I had a good experience with Linda and all other employees at this facility.
The manager and staff here are very helpful and knowledgeable. The facility is always very clean and well lit. The price per unit here is definitely great compared to others. If I ever need the use of storage again I will definitely come here.
All was fine until check-out. I was only 6 days into a monthly charge and absolutely no prorated refund. No discussion of even a partial month's credit. All I got was "the contract says..." what a bunch of crap, not pro-rating charges. Then after I realized it and asked for my unit back I was told I would have to pay for another month. So now you can re-rent my unit and get paid twice. I will never ever use Uhaul again. You totally smell of GREED.

We came to U-Haul to store our RV. The staff (Dixie, James, and the manager Linda) were all extremely nice and helpful and made our move-in experience very easy! We would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a nice, clean place to store. And the bonus to that? Really nice people to work with!
The storage facility itself seemed safe and well lit. However, the staff was incredibly rude. The man who initially helped us with our storage rental had no kind tone at all. There was no pleasantness and he was very abrupt, seeming annoyed that we were even there. His communication skills were severely lacking and when I would ask to clarify something, he would snap back at me with a response. For example, my boyfriend and I were standing in front of him and my name is on the rental but my boyfriends card was on the rental. The man, while looking down, abruptly said "I need to see an ID" I asked if he needed mine or my boyfriends. He looke dup, rolled his eyes, signed and said rudely "Well, it's your name on the rental isn't it? Guess that means I need yours, doesn't it?." And then wen back to what he was doing. The attitude continued for the entire rental situation. We decided to cancel our reservation immediately due to the service. I don't want to give money to that kind of service nor do I feel comfortable leaving my belongings in a facility run by someone with that sort of attitude. We made sure to tell others not to go to that facility as well. IN addition, we also returned our 26' uhaul rental from our one way move to this facility and received rude guest service from the older lady who worked at the facility. Her tone was extremely condescending. She got in the truck and said "So you couldn't fill the tank?" I said oh itw as only at half a tank when we picked it up Her reply was very condescending tone "Well, that's not half a tank baby-girl" Um, I am a 46 year old mom and grandmother. I have a college degree and lots of life experience, I do not appreciate being talked down to by her. It was a hair of a mark under the half. We will never use this facility again.
This site is by far the best. They are always friendly and the management is amazing!! They work with you every step of they way!
Linda and her team are amazing. I had a storage there for almost 14 years. Had moved away from Idaho. The storage was filled with all of my husband's things who had passed away. I had to come back to the area for a family emergency and they were extremely accommodating and helpful to me to get my storage cleaned out. Linda and her team are one of a kind and I would highly recommend her facility to anyone in the area.

The staff were amazingly helpful and made a tough job easier. The only gripe I have is the online rental said it came with a lock for free, but I had to pay for a lock instead - you just need to match your marketing.
Linda is very nice. She was very real and honest. I liked talking to her. I can't remember her husband's name, but he went out of his way to exceed my expectations. I will rent my storage unit happily. I'll refere this business to anyone I hear that needs rental options.

Long wait when checking in
Linda was great. This particular location is absolutely the best uhaul I have ever visited. In the past I have had bad experiences with other uhaul locations but this one was great. I just want you to know that Linda goes above and beyond and that this location is a good example of how I would imagine a uhaul should be run. The check in/out processes were easy and quick. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable and professional. They clearly care about the customer. I’m telling you, it is SO much better than any other uhaul I can remember ever visiting. I don’t normally leave reviews but this was such a positive experience I felt the need. Also, by the way, I was never asked to leave a review.

I paid a $60. Deposit on furniture pads and was told the co had a record so no need for me to keep receipt. No one had a record. I lost $60 deposit!
Linda was awesome. We originally had storage scheduled at the Garden City location. When we arrived with a Uhaul truck full of furniture and a tight time frame, the manager said the unit was rented to another person, even though we had a confirmation. He shrugged it off like it was not his problem and told us to try another location. Although the second location was a lot more helpful, he also had no units. When we arrived in Nampa (30 minutes away and our 3rd attempt), Linda was extremely helpful and got us a large, clean storage unit and was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend her Nampa storage unit to anyone in the area!

Linda was incredibly helpful and made the entire process very easy! We were a bit turned around as we took a back way to get to the facility. I called to ask about pulling in as we are new trailer owners and backing up is a bit scary. Linda wasn’t able to pick up the call and I didn’t leave a message, but within 5 minutes she called me back anyhow and gave us great advice so we didn’t have to back up our rig. I was impressed! She was very professional and had a great sense of humor which our family appreciates!!! It is a little drive for us, but well worth it. We will be sharing our experience with friends and highly recommend working with Linda.

Everything was great except it was to hard moving into and out the indoor storage units.
The local representatives are beyond helpful and accommodating but dealing with the national help line leaves something to be desired as they are very disconnected.
Amazing! Not only did they accommodate our changes in travel, but they had a perfect sized unit and honored our 30 days free storage without hesitation! I would recommend them any day to anyone that needs storage OR a moving truck/trailer!
Pricing for storage of my fifth wheel was (is) very reasonable.
Being friendly would help. The service was good, but we were treated like one more cog in the machine. Very impersonal.
We were so grateful for the grace period to get the few remaining things I had left in storage due to the Covid-19 . I had to mail the keys to my daughter so she could scramble and remove what was left! Thank you!! A dollar saved.... Were dollars for essentials!!:)
Out of all my years of renting a storage unit, this was, by far, the absolute best. Very clean and convenient. The employees and owner were always very pleasant and willing to help.

The team at the UHaul facility in Nampa are the best we've ever experienced. We vert much appreciated their help and kindness after a very long 2 days of driving. They were a blessing to us!
No complaints. We moved our RV to a location closer to home and that's saving about $50 per month.
Staff was friendly, and my belongings were still there three months later when I moved out. Inside the facility was clean and nice.

I got a storage unit & was all moved in, went home & logged onto uhaul.com to check my account, but there was a different unit on my account. they gave me the wrong unit, so had to move the right unit

past due charges & fees waved when i moved out, made up for the mileage overcharge & blanket (which i never used) charge on the truck i rented, & the miscommunication. great friendly staff too.
In my opinion if uhaul is not willing to issue a partial refund on their prepaid units (you have to pay for the month in advance) then they should not be allowed to rent out the unit ASAP!

The lighting in my unit needed to be fixed because there's no sensor where it would turn on where I was at you have to walk through the end of the hallway and that needs to be attended

Everything was great until we moved out. That is not the correct move out date. I called and spoke with a lady. And we moved out on 10/19. The lady working there that day was extremely rude

Delivery of ubox went smoothly. Pickup of empty ubox went so smooth I didn't even hear them pick it up. Would definitely use uhaul/ubox again. Would use helping hands again for load/unload of ubox.

I was rented a unit that did not exist the facility was under construction the owner of the facility was rude and obnoxious cancelled my request and dismissed me
There was a major issue with our rental from the California store to the Idaho store and the man in Idaho was great as we were very upset with what happened. I can commend him with a job well done.

When I got 2 pods, not 3, I was on the phone for 45 minutes. Near closing, worker told my dad to go past the gates and take time. Locked him in. Wouldn't come to door when I knocked on door for help.
we couldn't access our unit after 7 PM, or whenever we needed to. No light in the unit, hard to see anything. Raise in rent ridiculous, already too high, staff not very friendly for most part
There's a sharp drop-off at the doorway to the inside storage facility. It was very difficult for me to get the cart in/out. Driveway is very narrow. Friendly staff, nice and clean inside.
