Samuel S.Very conflicted on this rating. I had reservations for a truck and a storage unit. Everything with the truck went super smoothly, not really any issues at all. It was very convenient all the way through. The storage unit however is where things got rocky. Initially everything went well. We were even able to switch to a bigger unit after realizing the one we reserved was too small. The employee available during office hours was very friendly and helpful. After office hours however, things are kind of ridiculous. They shut the main loading doors (double wide sliding doors) and you only have the ability to load through a standard sized door on either side, so hopefully everything you need to store fits through a standard sized door. Then, when it came around time for access to end there was absolutely no warning for it whatsoever. Suddenly the elevator just stopped. We and several other folks trying to unload were not able to even go up and lock our units. Two of the groups including us had the door left wide open with the general instructions to "come back as close to 5 as you can". There was no heads up. No conversation. And everything we owned that we just spend 12 hours moving across the country was now open and available in a unit for anyone who can access the building before we got there. We live an hour away now. So after driving all day and unloading all evening into the night, we had to get up at 4am to drive another hour and get there at 5 to close the unit. If we had just had a heads up, or a last call type thing. Something. Anything. They tell you the access hours of course but when you're unloading, you're not checking your phone every 5 or 10 minutes. You just try to get it done. It was honestly ridiculous. Hopefully there is some sort of remedy in the future for that kind of issue.

For two days my stuff and then I was advised pay for another uhaul just to get my things when I got to Uhaul they said it didn't stop because it didn't have brake fluid and power steering fluid now I'm getting the run around about my 326 dollars

Douglas B.I was moved to an even further location about 15 miles away when there are dozens closer, like this one. I called and moved to this one. When I arrived, they didn't have my rental equipment and said I had to buy it or they can move me again to another U-Haul location, so I bought the stuff I needed to get on with my day. The truck had 66% a tank, not 75%. I also drove 3 miles per the odometer but was charged for 7.

When I got there in was charged for approximately 35 miles, I only used 24 miles. I should have received a refund for the unused miles or it could have went towards the gas. However, Iwas chargedmore moneies for the gas. I do know how to do math.

Fallon B.I told the Uhaul employee who helped me rent the truck that I was using the truck to move appliances. I rented an appliance dolly with my truck rental and had the employee confirm that the location I picked the truck up from would have an appliance dolly for my rental. She confirmed that it did and would be included with the truck I rented. I showed up and the location did not have a single appliance dolly. The employee did not apologize and I was forced to go a different route to move the appliances. Horrible experience!

reck C.The representative that was there when I picked it up was very rude to everyone. He told me that he didn't have the dolly that I reserved and then rented a dolly to someone else. He rented someone else a storage unit that still had someone else's stuff in it. Then when I refused to let him talk down to me he told me I needed to leave and rent a truck somewhere else. I have never been so disrespected than I was by this person! His response to it all was that he didn't care because it's not his store. If anyone asks I will tell them to nomevee go to this location.
Nichole P.I am a little upset with my U-Haul experience but cannot fault this specific location. We had a reservation at another Uhaul for a Cargo Van and dolly with a pickup time of 10am. They were not available and we were then sent to another location that didn't open for an hour. That location didn't have any cargo vans - although we were told they did. We then went to a 3rd location that ended up finding us this rental. We never got a dolly because no one had any. Overall, this set us back by 3 hours and was a very frustrating experience!

I couldn't be happier-it's clean, the staff is friendly & efficient; it has good hours easy access good parking; I can't say enough it is extremely nice and I'm very happy to be renting at U-Haul for my storage needs. The cab smelled of smoke and was very dirty, even the back was full of dirt. After all of these issues they still charged me for fuel, even though I drove less than 40 miles and had it for 3 hours.

Phyllis W. | Overall ExperienceWas told the gas was at half a tank, which it wasn't it was a bit under that, and that I would need to refill to that before returning. The paperwork I was given showed how many gallons to get to half a tank (14) so I filled it with that much from empty before returning and that gave it 3/4 of a tank. Kind of frustrating when I followed the directions provided and feel like I was cheated out of money with gas as expensive as it is right now.

I was threatened with a $50 fine if I didn't drive 20 miles to their preferred drop off. When I got there they charged me for going 15 miles over my limit. I hate UHaul now. Never again.

Terri M. | First ImpressionsTony… A lady that works at the front desk was very unprofessional with us. She left a bad voicemail on my cell and I saved it for home office. We booked our truck for 1 day and she said at check out if we needed we could extend it after I said I might need it for 2. She said to call early if I decided to keep it. So, that's exactly what we did. We extended it. She was hateful about it for some reason. I'm assuming her day was going badly. She then out of nowhere says if y'all want this truck you need to bring it back by 10:30am then raised her voice and said no 10am & if you let late I'm going to charge you a $50 inconvenience fee because I have someone renting it at 11am. We rented the truck at 2:30 the 1st day. So no worries, I just ignored the attitude until the next day she calls me at 9am asking me in a rude voicemail are you on your way. You need to be here by 10. Just hateful. Especially when I told her I would be there before 10 the previous day. When we pulled up. She was smoking outside. A little blonde lady in her late 60s. As I got out of the car she said with a loud voice ARE YOU THE ZIMMERMAN's? It was so rude and bazaars behavior. My husband took the conversation over from there. We replayed the message to her on speakerphone & she said oh that's not bad and laughed it off. I just got in my Mercedes and was ready to go. It just goes to show that people don't have any respect anymore… It's just really sad. She needs to be wrote up or fired for her behavior . This is not what customer service is about. We are business owners here in nashville. It's not even close. Very disappointed…

There was some confusion as to where the truck was supposed to be dropped off. I explained that I selected the location because it's close to the airport and I was flying out immediately afterwards. This resolved the issue and my rental was closed without any additional charges.

NARKEETA M.The one complaint I have, is that you have to buy a specific lock from Uhaul. I had to have my lock removed due to a lost key, and they charged me $50 dollars for the removal, that took less than a few minutes, and then buy another lock, from Uhaul. That's garbage!!!

DONALD D.I use this location to go from Lewisburg back to Nashville I drove to Nashville to pick up the U-Haul do U-Haul was in very poor shape half of the driver seats missing it's been wrecked it's got the tire light on it drives like a log wagon I feel that this was a salvage truck from a junkyard that I got the girl that put me in the truck was so sweet she was top-notch I give her all credit today when I call to let them know that I was running a little behind the lady I didn't catch her name but she was very disrespectful and rude she told me if I did not have the truck back by 1:45 that she will call the customer that's needing the truck and tell them that they're getting their $50 refund back and then I was going to be paying the $50 to them at the U-Haul place I told her that I'm doing what I can I'm having to do this by myself and she's pretty much did not care I told her that I would send pictures to U-Haul that I have of this truck she didn't care do what you got to do she was not a very friendly lady and working for this location and working for U-Haul is going to run people away there's other companies out there that can help out but if you're going to go to U-Haul and that's how you're going to be treated it's not worth it it was not worth my hundred and $165 that I paid
