Service representative was excellent. Vehicle had hail damaged mirrors which made me worry about checking my blind spots while doing lane changes. Also, tire monitoring warning light was on... There was a lack of employees working. No one inside the store for over 10 minutes to help a customer. Just about every aspect of my experience had at least one significant roadblock. When I first attended my appointment to put a hitch on my car, after having made the appointment a week in advance, I was told when I got there that they didn't have the correct parts. When I eventually did have an appointment, I was charged for an extra part that was left off the original receipt, which was unexpected, but not a huge deal. When a Uhaul employee tried and failed to attach that extra part to my vehicle, they told me that I would be able to attach it myself and left me with the part. I was not able to do it, having no experience with such things. When I came back to pick up my trailer, the same employee did put that part on, which I appreciated. I took the trailer across multiple states, and when I was asked where I'd like to drop it off when I was done, I was not given the option to bring it to a Uhaul location that was actually in my destination city. When I asked if I could bring it to the closer location, I was told (by other Uhaul employees, not those in Norman) that I could not change my drop-off location, even about 24 hours before the trailer was due. I was treated kindly in my personal interactions with employees and the equipment functioned properly. I just feel that many of these issues were easily avoidable with a little more effort, which I believe I amply paid for.RYAN G.

I am actually very dissatisfied with u-haul as a company. The location that I picked up and dropped off was great, but your website would not let me do the return cause he kept making me take the same picture over and over and then would kick me out and I would have to start all over. Then I feel like I was over charged because when I got an estimate online I was quoted 846.00 but I was charged 925.00 and I did not go over my miles and returned the truck 2 days early so I am very upset. If you can not have an accurate website then you need to not use it or get it fixed. I have used u-haul for several moves and this experience by far is the worst and I will not be using your company anymore.JOSHUA P.

When I arrived, the truck was not parked on the "east side of the building by the back gate", as was stated in my notification, It was on the North side by the front entrance so I had to walk around and actually find the truck. The Dolly that I rented for an additional $7 was not in the truck, and it was Sunday at 6pm so nobody was at the pickup location to get me one. The pictures of the truck were not accurate, as it had scratches on the front Drivers side bumper and the passenger side rear wall. It was parked so closely between two other trucks I had to pull in the mirrors in on all 3 trucks just to back out of the space and not hit another truck or scratch or break a mirror. I called U-haul customer service and waited 45 MINUTES ON HOLD WITHOUT EVER ACTUALLY SPEAKING TO SOMEONE. I gave up and counted it a loss and left. When I dropped the truck off Monday, I waited (soaking wet because it was pouring rain outside) for 15 minutes inside in line, to just be told I that I had to complete the truck check in, in the application on my phone. So I went back outside in the rain and got the odometer, fuel and interior truck pictures. I was NOT SATISFIED AT ALL. Your customer service was horrendous. Your care for people's time was even worse. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING UHAUL to any one.Joshua C.

Truck was dirty inside and out, many dents and scrapes. Very rough. Tow trailer would not go 55 mph empty and loaded I could not go over 36pmh without trailer wobble. I have loaded and pulled hundreds of trailers and never had an issue like this unless I was going well over 70. The slow speed is what caused me to be late on returning equipment and miss a graduation party.MICHAEL R.

This has been the most horrific experience. We rented a storage space (which has always remained empty) as a place where our daughter who attends OU could use if she needed to leave school quickly due to COVID. Our bills were paid on auto-pay. In late January, we decided she was staying at school and that we could cancel the account. Since our name is on the account, we had to complete a document and send to the manager giving authorization to close the account and cut the lock. We live in Michigan. After that time, we were billed for another monthly fee. We contacted the store and sent a second copy of the cancellation form. I have since sent them to your store manager as a reference point. The charge we received was credited. We have then been charged again, received a lien notice, another charge and a final notice. I have send several emails to Brett the store manager to work this though as well as worked with Lisa from your customer service department. Brett will not return calls nor emails. As of right now, we have lien notice against us (without merit) as well as charges on our American Express card for monthly billing when we clearly returned the unit prior (documented). I am disappointed at this service and the lack of care and concern from your store manager Brett. I have copies of all emails sent to Brett for reference. As of this moment, we still are not clear on next steps. We need some clarity and closure here. Way way waaaaay to over priced. I went from paying $137 to now $54 a month by switching. I rented a 10' truck on 10/22/2020 'In town price' They lied and said I drove 50 miles when I did not. I went 24 miles. 11 miles there and 11 miles back, plus stopped for gas. 700 E Lindsey to 905 SE 19th st moore, ok. That is 12 miles there and 12 miles back!!!!!! One way trip!!!!! I went from paying $34.00 to $78.00 to $128.00 for 'In Town' services that advertised $19.99. Their response to me was 'Did you take a picture.' Well of course not, because I didnt think i was going to get screwed over plus it isn't my job to make sure someone can read numbers right. They made my account overdraft. So overall $128.00 charged for going 24 miles. Very dishonest and shady people. I work hard for my money and They stole from me and was not truthful about the numbers. I spoke to the manager and they did not help me at all. They said the numbers added up....yeah, lies. I spoke to customer service and they said I can file a complaint but the manager from a local store would contact me...what good would that do? I already spoke to them! I wanted corporates number. I asked the ladies 'Who read the numbers on the truck' and they did not even respond back. They were trying to save their jobs. Almost everything about using U-Haul storage was positive, except for two items. 1. The post where we needed to check-in was often blocked by trailers forcing us to leave our trucks or cars and walk over to slide our card through the reader. I was told when I reserved the unit over the phone that I would maybe have to walk up a couple of stairs, but nothing major to get to the upper level. When I arrived at my unit, it turned out to be an upper level unit only accessible by a set of rolling stairs, which is not what I was told and did not suit my needs. Thankfully, the staff were very helpful and were able to move me to a ground-floor unit on the same day. In addition, the day that I arrived to move in, all of the key cards were demagnetized, so none could be activated in my name, and I ended up having to leave to go to work without having moved in because I didn't have keycard access and also did not have time. When I came back the next day, the issue was resolved, for which I was grateful. I also did not feel like I was well-informed about how to swipe into the facility, since it required swiping into two different control panels, which I never would have guessed on my own. The staff member who helped me was very kind though, which was nice. In sum, the move-in process ended up being far more difficult than I thought it would be, but everything worked out well.emma k. | First Impressions
