Everything & everyone was satisfactory. I took pictures of discrepancies of vehicle prior to leaving as to not be responsible for tears, etc. There was an issue with the bill/ contract but staff corrected the mistake effectively & efficiently. When I got to the location to pickup the equipment, I didn't recall my account information to sign in for reservation service. The staff were very helpful so not recalling my information was not an issue. However after I left and reviewed my contract, I noticed that I was charged double! Meaning instead of $19.95 or $7.00 for equipment I was charged $39.95, $14.00! When I made the staff aware of the mistake, they corrected it quickly without an argument. So yes I'd advise customers to use the location/ Baltimore new center area. Have large selection of vehicles, trailers and moving items.GREGORY P.

We fell down for a easy rental not to have contact with anyone when we got there the truck smell just like marijuana we're not smokers were asthmatics and we had to take that truck the windows were nasty the door panels could have been wiped off it was just not a good fish I had to go and get my own appliance dolly and the attitudes were no good I had to go in and get a key that was already supposed to be outside somewhere that makes me want to go and rent from another company and when I call the 1-800 number the young lady did not give any type of care she said I'll give you $15 off of that's all I can do she didn't say that she was sent a message to try to get them to straighten out the place they were so ghetto and I replaced to be right in the heart of Detroit just terrible went there a few times and this has happened each time went there because it's close to our house if we go to another location we have to pay for more mileage and it's not fair to us sign please helpShalaya P.
I just paid over $70 in fuel when I received the truck I had no fuel in it I need to be compensated back my money I also noticed that there is a oil leak or gas leak on this truck I just put $20 in here I was a half an hour away to be exact and both times I put $20 in there equaling $40 the first part of my day it was gone within a short period of timeStanley B.

Let the customer know before hand that there will be a $150. Charge if there is smoking in around or near the rental. We were unaware of that policy. Yes. There were signs in the truck that stated no smoking but did not know you could not stand near the truck & smoke. I feel that is a ripoff. I have never experienced this fine policy no where else. On top of that the worker was ignorant to engage a fight with the customer because the customer was very upset about the $150. Fee and the worker engaged a verbal confrontation because the customer looked in his direction. You are on your job keep working & don't concern yourself is all he had to do.Mia B.

Quite possibly the best storage facility on the planet. I cannot think of a single thing to truly complain about. I stored a large amount of my personal items at this location for over three years, as I moved from Detroit to Europe. Many of these items were of a very high value. I requested 24/7 uhaul truck share to be able to pick up the truck at 830am on Sunday. I confirmed in person the day before that the key will be in the lockbox and I won't have to wait for a uhaul employee since they don't come until 9am. I got there and my instructions said I still had to wait for an employee to give me a key. When I approached the employee, he told me my truck wasn't ready and still had to be cleaned. I wasn't able to leave in the truck until 920 cause I told him he didn't have to clean it, I just had to go. I know the employee in the morning was working alone and had a lot to do and was working as fast as he could, so I don't blame him. But basically I just don't recommend doing the 24/7 truck share pickup at this location outside of their business hours.BRITNEY MICHELLE B.

This facility will be very convenient, accessible during foul weather conditions with its covered loading and unloading facility. There are plenty of moving dollies available free of charge to move your personal items back and forth between your locker and vehicle. I like that the units are climate controlled especially during the colder part of the year or summer time. Staff are very friendly and helpful and you can get all your packaging needs on site. Ordered my truck through 7 mile and livernois location, customer service called and told me to pick my truck up at Baltimore Ave location because 7 and livernois didn't have my truck so I went down there the day of my reservation and Baltimore said they didn't have it so they sent me to 7 and livernois. The link/online portal to check in vehicles is severely flawed. Using it with Chrome, it won't allow photos to be uploaded. But the STAFF at this location - Steven and the woman running the counter, and all the staff outside helping with trucks - are great, helpful, patient, even when under incredible stress. The staff was slow, unclear, and unhelpful. Instructions to get to my unit were unclear and the code that they gave me for the elevator didn't work. Every time I opened my unit the alarm would sound because the system did not sign the unit over to me. Most of the staff, except for one, was unhelpful about this and it was not resolved. Storage Card did not provide eleavator access to 7th floor when I attempted to move in items after unloading. I wasted more than an hour reloading items after I found out elevator would not allow me to go to the 7th floor. Not sure what happened, but seems like these people are scammers. Went, told them I was moving out, rented a truck. Was told everything was all set, all I had to do was return the truck, and everything would be closed out. Just got a bill for $600 the other day though, apparently they kept charging me the whole time. I guess that's what to expect from a company like uhaul. All of a sudden hours changed for storage. Picked up uhaul truck 3/21 and the dark skin stocky guy made me walk all the way across the street to retrieve truck instead of him getting it like he suppose to and he didn't evaluate the truck nor the gas til I told him to. Gas was less that 3/8. When I went to return my storage card he seen me go in and out of office looking for staff and he stay in a uhaul truck textn. I walked up to the truck he was in and he just took the card and continued textn instead of taking me inside the building to get closing statement of storage. He was lazy and unprofessional. The reservation system isn't great. They need 3 phone numbers and then a back up address. Seems like a very 1980s requirement. Overall, hard to call ahead for info, robots and dialtones. Hard to find clear information online. No way to reserve a time to move in, so we had to wait while they moved a bunch of stuff around. All of this added ups to unnecessary time (and cost) for everyone. Even our professional movers were upset by the process. But as far as having a box that stores things, it does that. Thank you for all of your help during the coronavirus outbreak. I know you are all working hard, while trying to keep safe and healthy. My moving guys reported a less-than-stellar move-in experience. The man driving the truck had to wait 45 minutes for someone to move a car out of the driveway in, and said he couldn't get in without it being moved. He had to wait 15-20 minutes for people to come up and down on the elevators to get them in and out of the units too.
