My appointment was scheduled to pick-up at noon. I arrived at 12:45 and nothing was ready and they acted surprised that I was there. The representative Josh was rude the entire time. After waiting an addition 40 minutes Josh told me the U-Haul truck was just above empty and it I'd better get to a gas station ASAP. When I questioned it being on empty he snapped and me and told me it was not a problem. Its much easier to return a truck on full than on empty. I would definitely not go to this facility again due to Josh. Every other experience I've had with U-haul has been great.

Terrible experience. The Muskegon store gave us the “wrong” truck. We were charged a wrong location drop-off fee due to their mistake. Thankfully, this was caught and is pending a refund. All of this, in addition to the fact that the truck was filthy, making a terrible noise, and leaking rain into the cab.

The inside of the van was filthy. And the smell yeesh. I have rented through this location for years and have always been happy with the service. This was my first negative experience. I have a big issue with customer service. The employee I picked the truck up from accidentally picked the incorrect drop off location and didn't verify it with me. It was near impossible to get that changed. I was told several times that the person I was talking to could not change it. The customer service agents need to be able to help a customer change the things needed not just pass them off to someone else and never allow the customer to get to anyone who can help.

I had a great experience and the staff was exceptional. From pick up to drop off. I will be utilizing this location again in the future. Mr. Ostrander and Mr. Bisson were courteous and knowledgeable, I definitely would recommend them to friends and family. The convenience of being able to refill my propane tank for my gas grill is also a huge plus! Thank you again.

If it's regarding the rental used on 6/11/22, it was an awful experience. Truck broke down, had to go opposite way of my move to get a different truck in another state. U haul hired movers to transfer contents to a different truck. Several damages to items and have a claim in process. Extremely disappointed with u haul services!!!!!!!!

You request early internet sign in to save time. I tried it several times and despite filling in all the data, could not complete the sign successfully. It would not let me check the box for having agreed to terms and conditions. I gave up and went in to the office where the data requested was accomplished in just a few minutes.

Check your roll up door for locks before you let the customer leave. I rented a trailer and when I got to my destination there was a lock on the door, luckily I was still in town when I found the lock. This still was a huge inconvenience when I had to return to the store.

This was the worst experience i have ever had with a company. i was scheduled to pick up my truck at 8 am from the location next door to my apartment. at 8 am when i walked over, there was not a truck in sight. suddenly the website said i needed to go to another location, 10 minutes away. on top of needing to find someone to drive me, i called UHAUL to confirm the location that i was supposed to pick the truck up from because suddenly at 9 am, the website said i needed to go to the location by my house again! frustrated, i selected the option for a call back since there was a 30-40 minute hold time. in about 30 minutes, i got a call back. however, after asking if i wanted to be connected to an agrnt, i was placed on hold for 30 minutes before the system just HUNG UP ON ME. Nothing about this experience was user friendly nor did it go smoothly at any point. i do not generally post reviews, however this was such an awful experience, i had to share. i hope others have better experiences. especially since moving is already stressful enough on its own.

Make sure gas is in it , should of had 1/4 tank and it was almost empty , had to go to first gas station down the road. Got charged 249.00 when I first placed order over phone , should have been paid and yet I had to pay another 391.00 and first payment wasn't even listed , I feel I got charged twice and then some. Other than that everyone was nice

The manager here, Tristan, was incredibly helpful to all his customers. I saw him run by us once, smiling, and looking I saw that he was simply trying not to let another customer wait at a gate. Great work ethic, very smart, very thoughtful. Keep this man happy, raise his pay, whatever it takes. That is how you can improve the next customer's experience.

The staff is rude and not helpful at all. I was hung up on by a representative after asking questions and trying to explain the situation. I contacted customer service and the regional manager. The regional manger has not responded to emails or phone calls. Not a good way to run a business

We recieved an old uhaul without cruise control for a 2000 mile trip instead of the new one with cruise control we went and looked at. Also, I was charged more than I was quoted for both the truck and dolly rentals. The worker where we picked up the dolly tried to upsell us telling us that we could not use that dolly for our car to try to upsell us. I had to approve pictures to show the before and after my use and the pictures were of when the truck was brand new...it has 120k miles on it and should have new pictures taken.

We originally rented a car dolly and after several hours of trying to get the car hooked up, we came to the conclusion we needed a flat bed hauler. We took the car dolly back and Uhaul kindly returned our money without us asking and set us up with a flat bed for the next day as there were none immediately available. Everything worked out perfectly after that. Customer service was friendly and helpful.

There was a small leak in the roof, but nothing was damaged. Also, the unit was emptied and verified as in good condition as of 10/30/21. My unit was rented on the 27th. And NO proration reimbursement was given. I paid a month's rent for four days? And when I asked asked why, the M.O.D. gave me this reason: "that's just the way it works." I will never use U-haul's services again.

The price is quite a bit higher than other storage facilities in the same area. The other units are maintained a little better but the staff has always been friendly and easy to work with. I would not have moved out other than the price for the unit.

The moving experience has been stressful. Once I arrived at Muskegon Uhaul Storage after driving up 14 hours from NC...they didn't have my storage unit available. I had reserved over a month ago (GM told me they do first come, first serve). I have called the 1800 number 3 times (got a person once & they hung up on me before I could even explain), called Regional Manager (left VM) & sent email to customer service. No reply from anyone. After waiting 3 hours at Uhaul return/storage unit, I finally left & I now have a full Uhaul truck over 2 hours away with no solution. Only bright spot is a different Uhaul location (Houghton Lake) has been trying to help-GM is super friendly & answers her phone.

24/7 access would be ideal for me in my lifestyle. Being a Professional Trucker I may only be in town for a 10hr break and having ANY access denial is frustrating. But they were the only place with a larger unit. They did work with me on my moving truck though which was awesome of them.

The staff were friendly. However, the agent who rented me the truck informed me of the special that month- stating I was eleihible for a one-month free storage unit. And beyond a month it would be regular price. He did not share that the unit was at the dropoff site from my one way trip. I called to reserve the unit, explained that I wanted to take advantage of the special and a different agent booked it. Again I was not told that the unit had to be at the other location. So when I arrived with my belongings to put in the unit I rented, I was surprised to find I was being charged full price. I am very disappointed that the first two agents didn't tell me the exact details. It feels like a bait and switch.

All my stuff got wet. And mouse dropping everywhere !! No food was put in the storage and some of my stuff was also chewed up. Like my photo album!!!!

I went by one weekend and the gate was stuck open. If you are 3 days late on the monthly rent they lock you out of your storage unit and won't unlock it until it is paid in full.

Absolute nightmare!! Rented Uboxes. Nobody could give me a straight answer about when they would be delivered. Was not told when they arrived in Muskegon from Cincinnati. Took a week to get delivered!
