reward for all I put them through. To the Uhaul Crew on 6th in Amarillo, Thank You All for putting up with me. I reserved a TRUCK two weeks in advance! The day I went to pick it up they said I had to take a cargo van! They didn't honor the 50 GUARANTEED reservation! The guy wasn't very friendly plus there were THREE TRUCKS sitting outside! Will never use U-haul again and will tell everyone I know how crappy it is!

The girl that checked me in did not know what she was doing. It took over an hour for her to get me my storage unit. she kept pushing me off, to go to where i had to return my uhaul truck in canyon she wanted to cancel my reservation so i could go there. Someone else has to help her so i could get going. A few weeks later i went in to rent a truck so i could move my things and she was there again and stated that they were sold out of trucks meanwhile there was about 5-6 trucks there. I went online to try and see who else had a uhaul available, THE SAME location had multiple trucks available. I felt lied to and went to home depot and rented a truck. I will never deal with this location again. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

The truck I drove was louder than anything I've ever driven. When I returned it, they simply stated oh sorry. We shouldn't have rented this to you, the catalytic converter was missing. And went on about their day. The headlights on that truck were also ridiculous. I couldn't see anything with those. There's not way that truck was street legal. And even if it is there's no way it's safe for people to be operating. Y'all are putting peoples life at risk.

Be sure to double check the rates. We got a quote a week or so before renting the truck, and it ended up being 200$ total more than what we found. Take screenshots of the quote as well, that way you can possibly barter to keep the price at that level and nothing more. Otherwise, no issues

I had some things that went wrong from the start and just stayed bad. promised and reserved one thing got something different and them emptied one unit and was to be charged less for the one unit because of their mess up but still got charged full price was to get a credit and have not seen that back yet. Then the unit I still had was to be one price and again they where going to charge me full price for that unit so I just moved it all out, They did not stand on their word. This was again their mess up from the start,

I rented the truck and the lights did not work so I lost a valuable day that I was not able to travel . The next day they fixed it and more drama happened . They towed the vehicle while it was under contract and justified to charged me for the time that they had my vehicle . This is clearly not over . Not very happy

The staff members that I saw consistently were very friendly and helpful, although there did seem to be a lot of turnover and new hires being trained often. The price of my storage unit seemed to be increasing incrementally, culminating in a $15 late fee for my unit in the last month (despite my account being set up with auto-pay and never having that problem previously). The unit itself was not entirely secure. There was a 6-8 inch gap between the wall of my unit and the one next to it, such that my neighboring unit’s owner could reach an arm in take my items if I hadn’t accounted for that. Elevator goes down sometimes and delays my ability to access the unit or remove items.

Overpaid for fuel supply. Gauge was sticking until it jumped to full. Was supposed to return it with half a tank but gauge didn't indicate fuel until it was in the full position. Asked for a rebate refund but no action was taken

I had to rent this vehicle because they kept changing my apt for hitch install on my van. They had originally quoted me $2something then raised it to $7something. I finally had it installed today for almost $400. Then it took all day and have to go back to install the light connector. I felt like this amount should of been applied to my hitch installation because I wouldn't of had to rent this truck had it not been for the store error. Also the hitch was supposed to be there today and it wasn't and had to be brought in from a store 2 hours away. Horrible customer service. The manager did what she could but then was on her way to Abilene today.

The staff person was very friendly and helpful; however, service was slow and took a long time to check out as it seemed they were short staffed. The truck should have been ready and the requested items already in the truck. They had to move several other trucks to get to ours. They should improve the efficiency of the process. This was the same experience we had last time we rented there. It would have been great if the truck had cruise control for our 7 hr drive.

When trying to return vehicle after business hours while trying to check out it couldn't verify my location. My location was clearly on as it was working on other applications. I walked the property for 20 minutes trying to refresh and restart my phone to avoid a $20 fee and i still get stuck paying the $20 fee.

The thing I don't understand is when I got the U-Haul truck and move my things I have put $100 deposit down. They told me they would not need all the money and they took all of my money of my mycard

I rented a 10 X 10 X 10 storage and it was in two separate units. Even though they were next to each other I had trouble getting the small amount of furniture into them both. Also now two locks.
